Nectar is one of the coolest spots in Spokane. Thoughtfully designed, knowledgeable staff, and an excellent selection of wine. The views are incredible on the patio, and comfy in inside by the fireplace. Great spot!

Amazing wine and beer bar in Spokane. Service was lovely. Our party was the only group inside and the couches were comfortable. We each had a glass of wine and toasted to a day without worries! Outdoor patio space has an amazing view to the skyline.

Perfect little spot to stop for some beer or wine! We stopped here for some beer. Service was super friendly, we wanted to sit outside because it's along the river and we waited about 15 minutes and then a table opened up outside. We were excited! Especially me since I'm from out of town. It was lovely sitting along the pathway and watching people go past and the water moving down stream as we drank our beers and ate some nice treats. I'd definitely recommend this spot to come with friends to get some drinks and enjoy their company?

Extremely disappointing experience on Saturday Mar 26, 2022! Waited 30 mins for their Spanish Olive Medley. Medley implies a varied mixture of olives would be supplied. Not in this case (posted a pair of photos-see highlights of menu and image of the lacking plate). As you will also note from their menu description the plate should include cheese and sausage. Check the photo - nope, none to be found. What the hell?! When asked, we were told, oh there's a new guy, we're under staffed and they were out of the sausage. Ok, out of sausage, then say something when you place the order, or at least bring the plate out with an alternate. What about the cheese. Deer in the headlights response. Ridiculous! Do better!! It's a competitive landscape. Questioning whether I should ever return.

I just want to preface I don't drink. That being said, service was great. We were checked on several times. There's a lovely patio area to hang out at. My friends enjoyed their drinks. We ordered the beer candied bacon (though odd presentation, it does make sense and they were gobbled up pretty quickly) and the artichoke and spinach dip. I'm taking a star off because the dip was so bland? The bread itself didn't have any sort of good taste on its own and it was slightly stale. Most disappointing dip. :(

UPDATE: Since contacting the owner about this situation, he has handled it exemplarily. My faith in humanity has been restored. ORIGINAL: I've never been treated so poorly in my life by servers. There was an accident outside where my dog jumped up to see another dog & knocked the table over spilling & breaking glass everywhere. My friend & myself of course jump up & try to get out of way. Another man walking by tries to help leaving 3 people & a dog staring at an upended table & debris. The staff comes out, and procedures to yell at us to move away as we are an insurance liability if we clean up the broken glass. Not once did any of your staff ask if we were ok. They yell & get in argument with man who was trying to help. The staff goes in to get brooms, so we move to other table. Assuming we'd re-order drinks. We were told we were NOT welcome & must leave which is where the cussing match occurred. I mention to them nobody bothered to be concerned with our health only insurance which was said repeatedly. And I was told it was my fault. Not saying it wasn't, but let's act like adults. Meanwhile I'm bleeding all over the ground from several cuts on my hand & fingers. (See pict...there were several blood piles like this around to which I point out & take this picture) This was the worst treatment of customers ever, and truthfully I was mad at my friend for paying. I'd have stiffeMy fingers are still bleeding, and it would have been nice to not be treated like a second rate citizen. BTW, I'm African American and your two servers were white. Let's talk.

Wine and atmosphere was spectacular, charcuterie board needs a boost. The staff was attentive as possible during Covid weirdness. Overall we would totally come back... mainly for that M100!

Gabe and Jeff know their stuff whether it is beer or wine. Ben does an amazing job of keeping an interesting selection on tap for beer with a "featured brewery" every month as well. Located in Kendall Yards, the crowd is eclectic, ranging from millennials to baby boomers. If the weather is nice, sitting out on the patio provides for a great view of the Monroe Street Bridge and Downtown Spokane. Food selections are minimal, and you can order an overpriced (and overrated) pizza from Veracci, next door. If you're vegan, there are Tim's Cascade potato chips, otherwise your SOL.

One of my favorite places to hang out and try new beers! They have a great rotation of beers on tap which is only enhanced by their single can selection in the fridge. It has a comfortable atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff that can direct you into something pleasing to your palate. A unique feature to this establishment is that they allow you to bring in food from other restuarants/food vendors. So I can have a great beer and a bite of food from wherever I might be craving, often my choice is Veraci from next door! On the warmer days it is lovely sitting out on the patio overlooking the downtown Spokane and the river. On cooler days it is nice to sit inside and try new beers while still enjoying the view. They also have a great beer club!

This is what I am looking at from the patio of Nectar Beer and Wine. Very relaxing.

I don't write a lot of these, so when I do, pay attention!…read more I probably drove by this place 20 times before I actually noticed it. Then, once I noticed it, I didn't go in because I've had mixed experiences with little breweries like this. Eventually, I finally walked through the door, and I'm writing this review to help you not make the same mistake I did . The first thing you notice is how warm and inviting the place is. Wood tables, fun chairs, great music, and plants. So many plants. It feels like an actual neighborhood hangout. Here's the funny part: I can't stand beer. My wife likes it, but my taste buds won't allow it. I'm also a type 2 diabetic, so a lot of the usual brewery food isn't really an option for me. But the first time we came in, I saw things like Caprese Salad, Italian Salad, Smoked Salmon, and other options that actually work for me. And then I discovered they make their own hard seltzers. Game changer! They always have several fun flavors, and they're unsweetened, which is exactly what I'm looking for. You can also get cans to go if you want to bring some home. You can tell the husband and wife owners have put a lot of love into this place. It's comfortable, welcoming, a little quirky, and they've always been incredibly kind. So if you live around here or just driving through, check it out!

I ordered the Fig Sandwich and the Fancy Pants Sando because I could not decide between the two as they both sounded very unique in different ways. I called the place up and arranged to come pick the food up. The person on the phone was very thoughtful in keeping in mind at what time I would arrive so he could arrange for the sandwich to be toasted at the right time. I appreciate small details like that. When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

When we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the guy at the bar was genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The food prep was impressively fast, and everything was packaged neatly and thoughtfully for takeout. We started with the pretzel, which was solid, but the real standout was the mustard--super unique with a tangy, spicy, almost wasabi-like kick that made it memorable. For mains, the curry dish hit a great balance--flavorful without being overpowering or too mild. And the biggest endorsement came from my daughter, who ordered the kids pasta with marinara and added chicken--she declared it the "best spaghetti she's ever had!" (Shh... don't tell mom.) Overall, great service, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is I'd love to explore more of the menu next time--but based on this visit, we'll definitely be back.

Street corn ribs, Brussels chip = super light, pokè tostada, steelhead chowder (not pictured), halibut, sea bass...many cocktails since we walked and dessert.
