The entire staff was amazing--from day one they made sure I had all the information I needed, and they were super helpful in checking in after the procedure to make sure I was doing well. Dr. Cavaretta really listened to my concerns, and because I was anxious, we chose to go the anesthesia route. Lizette and George (the day-of care team) were fantastic and made me feel completely at ease throughout. I was in and out quickly and am already anticipating a smooth recovery. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is--I'm definitely coming back here!

Dr. Flury at Carus is in my grandson's network, however the oral surgeon is not but evidently they were not clear or didn't relay the information to my grandson that the oral surgeon is NOT in network. So we got stuck with a large bill. Granted we did not confirm but why would they automatically schedule him with someone who is not in network. Glad they have shutdown the Westlake office. No way will we follow Dr. Flury and Dr. Karakourtis to another location.

I received a text and email to fill out digital paperwork. I also received reminders as it got close to my appointment date. When I went into the office I was greeted by a friendly office manager. She checked me in. I was then called to go to the cleaning chair by a temporary hygienist. She was great. She explained everything to me as we went along. She took X-rays and then told me the doctor who would come in to check the status of my teeth and gums and then move on to the cleaning. The dentist explained to me what needed to be done. She had the office manager check with my insurance and then they brought a quote of the price to sign for what I needed done. Nothing was done without my knowledge. I signed the paperwork and the cleaning began. When cleaning she noticed an issue with my enamel on a tooth and told me she could fix it. I asked about cost and if I needed to schedule a separate appointment. The office manager checked with my insurance again and gave me the quote. I agreed and they were able to fix my issue. Someone else would take over the practice, but a dental "hat trick" of finding three good family dentists in a row wasn't likely. Enter, Dr. Aldo Ronci. Ronci looks to be younger and therefore perhaps less experienced than he actually is. (I even asked him how old he was - if he was irked by such an intrusive question he was mature enough to conceal it.) I was happy that he didn't rush the visit, and showed genuine concern, not only about my teeth, but pocketbook too. Ronci's dental chair is extremely cushy. I don't know much else about dental equipment other than his looked advanced enough to do everything but cook dinner. Dentistry has come a long way since days of yore when dental drills were only slightly less jarring than a jack hammer. More importantly, I found Dr. Ronci's work to be meticulous and very nearly pain-free. He even managed to tame my dread of the Novocain needle (assisted by hygienist Denise's calming hand-pats). The front desk is manned by Cynthia and Lei, who greet each of the patients like the friends we have become.

Our daughter had her pallet expanded and braces. My wife always took her to the appointments, so I didn't experience the office or Dr. Kunik then. The bill isn't cheap. The work is excellent. My daughter's teeth looked great and corrected what generations before her have struggled with. Then it was my turn. I finally listened to my dentist to go get Invisalign. Dr. Kunik is friendly and genteel. He's not just an orthodontist, he's an artist. You can see him envisioning your teeth moving and what has to be done to coax them into place. Then he recites an alpha numeric soup of instructions for the nurse to jot down and he's on his way. The staff is super sweet. I don't worry about who I'm sitting down with because they're all very capable. It's a mellow atmosphere and appears everyone is happy working there. I've never been frustrated by the office. On the contrary, I'm the one that's showed up late because I got the time wrong (twice) and they didn't skip a beat.
