Came to see a movie that started at 9, went out for popcorn at 10:15 and they had run out of popcorn! I totally get you have to shut down machines and the building. But I never expected they would start over an hour before the end of a movie! Very upset! read more

This is a very modern, clean and fresh movie theater. The picture is crisp and vivid and the sound is on point, also the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The reason behind my 3 star rating is that the movie was scheduled to begin on the hour, but they ran "tv commercials" for 6 minutes past the hour. Finally the previews started but to my utter disappointment they didn't lower the lights at all. When the movie itself began the lights promptly went down. The "instant" the Marvel movie I was watching ended and the credits started they turned the lights up even though there's at least one more theatrical ending still to come and I can barely see the screen because the lights are all the way up... smh read more

We really enjoy the Auburn, IN NCG Movie Theater. Very close to home. The Staff is nice. Theatre is always clean. They could lower the prices a tad bit. read more

The general manager wouldn't let us see our movie then proceeded to not give us a refund. just wasted 40 dollars

I've loved this place since I was probably 14 and able to ride my little motorcycle here and meetup with friends. Last night I took my wife there for a surprise, not only was there a line of 8 people and only one cashier while two employees wandered around doing nothing, but we ordered one of their pizza pretzels. I had their jack cheese pretzel before and was impressed... well this one was god awful nasty and basically tasted like stale bread dipped in old mashed tomatoes. It was horrible. But honestly, that's fine with me if I can get my money back - it's not necessarily their fault it could have been the manufacturer. But here's the kicker... I went after the movie to ask for a refund and the guy at the desk told me "well you already ate off it so I can't give you a refund. I won't be able to sell it again". I argued that no restaurant would ever re sell it anyways AND we literally took two bites, not like we ate the whole thing and then complained. But to top that off I told him "how am I supposed to return it because I don't like it if I don't taste it" and he told me "well I guess that's the risk you take". I get it, it's only a $5 pretzel but the way he handled it to a very very loyal customer really sucked. I threw it over the counter for him to up later when I walked out and he wasn't there. read more

GREAT THEATER!!!! Reasonably fair prices, especially considering how crazy theater prices are. The next closet theater is a Carmike about 15 minutes away & The Carmike prices are HORRIBLE!!!! The ticket prices are high & the concession prices are ridiculous. This NCG has great ticket prices & very reasonable concession prices. The only bad thing is they just changed their waters, they use to carry the large Dasani waters but now they carry some cheap small bottled water for the same price. But hey if the type of water they carry is the only bad thing I can find than I think they are doing pretty darn good. P.S. their salted pretzel with cheese is AWESOME!!! read more

I've never had an issue with this place, but my fiancé walked in and paid for his daughter and friend to see an R rated scary movie and then he left. Half way through the movie, the staff removed them and made them watch a boxing movie they didn't wanna watch. Me and my fiancé(the dad) went in and talked to a manager about what happened and he proceed to say that they needed to be 21 to watch the movie and then corrected himself that they needed to be 17. I asked why they didn't say anything when then we're walking in the movie alone and he said "we are low staffed" but in a theater with only a few people watching a movie, they were able to have someone walking in checking for underagers to kick them out. I asked if we could have a refund and the manager said since they watch another movie that we couldn't have a refund. I said they didn't even wanna watch the boxing movie. They're only 14 they don't know how to speak up and he proceeded to say he wasn't gonna give me a refund because of how I was acting. I did start getting mad and acting like a Karen, but rightfully so. read more

The theater, bathrooms, & food service are always spot on clean... The service is always very good. I've been to numerous premiers where hundreds of people get in line and are processed efficiently and quickly. The final compliment is that it's the most reasonably priced theater I've ever been to. Tickets to shows before 6pm are $6. Who else does that? And they're only $7 after 6. Yep you can go to a Fort Wayne theater, and see the same movie, and for 4 people pay about $25 more... but why? Almost forgot!!! They show a FREE MOVIE every week as a courtesy to the community. Again, who does that anymore. The price point, the cleanliness, and the courtesy to families in the community have made me a fan for life. Please don't change those 2 things NCG!!! read more

We brought our three year old grandson to see Toy Story 4 - told we would have to take his sippy cup back to the car because it was against policy . Ridiculous! Small children should be able to be accommodated. read more

The best movie theater EVER!!! We have been to dozens bur this one by far is the our favorite. Great projectors and sounds and they have memory foam seats!!! Unlimited refills on any size drinks and popcorn is awesome!!! They have the cleanest bathrooms. They also have a keurig like machine and they make fancy coffee now, the only thing i would improve on is get real creamer for coffee. read more

Very bad service! June 23 2018. No one was working the ticket check at entrance to the theaters hallway at 720 and at 730 theater 2 was being cleaned so so a group of us - multiple customers and families - walked into the hallway and quietly lined up to wait. At 735 the employee who evidently was supposed to be at ticket check counter came into the hallway and announced that the approximately 12 customers needed to exit the hallway and go back to the lobby and lineup there until theater was cleaned. "Behind the ropes" we were reminded twice. The team leader or female manager behind the counter was not involved but wasn't paying attention. 4-5 min later we were then let in. The procedure was poor, unnecessary to do that for 5 min, and if it was truly important for safety or per policy the employees should have been performing their tasks on time. read more

This is the perfect small town theater, with 8 screens, stadium seating, and since it is a fairly new facility, all-digital projectors. It is somewhat unique in the fact that you buy your ticket and concessions together, which makes the lines look long. The lines move quickly however, and there are free refills on all drinks and popcorn. You can get your own drinks and refills, and add your own butter to the popcorn, which is always fresh and tastes exactly the way you expect movie popcorn to be. read more
