I previously had a terrible experience going to another dental office in Austin, so I was very selective when finding another office in the area. After a few visits at Blue Sky, I can say that Dr. Rightmer and her assistant do a great job with making me feel comfortable and educated in regards to teeth health. The office is clean, nicely decorated, and the front staff is always kind and fun to talk to! It is also big bonus watching Netflix when getting a cleaning! I had some teeth sensitivity after getting a filling so Dr. Rightmer worked with me and we redid the filling and now I do not have any teeth sensitivity! Glad I can chew gum and floss without wincing of pain. It did take a few months to get me scheduled for my cleaning, but after I was scheduled I could easily get appointments. They are closed Friday-Sunday so you can count of Blue sky dental to be there Monday-Thursdays 8:30 am- 4:30 pm!

She is honest, and caring and kind and personable. I look forward to have my treatment plan done by her and I despise the dentist! Also, the office is comfortable and quiet which is the complete opposite of the other office I visited which was loud and chaotic.

She kept calling me "honey" in a condescending tone and said she was "surprised" my x-rays looked so good after waiting so long to visit a dentist. Was asked multiple times about Invisalign, braces and other cosmetics that I had already said I wasn't interested in. I was really getting the hard sell at this point. She checked my gums and said they were in need of some TLC but nothing severe. She said it would be best to break up the cleaning into a 2-part visit. I asked what that would cost and she said she'd have the billing specialist work out the plan. The dentist came in, looked at my teeth for maybe 2 minutes then said i would need a cleaning (the whole reason for my visit) and agreed it would require 2 more visits. She then said I needed to watch some video about gum disease from the 1990's and left. The billing specialist then walked me through a multi-visit plan costing upwards of 600-1000 a visit! Then gave me a bill for 300 for that visit where i received no cleaning at all and only had x-rays taken.   It was a complete scam, zero patient care, total hard-sell on cosmetics and dr. doyle clearly only cares about making money and not the health of the patients. I left sobbing and feeling less then human. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

The weird thing about Circle C Dental is, however, that not once in the handful of years that I've been a patient here has the dentist, either Dr. Pham or the new doctor who took over, Dr. Mulgrew, done the oral cancer check that I'd always automatically received at the previous practices I had been a patient of. You know, the one where the dentist feels around your neck and jaw line, holds your tongue with gauze and looks all around it and in your mouth? I visited six specialists (2 dentists, 2 prosthodontists, 1 periodontist, and 1 endodontist) for additional work I needed after my orthodontia was complete. Each one asked, "who did your ortho work?" and made a point of commenting on the outstanding job that had been done on my teeth and bite. But, if a great orthodontist deserves five stars, how do you distinguish someone like Jonathan Kimes? He's from a bygone era when your healthcare provider saw you as a person, not as a set of billable procedures. This was not the 9:00-4:00, three-and-a-half-days-a-week, my-assistant-will-do-all-the-work experience I've come to expect from the dental profession. Dr. Kimes is a perfectionist that went well beyond our originally prescribed treatment plan to make sure every issue I encountered was addressed...and many of those issues were areas where my other providers fell short and Dr. Kimes took it upon himself to pick up the slack! I need to petition Yelp! for a sixth star!

When it was time for braces, we visited a few ortho offices for estimates and evaluation. Not one suggested partial braces. Except Dr Kimes - he suggested braces on the 6 front upper teeth and 8 braces on the bottom. He said he had a great success in similar cases, but there is never guarantee if other teeth might shift during her process and we may need to have a full set of braces after all. Her bite was perfect, she had a few teeth that needed repositioning, so we were excited for less braces and obviously a smaller bill. In 7 months she had a perfect smile! We never needed a full mouth of braces. I could have not asked for a better orthodontist and this entire office for my daughter. They are easy with scheduling and very professional. My daughter was actually looking forward to her visits. Highly recommend!

I like getting my cleanings because the hygienists are always really nice and the let you watch Netflix while they work (the TVs pull out to be over you and they give you the remote). There was a literal big screen tv showing a YouTube video of a 3rd world grandmother butchering a lamb...blood and all. When pointed out and explained how uncomfortable it made me, the dentist proceeded to laugh it off and then do nothing to fix it. She then proceeded to tell me that she was happy because that day was "her Friday". If a medical professional ever says that. Leave. After she injected my gums with zero warning and I start crying in the chair and ask why she didn't warn me she said "that's how I prefer it" then the dentist proceeded to sarcastically take her time "babying" me and proceeded to ask In the most condescending manner "is that betterrrr". After I couldn't take the pain and discomfort I was left sitting there crying waiting for the numbing to work. She came in 10-15 minutes later and said, continuing the condescending tone, "are you done being mad at us" After all of this they call me 30 minutes later to tell me I had a filling approved by the va "finally" and need to come back in for another appointment. 6 months later I come back thinking it's a different one. It's not. Still give it a try...the videos are the same. I start crying because of how triggering the images were to my experience and ask politely for the tv to be shut off and the assistant working an X-ray machine told me, she, "doesn't know how to work the tv and needs the doctors help working a tv. I left before the dentist could get to me, so they very well could have switched dentists but the fact they were still showing the same videos made it seem like it was going to be the same traumatic experience as last time.
