I have very fond memories of Chuck E Cheese as a child and I was very excited to be able to bring my kids here. A lot has changed from the time I was a child to now, it's still very fun and exciting for kids. This location is never overly busy and the store is very clean. The way it works is you can pay for time or tokens. We usually stick to tokens because my kids are 5 and 1 and they aren't as fast. I love that they have a section for toddlers with moving miniature cars. They even have the classic Chuck E. Cheese car that takes your photo. This feels so nostalgic. Somewhere I have a photo in a car similar to this. They also have lots of arcade games for older kids as well. Including classic favorites like Mario cart, basketball and bocce ball. For entertainment things have changed a lot since covid and I think overall it's for the better. They no longer have a stage with puppets or a performance. Instead they play kid bops on the big screen and occasionally do countdowns for a in person appearance from Chuck E. He comes out and greets the kids. For birthdays he interacts with the birthday kids. I think they make birthdays very special from what I can see. During Halloween they had festive music with special halloween shows playing. They have a dance floor that moves according to movement and our kids really love dancing on it. Recently they added a new feature of a trampoline section. My son loved it but I didn't really care for the set up. It cost extra to get socks and use the trampoline and you have to constantly look for an employee to monitor the area. I will say they keep people out that haven't paid which reduces the chance of it getting crowded. For food they have a few basic options including pizza and wings. They also have a salad bar that I really enjoy. They have fountain soda. If you buy a special cup you can use it every-time you come and we sure do. They also have beer and wine for adults. For desert they do sale cakes for birthdays but they also have dipping dots, cotton candy (I've never seen it on) and other select icecream bars and sandwiches. If your child is sick with the flu.... Bring them anyways. Infect the entire place. Because we did the right thing and we canceled. We were told we had till May to rebook a party. The store manager will not accommodate declined it completely so really they just took our money. I do not suggest for a birthday party. And $25 for 30 minutes on a Sunday. We have come here several times. We have come and it is super empty so the staff is few and far between. We enjoy the fact that it isn't usually busy unless there is a birthday or field trip. There is also someone working on a game to fix it. The place is pretty clean. The games are mostly automated so no need to drop in a coin. We have become frequent visitors of Chuck E Cheese. I remember the days where they had ball pits! Chuck E Cheese himself looks a bit healthier nowadays! Jokes aside- they have amazing pizza! It's not thin but it's not thick either. They put a yummy butter garlic sauce on the crust and there is always a great ratio of cheese to sauce to other toppings. I have a 3 and 4 year old and they love the trampoline addition. We had my three year olds birthday party here and we had 15 kids, added an adult pizza, did the higher package with goodie bags, and ice cream, and added on the trampoline. To me, this wasn't a bad deal. To have it at a park and have to entertain and be in the heat- it definitely would've cost more! The games are usually working without issue. They've also recently remodeled which makes it look much more spacious. The employees as a whole aren't extremely friendly, but they're nice enough. There is one man who I assume is a manager who is very talkative and extremely nice. Their summer passes are the best deal! I truly believe this place is great for kids and adults alike if you just want some good food, a fun family environment and your regular arcade like games. read more

BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!! My son had his 5th birthday party there today and it was a MAJOR hit for everyone. Yes, even the adults loved it and raved about it! Planning online was so easy and being able to edit our party package and RSVP count up until the day before was so convenient. For the price, the value was great. We did the Mega Super Star package which had unlimited play for the duration of the party and the kids were thrilled. It was plenty of play time. About half way through, we stopped to eat pizza and cake (which we brought in). They did the singing then and ticket blaster followed by more free time to play. It was clean. The machines were working well. The food was good and Dippin Dots were a huge hit. Our party coordinator, Renata, was spectacular! She was so thorough and on top of everything. Book your party here! Food quality to price is terrible. A personal size pizza about 6" in diameter was $10. Tables were dirty. They didn't stamp the kids and parents hands like they normally do. The place seems severely understaffed. Everything is Token based, you buy a prepaid card and you have to swipe the card at every game. When you go to redeem your tickets, they were out of most of the stuff that's affordable. There is no playground so be prepared to spend a lot of cash if you want to keep your kids entertained. We were there for about two hours and the rat never came out to sing happy birthday. The only rats in this place are probably in the kitchen. read more

The service here is awful! Every time we visit this location and walk through the doors we are greeted by NO ONE. We have to go and find someone in order to pay. Then after we are done playing and want to order food, we have to search around for someone that works there. Then after finishing eating and wanted to get some prizes for the kids, we then again, have to find someone to help us with that as well. Why is no one ever at the counter or around the counter, kitchen area??? That is so bizarre to me! It's annoying and stressful with two young children when we are trying to have a good time. This petri dish will work your immune system over! Being exposed to so many germs in one place at one time made me feel like I was getting over the worse flu the next morning. Where are the shows?! Where are the animatronics?! Where the heck is the Chuck E Cheese? Didn't see any of these things that I was expecting. Despite how crowded it usually is, the staff does a good job at managing everyone. We were seated pretty quickly and it did not take a long time for the pizza to come out. They do offer salads and sandwiches, but the coupon brought was for a large pizza. The game area is divided into two sections, young kids and older kids. The young kids area have more rides and simple games. The older kids area have the more traditional arcade games. You'll probably find more adults playing here. If you want to bring a group of kids somewhere (I usually have visiting family from out of town with kids), you can't go wrong bring them here. This is a location that is very clean and has a large selections of games. The games seem to be rotated frequently as there are always a good selection of new games to play. The food is also pretty good. The pizza is as good as other national chains, but the wings are above average. This location does use the new play cards. I'm not sure where another reviewer got that the games cost $1-$2 under the new program. Maybe just difficulty is figuring it out. The program works just like the tokens. You get 1 credit for twenty-five cents. Most games cost 1 credit, while a couple take two. This would make the games twenty-five or fifty cents each. We always use the 100 credits for $20, so we pay twenty cents per credit. Overall this is a great corporate location (CEC only has a very few franchise locations left from the eighties). We had my son's birthday party on a Sunday morning. They employee assigned to his party was wonderful. I believe her name was Deanna. She was on top of everything, and made his party very stress free. There are helpful coupons on their website for this location as well as the emails. I've only been to this Chuck E. Cheese a few times but it is very appealing outside and in. Very modern interior great games and activities for the kids. The food once again no complaints, also they have a good menu selection not just pizza which is fantastic for the parents. They also have free WiFi helps the parents past time. But there is a downside for me anyway and that is everytime I have been there I get really sick after not from the food but the germs they keep the floors and tables clean but they must not clean anything else such as the games. Now I would give this place 4 stars for the food and everything else but I would give them ZERO stars if I could on the games/machines if I could. Stay VERY VERY clear of the Chuck E Cheese in Melbourne!!!!! This photo was taken 1 day after we booked a party for Grant and shared on Facebook-we went into the location in person to speak with a manager about a cancellation (half of the moms of the kids coming saw the photo and there was no way they were coming!). We met with manager Kevin who apologized and said that since we booked thru the 800#, we had to cancel thru there-but they would call him to verify the cancellation and he would approve it. Since then the customer support team has left 2 vm for Kevin with NO response. The most recent call (tonight) we dealt with a very rude lady and she refused to help any further!!! Seeing as how he is obviously not a man of his word, I will be one of mine. This Chuck E Cheese location is way better than it used to be. The food has been improved and is actually very good. I go there often and see the same employees who are always kind and helpful. They are new games. Sometimes we have tokens taken off our card and the game doesn't start but the staff is always quick to help. I'm very happy with our experiences here. We met friends for a goodbye lunch, and were not disappointed. We arrived at 11:30 a.m. and the place was not yet busy for lunch. All of the games and machines worked well and were functioning properly. The restaurant was clean and organized, the staff was friendly and helpful. We used an online coupon to get extra tokens with our meal deal. The meal that we chose came with 80 tokens and with an online coupon that we were directed to by one of the employees, we received an additional 20 tokens. We orderd drinks and a large cheese pizza. All of the soda choices were functioning well and tasted good, and our pizza was made to order very hot, very fresh, with loads of cheese. Due to the safe atmosphere and excellent employees, we had no problem letting our 10 year old daughters is run free (monitored of course) and play with all of the games and attractions. The restrooms were clean and in good working order, well maintained. The children won tickets from every game that they played, and my daughter actually hit two jackpots, worth 75 tickets each! This really made her day. When it was time for us to go, the children put their tickets into the ticket counter which was working very well, we got our receipts, and then went to the redemption area for the girls to choose their prizes. My daughter has the Chuck E Cheese app on her tablet, and had earned 560 tickets on the app playing at home, which were added to the actual paper tickets she was awarded at the restaurant. Please note, you need wifi or internet access at the restaurant to redeem the tickets earned online. You click "get my tickets" , and then they mail you voucher to your email which you in turn give to the employee at the desk. Going to a restaurant like Chuck E cheese adults are well aware that the purpose of Chuck E Cheese is for the children to have a great time, that is why this restaurant gets five stars from me. As adults, we do not expect caviar and ambiance. I rated it based on its purpose. The children were extremely happy and had a great time, the adults joined in the game playing occasionally, and were able to sit and talk and enjoy conversation with each other and not have to worry about the type of atmosphere we were in. Is it more pricy than going to your local pizza place. yes.. is it loud and full of laughing kids and adults having fun .. yes. My wife and I went today for the first time in over 16years for me and a little more for her . The pizza is billed as new freshly made to , nothing frozen anymore and it tasted fine to me. It was hot and fresh and tasty. The salad bar was well stocked and chilled to perfection with fresh crisp veggies and dressings . No its not a budget trip out for pizza , but for the $30 for the two of us we ate till we were full and then some drank all the pepsi maxx we wanted and played games for over 2 hours . It was well worth the time and money to me. The place was very clean , the employees were on top of things very attentive and friendly . The layout is quite inviting and open , very bright inside. Not like the ones I went to in my teens and twenties back in California. I am looking forward to going back in a month or so for more fun. read more

We booked a party for my girlfriend's daughters 6 birthday. It was a horrible for the minute we arrived. We were seated at a long table with chairs which was a comfortable set up. The party package which was $12.99 per child with a minimum of 10 children and with that you received the table & setups for 2 hours, 2 pieces of pizza & a drink per child plus tokens, etc. The waitress or party person was not very helpful right from the beginning help us get the orders in for the kids & the additional orders for the adults which are not included. It was a full 45 minutes before food arrived. Then it was a rush to deal with the big rat & then at the 75 minute mark, the waitress/party person started moving us from the table to 4 booths that were very uncomfortable especially for the grandparents in the group. Party goers started leaving early as there was no where to sit. I feel that this place is very deceptive. If they tell you 2 hours, then it should be 2 hours or they should at least tell you that 75 minutes in they have to move you. As fo everything else, it is very very noisy. I could not hear several of the guests during conversation.I felt that the party itself was very fragmented in comparison to a party held in our home or at our clubhouse. Kid & parents were everywhere & a few times we had to go try & find everyone to cut the cake & open the presents. On a positive note, the pizza was actually pretty good. Much better than I expected. Free drink refills were nice & if you want to just play games, it is not a bad arcade but as for parties, the place really was lousy on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
