I'll try some next time to see if they are fresh. This was an unexpected find for me. I just moved in the area. Haven't checked their wifi. I've been to nice coffee shops only to realize this is missing. It's a must for me. The day and age we're in it should be tablestakes. There's plenty of street parking. The pastries look out of this world--flaky croissants, gorgeous tarts, and sourdough that's worth the trip alone- maybe next time, I'll be able to grab a few. The coffee though, nice! Rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. If you want delicious baking, great coffee, and room to breathe, this place is a true Vancouver gem.

Finally walked over and after several exchanges, determined it was our coffees. I provided the pager and said it did not go off. The attendant then reached down and activated it. Nice. No apologies. Beautiful space but with poor service, I have no intentions of returning to this or any of the Small Victory Bakery's.
