Brought husband here because I liked the food. Unfortunately we were both disappointed. We were sat quickly by the female bartender who always smiles and is very pleasant. The vodka soda tasted like all soda. The french onion soup was barely warm and had almost no cheese. We had to ask the waitress for water while she brought waters to other tables prior to them ordering. We were also charged full price for our cocktails even though we ordered during happy hour. It was busier than last time I was here, but this is definitely our last time here. Lots of other choices in the area

My god, where do I begin. The staff were truly wonderful and very hospitable. The music was impeccable, walked into hearing Gerry Rafferty, so hell yeah, but the food, oh my god the food, so good. Was recommended to me by a friend for the next time I stopped in Spokane and I was happily surprised. Food was absolutely excellent, delicious, and best paired with a beer, a lager to be specific. Come here, be kind, enjoy the food, and leave a big tip. It's worth every dollar spent.

Great place with a ton of options to choose from! We loved everything we had! The chicken wings were great! And the Mac and cheese was so creamy it melted in your mouth! Great location and atmosphere! Service was also great! Would recommend a visit!

Went for an early dinner on a Wednesday. The staff were nice and attentive. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich with fries. Both were okay but any part of the chicken that didn't have the marinara wasn't good. The breading was more charcoal like. I wouldn't recommend this dish. Overall the dining was great on the service side but I didn't care for the food.

I came here for dinner after work with my fiance and the vibes were great, lots of people but didn't have to wait for a table. We got the wings to start and they were such a tasty buffalo sauce/flavor! I got the French Dip with a side of Mac and cheese and both were great! All in all our food tasted great and we would recommend. However, the service was pretty bad. Our server came to take our order but my fiance had just sat down (I had been there for about 5 minutes before) so we said we weren't ready. For the next 15 minutes she was bussing/serving tables and wouldn't look in our direction. We definitely could understand she was pretty busy so we didn't let it bother us, until we called her over finally to order after those 15 minutes and she looked like we bothering her. After she delivered the food she never stopped by the table again to ask if we needed anything and refused to look in our direction when she was waiting other tables. We were hoping we didn't do anything wrong to upset her but honestly we were pretty surprised and bummed because we enjoyed the food. I would come back to try it again and hope for better service next time, we really were trying to be understanding of her busy section!

We were staying downtown and took an evening walk to check out our surroundings. We spotted the twinkling of patio lights and they led us to Saranac Public House. We loved Saranac! We stayed in downtown Spokane for three days and three nights. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We made it to Saranac five times! In fact I'm the (Yelp!) Duke of Saranac! Saranac regulars from San Diego. LOL! It would've been more if they opened before 11:00 every day and stayed open later on Sunday. We stopped by Sunday early evening and they were already closed. We couldn't say good-bye... Service was exemplary every time. We met Hank, Javi, Abby and Scotty and they were all fantastic. The food was excellent also. We ate only a couple of times, but it was really good. The pretzels were really good. House baked soft pretzels served with our beer mustard & your choice of our cheese sauce or our smoky vegan cheese sauce. The housemade beer mustard was a game changer! Spicy and delicious! That stuff was outstanding! The housemade beer cheese sauce was fantastic also. Becky very much enjoyed a fresh and delicious Caesar salad. Organic romaine hearts, croutons, tossed in creamy Caesar dressing with parmesan & lemon. Served with crostinis. It was fresh, crisp and not over-dressed. Abby gave me a great recommendation with the Pork Belly appetizer. Asian marinaded pork belly, spicy mayo, kimchi and green onions. I was eye-ballin' the pork belly bowl. Abby said that the bowl was good, but if you just want pork belly get the appetizer. So that's what I did. A nice crispy exterior gave way to tender and flavorful pork. The Asian marinade was money! Pork belly get in my belly! Javi (with some unsolicited advice from Hank, LOL!) made what Becky described as a "perfectly spicy" Bloody Mary. Prices were very reasonable, especially for beer, seltzers and cocktails. Hank, Javi, Abby, Scotty - we hope to see you again!

This was the first place I went to for restaurant week. Staff were nice, menu was good, lighting inside was warm and bright. I sat in a booth that was comfortable. The pork belly was super yummy and melted in my mouth. The rice in the ahi poke stack tasted stale and hard/dry. If you want poke, go to Poke Express. The donuts were not very good taste wise, texture was fine. I like Saranac but this time I was disappointed.

Enjoy tasty gastro pub-style eats with plenty of vegan choices. Tried cauliflower wings--crunchy and delicious. The Thai flatbread with grilled tofu was like a big, tasty mini pizza. The jackfruit bahn mi sandwich was flavorful but a bit dry; could use more sauce and less spongy bread. Vegan mac and cheese was a delightful surprise with its smoky flavor.

10/10. Love Saranac as a local classic. Ordered chicken Thai rice bowl and pork carnitas tacos - delicious. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. Come here if you're in Spokane!

Great place to grab lunch with friends. I came here for lunch with as a party of 8. Thankfully we were able to get seated right away. There are some vegan and gluten free options on the menu which is nice. I ordered the Mac & cheese with bacon for +$4. I found my dish to be very filling and cheesy. I almost had a food coma after. Our server was great, she allowed us to have own seperate tabs. Overall, I had pleasant experience!

Open floor plan style venue with multiple choice options for dining, baked goods and beverages. BOOTS IS BACK BABY!!! vegans rejoice in our local favorite returning to downtown across the street from the old location. Order your food and they serve it to you if you dine in. To go options are also welcome. Staff is great. On street paid parking. Walkable from nearby hotels.

Love this place as our family has gluten free and dairy free dietary restrictions. Would highly suggest.

I ordered the Fig Sandwich and the Fancy Pants Sando because I could not decide between the two as they both sounded very unique in different ways. I called the place up and arranged to come pick the food up. The person on the phone was very thoughtful in keeping in mind at what time I would arrive so he could arrange for the sandwich to be toasted at the right time. I appreciate small details like that. When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

Courtney took our order at the counter and even helped my husband carry our beers back to the table. She saw that we had our pup so offered to get him a bowl of water. There is also a beer for every palate. The Brewhouse has many different rooms and vibes as well as merch that you will want to peruse. The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
