This casual diner had really really good food! I got a steak and cheese omelette, and love that they have options of black beans (instead of potato) and crepe (instead of toast) as sides. I was trying to be healthy but the crepe was so so good with the buttered strawberry creme cheese. That alone makes me want to come back haha Parking is super easy here, and there was no wait to get a table inside. Service was also quite fast and the staff were friendly.

Great breakfast, for a good price!

Yummy Crepes with Cottage cheese are the best. My favorite!! They were super busy today. As busy as they were, they handled it well. It was very loud and busy, and I was outside. I enjoy sitting outside, it's very enjoyable.

Absolutely love the beef stroganoff it's the second time ordering it and this time I got two biscuits and brown gravy excited to get my food I DoorDashed them ! Love the pecan pie so this time I went with the garden salad with ranch dressing. Completely bummed they forgot my two biscuits and cup of gravy and door dash wouldn't refund me or help at all ! I don't want this to ruin my experience with Neil's Café because I like the place. Neil went way out of his way to make things right for me and I appreciate that I will be dining in this time !

Wonderful coffee shop with good food and great customer service. I came early on a weekend morning and didn't have to wait in line but it was full and people were waiting when I left. Lots of tables inside as well as a few tables outside as well. There are bobbleheads that line the kitchen and a very large, signed Buster Posey jersey on the wall. As a Giants fan, I approve all the decor! In terms of the food, they have a really large selection of breakfast and diner food. Good kids menu too. The waitress was very accommodating of my kids and even splitting their Mickey Mouse pancake and OJs which was greatly appreciated. I got the chicken and waffles which were great. My family got a selection of omelettes and egg/breakfast selection items - they all said it was really good! All in all, great coffee shop with wonderful staff and decor! Plenty of parking! I will be back.

Been here a couple of times and I always like this place! Food: yum in the tummy! I always like getting the egg scrambles / omelettes. Service: cool . Ambiance: cozy cozy. ;)

Stopped by Neal's for breakfast a couple weeks ago. This place has that classic old-school diner feel that's hard to find these days. I ordered an omelette with bacon and toast. Solid, no-frills breakfast done right. My girlfriend went with the Swedish crepes with strawberries and she loved them. The crepes were delicious with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the staff really makes you feel like family. You can even watch the cooks working from the counter if you sit at the bar. Service was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a reliable neighborhood breakfast spot with generous portions and good prices, Neal's delivers. We'll definitely be back!

Decided to bypass the overpriced hotel buffet for a local greasy spoon within waling distance and ran across Neal's Coffee shop. The hospitality was great and friendly for my entire visit and my coffee was never less than half full at all times. The menu had lots of options but as soon as I saw chicken and waffles on the cover there was no need to look any further. The waffles came out first and were just as expected, with a good crisp exterior and soft interior. The chicken was evenly coated and cooked perfectly, although I would prefer a heavier hand with the seasoning I really cannot complain. I also didn't read the description carefully... they provide half a chicken! This wouod be enough for two and all this for about half of the hotel buffet.

This place has been here longer than I can remember. I used to go here 15+ years ago when I lived in the area. I took my parents here for breakfast just to switch it up. We all tend to go to our usual breakfast spots. We were greeted and seated right away by a cheerful waitress. She definitely brings life to the place. The place itself is simply decorated. We ordered: 1. Pancake sandwich special - my dad liked how the pancakes tasted home made. Sausage was perfectly cooked. 2. Denver omelette w/ crepes - my mom felt the veggies and ham were not browned or cooked well enough. She didn't care for the potatoes. They weren't seasoned and browned enough. She really liked the crepes and almost literally licked the plate clean. 3. Biscuits and gravy - The sausage and gravy were delicious. The biscuit was a little hard, like it wasn't fresh. The people who worked here were really good at keeping the place clean and ready for the next batch of customers. My dad liked the service and the fact that you can kind of see them cooking the food. Overall, it was a good experience all the way around. It's a simple no frills diner. My parents especially loved that the portions were just right.

Brisk and friendly service and relatively busy for lunch time on a weekday. The pancakes are average but the sandwiches are much better.

The food was okay. The mouse running in and out of the booth seats while eating dinner was disgusting. Pointed it out to the manager and he didn't seem too concerned about it. He even let another family sit in the booth that the mouse was in. Won't be going back. Would never recommend.

Overall, it was a good experience. While our waiter was friendly, he didn't speak much English, which led to a bit of confusion. When I asked if the entire menu was available, including breakfast items, he had difficulty understanding the question. I decided to go with the French Dip. The bread was perfectly toasty, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling satisfied. I'll definitely be back to try something else next time.

4.5 star experience…read more My party of 5 arrived on a Saturday evening and got seated within a few minutes. Always love the option to join the online waitlist ahead of time when reservations aren't available. Favorite dishes of the night were: -Gnocchi Fritto appetizer: Never had fried gnocchi before, had a great puffy texture. Truffle taste in the truffle cream sauce wasn't very strong. -Zucchine e Maiz lasagna: Pesto was a great sauce choice and paired well with the zucchini and corn. -Squid Ink Seafood Pasta (special): Generous seafood portions and the dish was flavorful. -Complimentary focaccia: Fluffy and yummy with olive oil. Other dishes: The Italian Sausage lasagna was fine. I personally love crispy lasagna edges, but some people found it too crisp and too dry. The salad (Insalata di Rucola) wasn't mind blowing, but I'm glad we ordered a veg to cut through the richness and heaviness of three carb-heavy entrees. The restaurant itself is smaller than expected, so I would avoid coming here with large parties. It also felt really hot and stuffy inside, which I anticipate getting worse as summer progresses. The interior is cutely decorated. Service was initially attentive. We did have to flag down our waitress multiple times to order and get the check. Overall, my party enjoyed the food and we would come back!

The foccacia was given to us by our waiter without us asking, even though on the menu it stated we needed to ask. This was very fluffy and can be dipped in the olive oil provided at the table. I was immediately impressed with the lasagna with Italian sausage as I was making my first cut with my knife. I could tell that the pasta was freshly made and the sausage and sauce combo was amazing. I've had a lot of lasagna in my life and this dish stood out to me. The menu gives you an option to create your own pasta dish by choosing your pasta shape, sauce, protein, and topping, so we chose the gnocchi with Alfredo sauce and added chicken as the protein. Gnocchi was nicely dense and chewy, the Alfredo was creamy and not too salty. We ended our meal with dessert, and the waiter recommended tiramisu. I've been to Italy and had tiramisu, and also made it at home several times. The tiramisu was tasty, but what I noticed was that the lady fingers weren't really soaked in the coffee/Kahlua mixture so the dessert as a whole didn't have that flavor that tiramisu is known for, plus the texture was too dry and was more cake like. Also the mascarpone was a bit too hard and not soft, perhaps not enough whipped cream was added. Overall the meal was enjoyable and I would return again to try the other types of lasagnas, and perhaps their gelato.

The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, which isn't always easy to find, and every bite was packed with flavor. To top it all off, don't skip dessert. Big gaps between rounds made me feel like I wasted a lot of time for the AYCE price. (-1) Their appetizers and "from the wok" section was not impressive. We tried their calamari and their onion rings and both were over-fried. We also tried their garlic noodles and their crab fried rice. The garlic noodles were super watery. My partner did enjoy the crab fried rice and could taste the crab. For the main entrees, we ordered shrimp, snow crabs, and clams, all perfectly cooked! Plump and flavorful. The sauce was pretty thick and garlicky-- 10/10 sauce lol it was almost creamy? Their service was fine. The staff were pretty attentive and they were always asking if we needed anything outside of rounds. (-1) You do have to finish every single piece of seafood in your round before you can request more, and it takes a long time for the next round to arrive. I felt like I waited 10 minutes between each round. If you're the kind of person that likes to maximize your eating time, you might find this super frustrating. This was really my only issue but wouldn't stop me from visiting again and considering à la carte only vs AYCE.

They were a decent size, cooked well, and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the garlic noodles, which were great and exactly the kind of buttery, garlicky carb moment you want with seafood. The green beans were a nice addition too and helped balance out the meal with something fresh and veggie-forward. The only thing I'd probably skip next time would be the raw oysters which didn't taste as fresh. Their fried chicken was delicious though! All the ingredients (peppercorn, tons of garlic "garlicky heaven", and butter) blended well together like one big happy family. This is my new favorite seasoning, a slight edge above the salted egg yolk, as it doesn't taste as greasy. I wish we had taken photos but I was very hungry.
