1st time I came here I ordered a gyro plate. I found bone fragments in the meat. I then reported it to the owner after nearly cracking a molar. Additionally, the website says it opens at 10am but the cashier doesn't even come in til 10:15am. So no one can take an order. I again called the owner and told him that I'm here, and the cashier isn't. He nonchalantly explained to me that the cashier always comes in late and that he usually shows up at 10:15am. I'm on my lunch break, and only have 30 min to order and eat. This place expensive. There was an eyelash in the cilantro sauce that I brought to the attention to the cashier. Last year I helped order the food for my church's women's retreat, and I had planned to use the same restaurants to cater this year's retreat. However, one of them closed down and I had to find a replacement. My friend recommended Navroz which had catered a meal for our church's leadership retreat several months before. She'd mentioned the portions were huge although the cost was a bit pricey. So I called the restaurant, and the chef and owner's mom Nikki answered the phone. She was very kind and helpful, and her food sounded yummy, so I was quite sure that I'd be going with them. Within the hour, Sam the owner called me, and his proactiveness, helpfulness, and great recommendations sealed the deal. He was instrumental in helping me finalize a menu to cater to our group's dietary needs. Sam also said the portions were generous, and assured me that 1 large tray each of chicken kebab and beef gyro, 1 small tray of falafel, and 1 small tray of tofu would be more than enough for our group of 50--plus they provide salad, rice, puffy bread, hummus, and sauces. It also helped they included plates, utensils, and napkins -- which wasn't the case with another restaurant I went with this year. Sam was extremely responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. When I first spoke with him, he actually was going out of the country the next day, and said he'd contact me after he returned to finalize the order details and take payment. He followed through on his word, which highlights his professionalism and integrity. We had the women's retreat this past weekend, and Sam was on time with delivery, and helped to set up everything on the chafing trays I had brought. I couldn't believe how much food there was, and he was so appreciative about giving Navroz our business. He was courteous and kind, which made a strong impression. Everything was SO DELICIOUS!!! So many people raved about the succulent and juicy chicken, flavorful beef gyro, crispy falafel, soft delicious tofu, tasty Arabic bread, regular and spicy hummus, and all the delightful sauces. There were also so many leftovers and people were excited that they could bring some home to enjoy with their families. If you ever have a catering need, I recommend Navroz without reservation!! Overpriced mediocrity are the two words which describe the food. The people were nice.

My wife and I were in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try as we love Lebanese food. We decided to share the Kafta Kebab plate, which included rice, salad with feta on top, hummus, grilled tomato, onion and pepper and Arabic bread. There is a tzakziki dipping sauce on the side. The kebabs were seriously delicious: tender, well seasoned. Really good! The rice was very well prepared as well as the grilled vegetables. I thought the hummus and Arabic bread were very good too. Everything was freshly prepared. The prices for the plates seem high but the portions are really big. My wife and I happily split the Kafta Kebab plate and left the restaurant feeling very full. There is a counter where you can get sauces, cilantro and periperi. I dipped the kebab in them. The gentleman behind the counter who served us was very friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant. It is simply and nicely decorated place with a relaxed vibe and comfortable tables and chairs. read more

Absolutely delicious food. We have ordered the gyro plate and the chicken kebab plate and both are excellent. Tasty sauces as well. Great portion size and always arrives nice and hot even though we live across town. And the bread!!! I must say we are completely in love with their bread!!! This has quickly become a weekly order for us, and we're looking forward to trying more of the menu! I'm writing this while still eating my food, I ordered it off doordash and it came very quick. Gosh this food is so good, it's very appealing and extremely fresh. I ordered the chicken protein bowl and garlic fries. The bowl had so many amazing flavors and be sure to get a side of their arabic puffy bread. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is bright and clean. The portions are huge! I wanted a simple lamb- beef gyro. I was explicit when I said I didn't want a lot of food. I did not know I would be receiving two gyros in the order. I didn't ask because it never occurred to me. They didn't inform me, which I feel they should have. The food came quickly and it was hot. If the wrap was a pita, it's the thinnest I've ever seen. In fact, it was thinner than some flour tortillas. The gyro was very generous but the wrap/pita could not contain all the ingredients. Nice problem, until you are overwhelmed by them. The meat was small bits and pieces of meat. It looked like they scooped up scraps and put them in the wrap/pita. No individual piece was bigger than a square inch and most were smaller; crispy, rather than soft and meaty. Worse was the meat lacked flavor. How does lamb/beef lack flavor? I ate less than half of one of the wrap/pitas. As much as I hate wasting food, I couldn't eat anymore. It wasn't bad, just too much food in an insufficient wrap/pita. Yelp sent me here and this is one of the few misses. It was just ok but I left disappointed. It must be known this is the second time this month I went to a local place looking for a gyro. Both times, the meat was small bits, crispy, and without much flavor. I hope this isn't how all local Greek/Mediterranean restaurants serve their gyro because it's not representative of the luscious, flavorful, strips of tender, moist, beef, and or lamb. read more

Oh my! This place is awesome! Lots of bang for your buck! My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. We got two gyro wraps, fries, and two pieces of baklava. The gyros were huge and came with a side salad. They make a lot of their items in house including tzatziki sauce, wrap bread, and a couple other amazing sauces. The green sauce at the counter is fantastic! It goes great with the fries! The baklava is so tasty too! Lots of people were taking their food to go, but we ate in the restaurant and had a nice evening. 10/10 recommend Also, super friendly and helpful! I ordered a gyro plate and a chicken shawarma plate to go for my husband. Both were delicious and the portions are large! The pita bread is probably some of the best I've had! We actually weren't planning on coming here, we saw the Philly cheese place next door 1st but as we walked up and saw it, we really wanted to try it. The man working was really helpful and kind. My husband and I haven't had a whole lot of Mediterranean food so he described a lot of the dishes to us and made sure we knew what was in the meals we ordered so that we would like everything. He even gave us recommendations of which sauces to grab for our particular dishes! I got the chicken shawarma protein bowl and my husband got the Chicken shawarma plate. Man was this some great food. The chicken was hot and well flavored. There's also this white cream stuff they put on the side. It was like a garlic flavor bomb I LOVED it. Navroz was OK. Super cute decor inside but a bit lackluster in the customer service department. Also the food just wasn't outstanding. I kept wishing we just went to Panini Kabob Grill. We came in and it was very cold right before Christmas. They had the doors open which made it unpleasant inside temp wise. The guy at the front was nice but not warm when asked for suggestions. We were the only ones in there for dinner. When the food came out it looked average for this type of food. The meat was decent. Spices on target. Rice was bland and could use some work. The bread was delicious but seemed more like a tortilla. I was confused about that. We ate in the location. While we were in there the manager/cashier kept taking personal calls. This was off putting. He eventually started walking outside for his calls but because the shop music was connected to his phone, the place would go dead silent when he left. All in all I support small businesses and hope this place does well. Because the cost is prohibitive we most likely will not be coming back but wish the best for them and hope they fix the things that were off. :) read more
