As a Grandparents, it gives us a real peace of mind knowing my granddaughter is in safe, clean and fun environment while me and my wife workout. The staff- REI, MARIE, SHEYLA and NICOLE- truly go above and beyond. They are incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive with the kids. You can tell they genuinely care. They engage the children with activities, keep them entertained, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and included. What really stands out is their professionalism and positive energy. When we walk in, they greet us with a smile. They manage the kids so well, even during busy hours, and maintain a safe and organized environment. Our granddaughter actually looks forward to going, which makes our workouts stress-free and enjoyable. I ***INQUIRED*** and asked for process and what to expect and asked in detail how Murrieta gym could provide superior service over other EOS locations like Redlands and Winchester. The manager I talked to took it upon himself to go ahead and cancel my service contract with Redlands to free me to come to Murrieta ASAP. I didn't ask for that wrong move resulting in my 2nd ever negative gym review. Listen to your clients and observe their requests. Maybe I'll stop here to train but never for personal training. I really appreciate how much variety there is for different types of workouts. One of the biggest wins here is the kids' daycare/playground area, which has been a game-changer for my wife and me. Being able to work out together while our kid is safe and entertained is a major plus. That said, there are definitely some downsides that keep this from being a top-tier gym. Too many machines are either out of order or in rough shape, and it often takes weeks for them to get repaired--if at all. During my most recent workout today (6/21/25), I saw two machines still broken that were also down last month. It's frustrating to see that kind of upkeep issue in a gym this size. I haven't used the new upgraded "Pro Room" area yet, but when I checked it out, the strong rubber mat odor was overwhelming--not exactly a motivating vibe. In summary, Powerhouse Gym Murrieta has all the makings of a 5-star facility, but the inconsistent maintenance really holds it back. I expected that I would have to do a $20 week pass at the local gym or something similar. As I was looking on Apple Maps I saw NEWD gym near by. I had the pleasure of getting in contact with one of the owners, Cece. I explained my situation and without skipping a beat she kindly assisted me in a 3 day pass!!! She also offered to extend my pass for more than 3 days without paying!! What spoke to me most was, she trusted me immediately when explaining my situation. Handling the experience with 10/10 customer service. I highly recommend this gym. Staff training on their own policies is clearly nonexistent, and management doesn't care. Plenty of other gyms in the area that treat their members like people.
