I wanted to give a good review but after finding out I was charged $75 for coolant when I just got a low coolant warning tells me they overcharge and add fees for things they didn't even add to the car. Also found out price of parts were double the price so recommend buying your own parts. Check your invoice before paying to see what charges were made. Other than that, repair was done without problems. I just want some honesty, when you charge $75 for coolant, then don't have the car have low coolant warning show a week later. They may do a good job on brakes, but my experience wasn't that great. They broke a bolt which was not repaired or replaced. I drove 30+ mi. one way to their shop for the repair, because I thought they needed to put it "up on the rack". Instead they worked on it in the grass. Only took at most 1.5hrs. but was charged 300.00 labor. After a discussion with Matt, the charge was for 2 guys working the repair. Needed help with replacing brake calipers and brake hoses. I was charged $200 for labor and about $350 for parts. What I appreciate is that the parts did not have significant markup. I believe there was some, but it wasn't significant. Matt is super nice guy. He was quick to respond and on time. His prices are also less expensive than a typical shop. He's quick. He was in and out in under an hour. So you might be thinking $200 for an hour of labor - well, I'm sure the same job would take me 4 or more hours to do - and a shop would probably cost 2x as much. So I feel that's a fair price. You won't be disappointed. And he's from the Cedar Park area also went to Leander High school when he was younger. A few months back, I ask Matt to fix my brakes, as they were in bad shape. Afterwards, he charged me approximately $350 total which I thought was much cheaper than the shop, so I naively thought it was a good deal. After the fix, my brakes still felt sort of loose, and I was experiencing bumps on the road, but I assumed it was okay based on Matt's diagnosis. 5 months later, I got into an accident because I couldn't stop in time on the freeway, and my brakes did almost nothing. I happened to get my car fixed by a different auto repair shop, who told me the person who fixed my brakes had done a "half-ass" job. Matt had only replaced my pads, and not my rotors which were in dire need of replacement, which also meant the pads were also useless at this point because they were shredded. My brakes were shot - needed new rotors and pads, he was very comparable to actual mechanic shops you take your car to & I love the convenience of him completing the job in my driveway. Also they started squeeking about 2-3 weeks after & he scheduled to come out, and by pure 'luck', my check engine light started flashing on my way home the night before. I warned him of that & asked if he could look at it, and he did - I needed 2 coils & 6 spark plugs & again, I appreciated not having to wait for it at a mechanic shop.
