They moved the cardio upstairs and the weights downstairs which it seems they are doing in all the clubs now. I'm fine with it. My hope was that they would purchase some new cardio equipment which for the most part they didn't. This location also does not offer nearly enough classes which has driven me away to other clubs. The manager here is great and she does all she can with what she has to work with. The refresh looks good and the club is down the block from my house but unfortunately I spend very little time here. I saw one of the regional managers here not to long ago and he said new equipment is coming. I hope it is!

Please motivate me enough to kick me out of bed or off the sofa! Otherwise, I find it hard to heave-ho myself on to a treadmill. Torture. Can't. Won't. I need someone to tell me what to do (because I'm a lazy lug otherwise. Is three reps enough?) and make sure I do it properly. Better still if they can tell a joke or two while I'm sweating. But I'm also cheap. I have to strike a reasonable balance between needing motivation and needing to conserve cash-ola. That's why I like this place. Chris has done a great job of training me and my partner without killing our wallet. He's able to train us at the same time, adjusting exercises for my high cardio fitness and my partner's arthritic ankle, my knee injury and his upper body strength. We get a fast, hard workout that makes me feel strong, and improves my fitness. The location is great for us. Parking is easy. And Chris is a bright, fun, entertaining trainer who knows his stuff.

I have a knee replacement, so finding a trainer who truly understands the body was incredibly important to me. Nicky is the definition of a professional--passionate, knowledgeable, and highly experienced. From the moment we met, I knew I was in great hands. He worked on my knee in ways I never knew were possible while strengthening my entire body. Beyond the workouts themselves, it was the conversations, encouragement, and education between sets that made every session valuable. After just 12 sessions, the transformation was unbelievable. I feel stronger, more mobile, and more confident than I have in a long time. I've also dealt with chronic lower back pain for years. Halfway through our time together, my back started bothering me again. When I mentioned it to Nicky, his immediate response was, "We're going to work on that today." He completely adjusted that day's workout, focusing on targeted stretches and strengthening exercises for my lower back.
