    Lobster Risotto
    Tara A.

Mykonos Meze is always a solid choice for Greek food! Love that they have seats inside, outside, and on their covered patio area. We always get the mezze sampler plate with all the dips, and the grilled octopus. Recently I tried the lobster risotto and that was delicious as well! It had lots of lobster within the risotto and a fresh lobster tail on top. I also like the grilled chicken thighs with farro, so simple yet tasty!

Came by for dinner the other night and it was a decent experience. Made a reservation for dinner and we were offered a choice of the sidewalk or side lot outdoor dining with blankets and a heater. There seemed to be quite a few parties indoors, which feels more like a club. Service was more leisurely than on previous visits due to the heavy amount of guests dining on a weeknight. Started off with the zucchini cakes and they were quite tasty. They were super flavorful and had a tasty dipping sauce that complemented this dish. The grilled octopus was gigantic and cooked to perfection, while not being rubbery. The lamb riblets were tasty as they were tender and served over a bed of arugula. The brussel sprouts were tasty, albeit a touch on the smaller side. Opted to share the chilean sea bass as the main course and it was gigantic. The sea bass was very fatty and buttery. I loved how this dish was served with some super soft potatoes and creamy spinach. The skin on the sea bass was also quite satisfying. The Galaktoboureko recommended by our waitress was merely so so. I find the version at Evvia much better. There is a 4% hospitality support charge added to the bill.

I've dined here countless times at Mykonos. It's one of the best restaurants off of Burlingame Ave. On Lorton. The food is beautifully presented, large portion sizes, addressed nicely, drinks are great, service is quick. I highly recommend making RSVP for the best experience!

    Zucchini Cake, $15 - 4.5 Stars

Mykonos Meze is a wonderful, family restaurant with fantastic food in Burlingame downtown. We were looking for a place for dinner, heard rowdily happy noises from what looks like a parking lot, and found a Greek restaurant with large family groups inside and tables outside under an extension with floral decor. The place is quite pretty. We opted for a small table outside , which is much quieter. Our waiter was a bit stiff around the collar. I suspect he is an old timer, and clearly, we are not regulars. Regardless, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. The Food: Zucchini Cake, $15 - 4.5 Stars Menu: crispy zucchini cakes with cucumber & mint-yogurt dressing These cakes are ball shaped, deep fried, and made a healthy veggie taste naughty type of good. Very yummy. Lol Tzatziki, $9 - 5 Stars Refreshing and delicious, the tzatziki is an excellent complement to the meal. Octopus, $19 - 5 Stars I really need to stop eating octopus, but when I am in a Greek or Spanish restaurant, I am weak. Grilled octopus legs are soooo good. Their version is grilled just right, not too much char, plus they smartly removed the hardened tips (common) before serving. See photo. Lamb Shank, $34 - 5 Stars Menu: aromatic braised lamb shank with orzo & myzithra cheese The lamb meat is tender and falls off the bone. It is cooked just right. Mykonos Souvlaki, $31 - 5 Stars Menu: herbs marinated tenderloin, shallot & rosemary skewers I enjoy a tasty protein and produce meal, and this dish is perfection with tender pieces of tenderloin over a pile of veggies. It is everything I want.

What a fun dinner spot! Went here with friends and loved most of our dishes and drinks. Great waiter and fast service! The appetizers were really good and I loved my pasta dish. The pulpo appetizer and the tzatziki dish were the highlights. The cocktails were innovative and tasty. I'd def come back.

    Grilled Cheese

Food was amazing and service was amazing! Fried cheese: 4/5 A bit too salty for me but if you combine it with the pita bread, it makes a great combo. The grilled texture with the soft cheese interior was definitely delicious though. Octopus: 5/5 It was fresh, soft, and the sauce and hazelnuts really compliment the octopus flavors. Seabass: 5/5 I highly recommend trying this if you like fish. It comes in a large filet with potatoes and spinach on the bottom. The filet itself was sweet, soft, and melts in your mouth. It was cooked to perfection. The skin was seared to a crisp texture that you can eat it like a chip.

This place was super packed even on a Wednesday night! Definitely recommend reservations ahead of time. Service was pretty fast for how busy they were. The seabass ($51) was amazing - the fish was so rich and buttery and flavorful, and the greens were delicious as well. The octopus ($17) was also delicious and such a treat. I thought the lamb shank was pretty good but not as tender as I would have liked. Overall the food was good but a bit pricy, especially the fries which were $10 for essentially some fries with a bit of sauce.

Great restaurant in Burlingame! Food was excellent, I was craving a light seafood dish and the Psari was perfect. We were seated outside and it was a bit cold but they had heaters and blankets which were nice

Showed up without a reservation on a Tuesday night and it was packed! They still managed to seat our party of 4 outside with heat lamps and we were plenty warm. We ordered a ton of small plates for the table--all delicious. In particular the meatballs and mussels are must-orders. Incredible! Great service and hospitality. Loved it!

We came here for Father's day dinner with family which it was a first time for almost everyone. Overall everything went well, our server was tentative and helpful. By the end of dinner there were a lot of clean plates and full stomachs which proves the team here at Mykonos Meze fully deserve the 5 star vote! Highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a great experience and an even better food experience!!

This place remains one of our favorites in peninsula. And we almost always went with the same items: akuka spread, octopus, lamb shank, brussel sprouts. We added the seafood pasta this time. Great: akuka spread, octopus, lamb shank. Good: sea food pasta. The taste is good, but I feel for the price maybe there can be more. Brussel sprouts: a bit too salty. Service is fantastic as always. Reservations recommended.

We came without a reservation on a Wednesday night and it was super packed. The area outside that is closest to the indoor area is still quite warm though with the heat lamps. Our favorites were the keftedes (meatballs) and spread platter. The meatballs have lamb in them but you don't taste it at all. The spread platter was very fun to try a 7 different dips/spreads. Our favorite spreads were the karoto (carrot spread) and tirokafteri (a bit of spicier red bell pepper spread.) Honestly, all the spreads were very good so I would say give any of them a try. The beet spinach salad had a lovely citrus flavor. The moussaka was delicious as well but I felt the other items were actually better!

    Beef kebab
    Matty E.

The name is apropos for this Greek joint, as the lighting and large bar make it feel like a Mykonos beachside club. This is not a bad thing, as it straddles the "good for family dinner" and "good for date night drinks" surprisingly well. The waitstaff are warm and friendly, if not sometimes a bit rushed to clear the table -- they twice tried to take plates we were still eating from, but from more of an "attentive-service" place. We opted to share several plates for a group of four, and this seems to be the right call. The dip platter is a MUST, with several variations that I had never tried before. Other standouts include the beef kebab and fried zucchini balls. The real winner was definitely dessert. I usually find desserts play second fiddle to the main courses of most restaurants, but this couldn't be further from the truth for Mykonos. The baklava was solid (the regular comes with a scoop of ice cream, in case you're like us and are not sold on the baklava-ice-cream alternative), but the BANANA PUDDING stole the show, from the fruity bottom all the way to the pistachio-encrusted top. We couldn't get enough!

Lamb Shanks. Didn't get to try. Was my sisters order.

What's the steak called in the menu? I can't find it :(

Hi Daniel. I hope you enjoyed everything. The steak is called Moscharisia Brizola…

    Are there vegan options?

Not that I know of, but I am sure they could customize upon request.

Are there many gluten-free options? Any recommendations?

Yes, they have lots of gluten free options that are clearly marked GF. The lamb riblets are gluten free and amazing!

I don't see the sampler dips plate on the menu. Is it still something you can order?

I went to Mykonos about one month ago and ordered the sampler dips plate, so to my knowledge it is still an option! They recommended it as an appetizer for our group when we went - so delicious!

Can you bring a bottle of wine with corkage fee?

Absolutely you can bring a bottle of wine with $20 corkage fee. Up to 3 bottles. If you puchase a bottle of wine from our wine list we will waive the corkage fee per bottle…

Do you allow pets (dogs) in your outside seating?

Yes, they do allow pets outside eating and they're providing water cups for pet's 😍

Do they have heating lamps for outdoor dining?

    Yes!

This time, we were also allowed to sit in the restaurant area, which wasn't offered during my first visit and was a nice improvement. The bakery stands out for its unique pastries, such as the potato leek brioche, along with a selection of cookies and various types of croissants. The pastries are clearly popular and tend to sell out quickly--several customers mentioned that items they came for were already gone, even though they've experienced this on multiple visits. The pastries themselves are genuinely delicious and well worth trying. However, the coffee didn't quite match the same level. Both the drip coffee and latte were on the lighter side and tasted fairly average. Service is an area that could use improvement. We asked for our pastries to be warmed, but they were forgotten. We also requested our drinks to be served in house cups instead of to-go cups, and that was overlooked as well. While the staff was friendly, more attention to these details would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall, it's a bakery with excellent and creative pastries, but consistency in service and stronger coffee would make it even better.

We sat outside, and the atmosphere felt tired and uninspired. There was nothing particularly inviting or memorable about the space. Nothing tasted fresh or vibrant. The bread was especially disappointing--bland, lacking texture, and seemingly devoid of flavor. My husband ordered the Tempranillo and I had the Albariño. Neither was enjoyable; both tasted harsh and overly alcoholic rather than balanced or flavorful. Even the presentation missed the mark. The happy hour menu was pretty awesome as well. If you aren't interested in food but looking for a place to get drinks, the cocktails here are also on point. South San Francisco is a stones throw from where we live and even though there are some solid casual spots, we don't find too many places in this area where you can get amazing food, craft cocktails, and this kind of ambiance. With that being said we were ecstatic to discover this hidden gem. It checks all the boxes!! We ordered the Caesar salad, pozole, burger & Fries, and beef tacos from the happy hour menu. Everything was so good and I am not just saying that! The Caesar salad came served with slices of avocado. Not traditional, but absolutely delicious and nicely dressed. The burger was beautiful and juicy and cooked to perfection. It came served with those french fries that have that extra layer of crispiness.on them. I call them 'next level fries' because that's what they are. My favorite thing, hands down, were the tacos. Oh my God... the tacos!! There are a lot of great Taquerias in the Bay Area but this place can contend. I'm serious. Perfect crispy tacos that came served with this beautiful salsa verde. Truthfully we ordered so much food but the tacos were so good we got another order of them. I ordered a Paloma and it was the perfect drink to go with my tacos. This was our first and only time eating here, but this will definitely be a regular spot for us. I hope moving forward this place stays as wonderful as our experience was tonight. It's such a joy to have an experience like this that doesn't require us driving to San Mateo or San Francisco. It's about time we had places like this in this area. The staff that helped us was also wonderful. The young lady who served us was friendly and helpful with the menu, the bussers were great and there was another lady who checked in on us and helped us throughout the meal. Great service, great staff, terrific food. Please keep up the good work.
