Once it arrived, the staff's coordination was seamless, and they got me in the next week due to a cancellation (schedule early as I know why people wait to see him!). The environment is welcoming, friendly and the staff is superb! Brenda, Andrea, Tiffany, Stephanie are just a few of the people that I adore in his office. Dr. Pacheco is magical. He is intelligent, funny and has a state of the art practice. I recently had braces put on at the crazy age of 48. He had his staff coordinate my ortho appointments so I could get my teeth cleaned in between bracket changes. I had a weird nerve sensation that was super painful in my mouth after a bracket/chain change and he got me in instantly, reviewed the issue and gave me what I needed to feel better. Considering he is a successful and busy practice, he will NEVER leave a patient hanging. From my 84 year old father to my assistant, to my husband, etc.; we feel special and like family. When I called to set the appointment I made it for the same day for me and my wife since we only have 1 car. The week of our appointments they cancelled both of our appointments and scheduled us on separate days in the future. I called back and told them again we need to go together. They told me it be months out in order for them to schedule it that way. Then I received a call back saying that they will forward my information to another dentist if needed. For myself, one of the dentists recommended I have an old filling replaced. I agreed because it was silver, even though nothing was wrong with it. He did the filling wrong, and my tooth was sore for weeks after. The first time I went back, they said nothing was wrong with it. The next time, I ended up having to spend another hour and a half while he replaced the whole thing again. So I ended up being there 3 times over a few weeks for something unnecessary. The next issue that we had was with the other dentist at the practice, who did a few fillings for our son. After paying for all of these, a year and a half later they have all fallen out and we are with a pediatric dentist who has to put caps on all three teeth. This was completely preventable, and we have learned that pediatric fillings should last a minimum 5-10 years. We have communicated with the office about this, but no resolution has ever been made. Overall I'm sure this is a great practice, but I wouldn't send your kids here if you're considering it- go to a specialist! I wish I had known this before wasting money!

He numbed me up--slowly and painlessly! He then loosened the tooth--using a slow, careful rocking notion. When the tooth was completely loosened and unmoored from its dock, like a mussel, he lifted it out--painlessly, and without the drama of my previous extraction! I had no pain last night and I have no pain today! But wait! There's More! Piling on the Potential for Pain and Drama at the Dentist! I also got a crown removed and a temporary crown installed yesterday, on the #3 molar, next door to #2 extraction. This was done before the extraction, to keep the blood and gut potential out of the vacuum, as nature abhors a vacuum!there was the usual loud banging drilling pushing and pulling.then pushing tapping on typewriters ribbon, then more drilling to place the temporary crown that fit perfectly. I thought perhaps it was the anesthesia that kept me from ever feeling the temporary. But no, I don't even notice it today. So that's two potentially very painful dental procedures, done painlessly. As a dental patient, That is everything I could ask for! Dr. Shelton has been my dentist for 30 years. He listens and he is kind and caring. I also think his pricing is very fair and reasonable. Dental care could be, should be less in a just world. But I believe the technology that has made once painful and imprecise dental, painless and perfect is Worth It!

Scheduling was a breeze - you can schedule appointments online and view all appointments that are available. You can also complete new patient paperwork and the health history paperwork online as well. They run your insurance before you get there and confirm that everything has gone through. The location is very easy to find and the staff is incredibly friendly and easy going. The office is very warm and inviting. They play relaxing music and even have blankets for you to to wear during your appointment, which is great for comfort, if you get cold, or if you just want some extra weight. They also have a Playstation Vue in the examination room which is nice to pass the time while you are waiting for the dentist to come in. They use the blood pressure wrist cuffs which I prefer - I think that it provides a much more relaxed experience for everyone. After a basic cleaning, you can schedule your next appointment, which I appreciate. I always lose track of the months and sometimes misplace the postcard appointment reminders that some dentists send out. Dr. Cantu is so friendly and easy going. It was actually a pleasure having him go over my x-rays, clean my teeth, and talk to him about my oral hygiene and dental health.
