    Kafta Kebab Plate(Ground Beef)
    Elizabeth H.

I definitely enjoyed my Kafka Kebab (ground beef). Tender, full of flavor, and wholesome. The dish was very generous which came with humus, salad, and charred vegetables. It was a good decision my husband and I shared it. We were very pleased and satisfied! Service was very attentive. The restaurant is simple yet everything was laid out for convenience. Catering is offered too with good selection of food items. It's a restaurant for good, solid, and comforting food.

    My receipt.

1st time I came here I ordered a gyro plate. I found bone fragments in the meat. I then reported it to the owner after nearly cracking a molar. Additionally, the website says it opens at 10am but the cashier doesn't even come in til 10:15am. So no one can take an order. I again called the owner and told him that I'm here, and the cashier isn't. He nonchalantly explained to me that the cashier always comes in late and that he usually shows up at 10:15am. I'm on my lunch break, and only have 30 min to order and eat. This place expensive. There was an eyelash in the cilantro sauce that I brought to the attention to the cashier. He did address that immediately. This business is poorly ran. I tried to give it a chance multiple times.

Last year I helped order the food for my church's women's retreat, and I had planned to use the same restaurants to cater this year's retreat. However, one of them closed down and I had to find a replacement. My friend recommended Navroz which had catered a meal for our church's leadership retreat several months before. She'd mentioned the portions were huge although the cost was a bit pricey. So I called the restaurant, and the chef and owner's mom Nikki answered the phone. She was very kind and helpful, and her food sounded yummy, so I was quite sure that I'd be going with them. Within the hour, Sam the owner called me, and his proactiveness, helpfulness, and great recommendations sealed the deal. He was instrumental in helping me finalize a menu to cater to our group's dietary needs. Sam also said the portions were generous, and assured me that 1 large tray each of chicken kebab and beef gyro, 1 small tray of falafel, and 1 small tray of tofu would be more than enough for our group of 50--plus they provide salad, rice, puffy bread, hummus, and sauces. It also helped they included plates, utensils, and napkins -- which wasn't the case with another restaurant I went with this year. Sam was extremely responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. When I first spoke with him, he actually was going out of the country the next day, and said he'd contact me after he returned to finalize the order details and take payment. He followed through on his word, which highlights his professionalism and integrity. We had the women's retreat this past weekend, and Sam was on time with delivery, and helped to set up everything on the chafing trays I had brought. I couldn't believe how much food there was, and he was so appreciative about giving Navroz our business. He was courteous and kind, which made a strong impression. Everything was SO DELICIOUS!!! So many people raved about the succulent and juicy chicken, flavorful beef gyro, crispy falafel, soft delicious tofu, tasty Arabic bread, regular and spicy hummus, and all the delightful sauces. There were also so many leftovers and people were excited that they could bring some home to enjoy with their families. If you ever have a catering need, I recommend Navroz without reservation!! Nikki's culinary creations and Sam's stellar customer service are top notch, and are bound to surpass your expectations! =)

First time here! The food was very fresh and delicious, the lady at the counter greeted me when I walked inside, great vibe, and I had an awesome, wonderful first visit today. The food was very tasty I really enjoyed the chicken shawarma.

I'm in the groove of eating a lot of protein so I came here to get some chicken tonight. It was soooooo GREAT and I love the garlic spread too. I will be dreaming about juicy tender morsels of healthy chicken breast!! So delicious!!! I hope the owner likes me because I will be back tomorrow!

My wife and I were in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try as we love Lebanese food. We decided to share the Kafta Kebab plate, which included rice, salad with feta on top, hummus, grilled tomato, onion and pepper and Arabic bread. There is a tzakziki dipping sauce on the side. The kebabs were seriously delicious: tender, well seasoned. Really good! The rice was very well prepared as well as the grilled vegetables. I thought the hummus and Arabic bread were very good too. Everything was freshly prepared. The prices for the plates seem high but the portions are really big. My wife and I happily split the Kafta Kebab plate and left the restaurant feeling very full. There is a counter where you can get sauces, cilantro and periperi. I dipped the kebab in them. The gentleman behind the counter who served us was very friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant. It is simply and nicely decorated place with a relaxed vibe and comfortable tables and chairs.

This was delicious with such fresh ingredients.

This place is awesome! The employee who helped us was so friendly and helpful. This was our first time here and she helped us become familiar with the menu. The food is absolutely delicious and so fresh. The portion sizes are huge. We will definitely be back.

there's a Gyro bowl only has meat rice, one piece of lettuce and a lemon slice, where are the cucumbers, tomatoes, Romain lettuce, onions
    Shirley G.

The food is good but you don't get everything you order. I ordered a Gyro bowl and it only had meat and rice no cucumbers, no tomatoes, no onions, no nothing but just meat and rice, it does not look like the picture on your menu at all. What a letdown.

When we arrived, we were the only people in the shop. The owner was extremely friendly and started a long and fun conversation about pro football ("soccer") and his sons' team and their games. He gave us a couple of small sample plates while we waited for our ordered food, and told us to grab fountain drinks too at no charge. Our ordered food then arrived, and as we ate he switched the conversation to the lack of sports and business opportunities during the Covid pandemic and how he proudly didn't get vaccinated. I had been prioritized for a vaccination due to my profession and gotten it, and as soon as I mentioned that (in conversation, not confrontationally cos it was so long ago anyway and the subject doesn't need to be divisive) his mood and attitude to my partner and I soured. The conversation abruptly and awkwardly ceased, and we felt very unwelcome. Sure enough, when I went to pay the bill we were charged for the supposedly-free fountain drinks, and I didn't feel I could risk furthering ill-feeling towards us by disputing it. We left, regretting our choice of dinner. The food itself was at least good (if not outstanding compared to other local Mediterranean options) hence the star rating I've still given, but with the extra fountain drink cost that we wouldn't otherwise have incurred it turned into an expensive meal. In addition, and needless to say, the negative interaction left a very sour taste. I can't see myself going back. TL:dr; Go for the food, or get delivery, but beware that offers of 'free' items may not remain so.

I was hoping the leftover falafel would taste better the next day, but sadly, it didn't. Chicken and beef kabob were decent. Kinda bummed how they didn't have some sort of combo bowl. You'd have to buy extra meat if you wanted to try different meats together. The extras and sides were quite pricey, too. We also tried a variety of flatbreads. The spinach and cheese was our favorite. We liked the zataar one, and the meat with jalapenos was just ok. The thick creamy garlic sauce went well with the thin, crispy flatbreads, while the runny white sauce tasted bland and slightly bitter (unpleasant with everything, to be honest). Overall, the food is fine, but I wouldn't go again. A few tables were available inside the small, simple-looking shop, but it felt a bit awkward eating there. Staff were not very attentive, but once we got their attention, they were helpful.

The staff is friendly and greeted me right away. They were very attentive and kept my drink topped off without me even having to ask. Now for the food... The food was delicious! I ordered the falafels, spinach fatayer, and a chicken shawarma pizza. The falafels were crispy and fresh, exactly what you want in a falafel. The spinach fatayer was hot, perfectly baked, and huge. The chicken shawarma pizza stole the show out of the appetizers. It had so much flavor, and the cheese was amazing. That cheese stretched like it was in a commercial. I wish I had ordered two! For my entrées, I ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs with a side of fries. This plate was unbelievably tender. The center of the lamb was perfectly cooked with a beautiful pink center, and I love a hot pink center. Makes my mouth water. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rice. The fries were great, too. I also ordered the chicken shawarma plate and the chicken kabob wrap. The shawarma plate was packed with flavor, and the seasoning was spot on. The rice was cooked to perfection. The wrap was so thick, I wanted to slap it like a big ol' booty. Lastly, the garlic sauce was the real MVP. Ambiance (5/5): Although we didn't sit inside, it was super cute, with classy boho vibes. The restroom was clean and well-decorated (although, not gonna lie, I don't know how I felt about the big mirror facing the toilet). The outside patio area was airy, and although right by the street, I didn't find it unpleasant. Service (3/5): It was just so-so. They sat us down quickly, gave us our menus and checked on us maybe twice. It wasn't super busy, but we had to wait to ask for things like extra plates and water for our dog. Food Overall (5/5): Food was delicious. We got the beef shawarma lunch special and got fries for the side (extra charge) and also the chicken shawarma lunch special with the hummus side. Beef Shawarma (4/5): It had a nice toasty flavor, perhaps from the spices, and the pickled veggies really complemented it. My only complaint was that I wish it had a bit more of the white sauce (maybe adding more hummus would have helped). It was also strangely a bit watery, maybe from the veggies. Overall, it was still a yummy wrap. Chicken Shawarma (5/5): The chicken shawarma tasted more balanced to me overall. I don't recall the meat being dry, although I did also slather it with a bit of hummus. I thoroughly enjoyed this wrap. Fries side (5/5): Their fries are made in house and it tastes so fresh. It was crispy on the outside yet still gooey and moist on the inside. I'm not sure if they make their own ketchup too, as it looked clumpier and tasted really fresh too. The kids gobbled this up. Hummus and pita (5/5): It came with a generous amount of both hummus and pita. The hummus was well flavored and blended, and it really complemented everything on the table. The pocket pita bread was not what I had in mind (I'm used to thicker ones), but the kids really loved it overall. Ice cream (4.5/5): We ordered two scoops from the dessert menu. They were both really thick, creamy and almost chewy like liquidized mochi. It was a very interesting texture but nonetheless a nice tasty treat on a hot day. I much preferred the vanilla bean, as the pistachio tasted and looked rather artificial (and I'm a pistachio ice cream lover). This place had so many to-go orders during the afternoon we were there. I can see why. Food is super fresh and tasty. I think we will be back the next time we are visiting.

Our party of 4 had a fantastic meal here. It is definitely worth doing the Supper Club for $60/pp…read morejust based on the pricing of each of the dishes, but it does end up being a lot of food. The only portions that were really large were the mains but all of us were feeling pretty full already after the medium dishes came out. We ordered the 5 dips (which is unlimited with the supper club - least favorite was the spinach feta and best were the muhammara and date labneh), corn ribs, layered potatoes, peaches & burrata, beef tagine croquettes, fried chicken, lamb shank, honey and feta cheesecake, and sticky toffee pudding. Honestly, there wasn't one bad outlier and all of us enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was attentive and efficient. I loved the food and casual atmosphere and will definitely return to try other menu items. We were seated upstairs and noticed that when we went downstairs to leave after finishing up dinner it was much cooler downstairs, which probably would have made for a more comfortable dining experience with the recent heatwave. Nevertheless, two very enthusiastic thumbs up for Mayfield.

This was the perfect place for our girl dinner!…read more Mayfield whips up the most inventive, delicious, and beautiful looking plates! Their food is rooted in Levantine cuisine which comes from the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. Everything was too too good! We got the Baba Ganoush with Bread, Batata Harra Thousand Layered Potatoes, and Grilled Cabbage. The Baba Ganoush is a an eggplant puree with crushed pistachios. Such a gorgeous savory dip. Their house-made bread is a must-get to pair! Super fluffy and toasted to perfection. The Batata Harra Thousand Layered Potatoes were my personal favorite. The potatoes were sooo crispy and the sauce (made of labneh yogurt, chili, and lemon) that it came with had me licking up very last bit. Lastly, don't sleep on their Grilled Cabbage! It was served as a wedge and featured XO sauce, dried sausage, peanuts and tahini labneh sauce. This would probably get any kid to eat their veggies. Will most definitely be returning!
