Nice theater as are most NCG Cinemas. I was greeted when I walked in and had great customer service throughout. Went to a matinee so I think I paid around $6 then got a combo deal they were having that day...large popcorn and large drink for a fraction of what it normally cost. I couldn't finish the popcorn nor the drink...it was just too much. The seats are reclining and have a manual lever that you have to use to get it going. Overall, very good experience.. Omg this place!!! There is not a ticket booth so you must go up to the concession to buy a ticket, odd. The popcorn is stale. I ordered a hotdog that was put in the microwave wrapped in plastic mmm cancer. The exit and entrance lines are the same so that was a big cluster f$&@ The movie was scheduled to start at 7 but at 6:40 the theatre was pitch black people were stumbling and dropping things trying to find seats. This theatre is clearly a mom and papa ain't got a clue business. I'll drive the extra 15 min to go to a real theatre. read more

This is about 25 minutes away from my house but worth the drive for me. Here's why. Every theater has reclining seats that are really comfortable. It's clean. The staff is really friendly and great. It's never crowded. I've gone during the day on weekends and it's been great. Tickets are cheap. For a matinee (shows before 6), tickets are $6. Regular price is $8. Compared with some other theaters I go to sometimes, where matinees are $11.50 and that price stops at 2pm, this is a bargain. read more

the seats are reclining but squeak a lot. Also they aren't not AUTOMATIC reclining seats like AMC theaters. The seats are also not soft like AMC either Popcorn was really good compared to AMC but the buttering station is not clean at all Restroom was really clean They only have 5 theaters so options are less When you walk in it's confusing there is not a sign where you can buy your tickets. It is just assumed you go to the food station just to get to tickets. Water bottles were expensive like any movie theater but they weren't even a brand water bottle, generic stuff. My friend and I saw a movie Friday night and she accidentally left her wallet there. We were the last ones in the theater and when she went back as soon as they opened the next morning it wasn't turned in or in the theater. The wallet has two parts a big part and a small part and when she went back the small part was there with her license, debit card, pink card, and all of her receipts crammed in there as well which they were not before. So an employee of NCG stole the big part of the wallet. The night of the same day she went I went with her to talk to the manger and she was very in cooperative and being very rude. She was being smart with us when we were asking her questions and to which she never answered, and then essentially told us we were out of luck and not helping. Would not recommend to go again if the employees are stealing and rude towards a customer asking questions read more

I must say that I've never had any complaints at this theater. You would think that due to the location that it is super small; but on the contrary, it is actually very spacious! They have la-z-boy style chairs, really affordable tickets, and a really good concession stand. The atmosphere is one the best I've experienced in a movie theater. Everyone is friendly, and the patrons are respectful during the showings. The bathrooms are large and clean, and the waiting area is pretty spacious considering the location. They're actually pretty popular and usually busy; so, I would suggest getting your tickets ahead of time on their website or by using Fandango if you want to skip the line and ensure that the movie won't sell out (especially if it is a new release). Typically ticket prices are: Matinee - $6 Adult - $8 Student w/valid student ID - $6 Senior (55+) - $6 Child (12 and under) - $6 In addition to getting endless free refills on drinks and popcorn, they have a $2 promotion every Tuesday! $2 off any combo and all day tickets are $5! Sadly, since the first review I left, things have gone downhill. I'm going to be specific, as I have told their management about this and I really hope someone reads this and fixes these issues. My husband and I are avid movie goers. We buy our NCG movie tix online prior to the movies that night, & really look forward to seeing the shows. The last 3 times we've been, we experienced all of the following: the movies have been rated 'R' and children have been alone, unaccompanied by adults, and have been VERY LOUD. I get very aggravated when people talk during movies but these instances were enough for me to remember them in detail & post this review. The kids were sitting in front of us the first time.... laughing, using their cell phones during the movie, and throwing popcorn. I had to ask them to please quiet down. It was unacceptable. Last night, we saw 'Ghost in the shell' and there were so many kids in the theatre but 3 in particular were sitting in the very back and were VERY loud. I had a bad feeling about them due to the fact the theatre was packed. Sure enough, someone in front of them became super angry at them and they started a verbal cursing match DURING THE MOVIE. I got up & reported it. I just don't have the patience, nor do I want something insane happening due to kids being loud & some adult deciding to cuss them out. (Ridiculous) Lastly, the bathrooms, theaters, floors... they're so dirty. When we first started going the upkeep was great but now it's barely maintained. Advice to management: please....PLEASE check ID's of anyone who looks too young to see R rated or NC-17 movies. They rate them for a reason. Also, please let your staff know that standing around doing nothing tells me they have no direction and if they did, the bathrooms would be clean. They aren't even hygienic. I don't want this location to close. We love it.... just get your **** together. Thanks. read more

Bathrooms very nasty and customer service does not exist. Went to see the movie Bad Boys and the movie cut off half way through. Instead of the manager trouble shooting we where told we need to leave the building and we could call back tomorrow. No apology what so ever. Wen the movie went off we could not find the manager she was outside packed up and ready to leave. She first lied and said the power went off. But we could still hear audio from the movie and all the lights where still on. Very unprofessional. No refund for movie or food items. Called back the next day and the manager never offered an apology instead cut me off stated they where aware and we could have a rain check read more

This place is great!! The reclining seats made this my first choice for movie watching today (saw Get Out, which was awesome). The prices are great too... 2 tickets, large popcorn and 2 frozen drinks for less than $30; I spend almost twice that at my regular theater (they do serve more than popcorn and candy to be fair). The customer service is good and it's meant to be efficient; you can purchase your tickets and snacks at the same register. They just didn't have enough people working today; the line was extremely long, but only 2 people were working the register/concessions and there were others just standing around talking. I personally had a very bad experience with the staff at this particular location. I had to speak to 3 different managers regarding my wallet that could've possibly been stolen by an employee or someone from their "night crew". They refused to try and look at the footage from that night which was fine but one of the managers I spoke to was very sarcastic and rude. Basically no one showed the least amount of Interest in trying to help me or even bother to tell me there wasn't anything they could do without being extremely rude. It also seemed very sketchy that all 3 different managers told me very different things regarding their protocol with situations like this. read more

The clientele ruin this theater. I have never, not one time, been to a show where there weren't people chatting amongst themselves at full volume, and the theater staff is unwilling to do anything other than refund your ticket. I mean, adults that should know better talk LOUDLY the entire time, every time. The theater itself is nice. Good prices and comfortable reclining leather seats. Is that worth it, though? NCG Stone Mountain is the nearest theater to my home, so I come quite often. I like the cheap ticket prices, and my wife likes the reclining chairs reminiscent of a La-Z-Boy. It is a fairly small theater with six different screens, I believe. They pretty much have the popular new releases that the general public wants to see. The screens are a good size (not too small), and every different screen / room (theater?) has wide pleather seats that recline. The seats don't feel particularly clean or high-end, and the odd one won't recline or retract, but it is nice to lie back while watching a movie. Don't misunderstand - the seats aren't dirty or old - they just feel a bit cheaper than the cloth covered seats of other theaters. I love a bargain, and this NCG offers matinee prices ($6) before 4pm and $6 tickets all day every Tuesday. The staff is mostly young (high school students?), and they have always been kind and friendly. Because it is a smaller theater, it doesn't get overly crowded, though popular new releases will sell out on their opening weekends. Overall, it is a nice, cozy local theater. read more

Good price on tix. Matinee are six dollars and the later shows are 7-8 dollars. Concessions are also reasonable on the price and this is from a guy who sneaks in his snacks. The seats are the recliner style so it is pretty comfy. The only complaint that I have is that I bought my tickets on fandango. I didn't have my confirmation number, my phone was also dead. Usually you just show your id and credit card but they said they showed no order though it had already been drafted out of my account. I just bought tickets and disputed the charges. I'd go again but will buy my tickets on site. read more

I have no complaints!!! Honestly this is the only COMFORTABLE and CHEAP movie theater I've been to. The theaters are small so there really is no bad seat or super huge crowds. The food is good and they have a nice variety. The seats are super comfy!! They try and pick the best movies available at the time, so they may not have a super huge selection. What they have tho, is great and current. Great sound and quality too! I'm a happy customer! You won't be disappointed. read more

This place is extraordinary. I say this, not just because of the clean atmosphere and those big, beautiful, comfy chairs, but because of the honesty of the staff. Twice, I've had teens in my group, one being my son, leave their phones in the theater, and twice, I got them back. You know the life of a teen hangs in the balance without their phones, and thanks to NCG and their staff, my teens' lives went on without missing a phone beat. Great deals on Tuesdays. read more

They just reopened this place and it's pretty nice. The seats are like recliner type seats. The drinks and popcorn all have free refills regardless of size. Place was clean as staff was very friendly. Will definitely go here again. read more

I have been coming here for almost a year and I am hooked! The admission prices are great and even the concessions are reasonably priced. The seats are oversized and recline and are extremely comfortable. The only thing I don't like is that it is a small location so you have to be on time to get a good seat. I wish they would open up a bigger location but this is definitely my favorite theater read more

I went to the Peachtree Corner location. It was great!!! I wish they had one closer to us , but if they did the other theaters would go out of business. This is the best movie going experience I've had ever. The unlimited refills sold my husband and the $8 Saturday night new release tickets sold me. A small popcorn and drink with free refills was only $7.50! The comfy seats and excellent surround sound was the sprinkles and cherry on top. They also offer movies durning the day with the lights on and lower sound for those with sensory challenges. They can even make noise. I thought that was an awesome initiative. FYI: if you are cold natured bring a little throw or blanket. The theater gets pretty cold. It's great with the reclining seats. read more

We just went an saw American sniper the other night here. I haven't been since high school which is quite a while. They did a really good job of updating the theater inside. Brand new seats and all. It also was cheaper than others in the area. I will be back. Great experience with a friendly staff. Oh yeah and the movie was great. It should have been named American Hero! read more

It's not Phipps Plaza with the recliners but they do a good job coming close. Movie prices are usually cheaper than AMC and it's 10 minutes from my house. It is pretty clean most times. I wish they had a IMAX. read more

Wow! I remember the days when this was a dollar theatre. I also remember the lengthy time it was closed and the swift coming and going of theatres here. I had never heard of NCG before, and I assumed they'd be gone in a year just like the others. This place is awesome though! I am very impressed. This is one of the best movie theatres I've been to because it's small...like buried in a strip-mall small. There's limited seating in each auditorium, about 50 seats. The first-come seats are large, reclining plush chairs. The service is good and the snack area staff is efficient. If you want to avoid large crowds and see a first-run movie in a family friendly environment, this is your spot. read more

Second time here and it wasn't a pleasant experience. When purchasing ticket I requested a cup for water and a popcorn(tad dull). The attendant indicated that whether I get a cup or a bottled water it would be $2.50. After debating, I opted for the bottled. I can at least recycle the bottle. I also noted that the same problem existed today as did last time. Both had fairly loud a/c units and doors that didn't close quietly. That said a matinee is only $6 and standard is $8. This place is amazing. The quality of the movies along with the ridiculously comfortable seating is top notch. The pricing is the best. They have matinee, senior, and student discounts. They also slow refills on popcorn and beverages. They also offer various seasoning beyond butter and salt for your popcorn. The staff is very customer service oriented. I took my daughter to see Annie and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. I loved the reclining theater seats, the free refills on sodas and popcorn any size, and the price was very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and are happy to help. By far an upgrade from any of the local theaters in the area. I only wished they showed more movies, but if they are showing the movie I want to see this will be my first choice. read more

Perfect date night! Especially on Tuesday, spending less then $20 on everything for two people , rather then over $22 at regular movie theaters just on tickets. I love the lights inside too! The only thing is the staff... I was expecting nicer and more inviting attitudes rather then people who look like the didn't want to be there. read more
