Rib dinner, dressing and Mac & cheese.

Holy bbq!! The bbq gods smiled down from the heavens on Neicy's. This place was is the TRUTH! Ok seriously, the damn best bbq I've had in a good while. Ribs were perfection. But here's the thing. The mustard sauce y'all! I am usually not a fan of mustard bbq. The lady at the counter asked- mustard sauce and slaw on top? Something in me just knew I had to. Thank gawd I went for it because this was the best sauce ever! Seriously should be bottled and sold everywhere. Sides: There was a bunch listed on the board, but we were late and they were out of baked beans. The dressing- omg! Creamed, yet fluffy. I just hope this is a year round thing. Mac & Cheese - you know it's creamy and delicious My guy got the combo, leg quarters and chopped pork sandwich (chips & drink) It cake with the same option of sauce and slaw. He also went for it. We were both enamored with everything. I only wish it was closer to where we live. When we are back in this area, I hope to have Neicy's again!

Coming here since 2018 when we first arrived in Fort Benning. We've never ordered anything that we don't like. All meals comes with a sweet tea on the side. The food is amazing it was our first experience with a mustard base BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce is my favorite it has to be bottled and sold separately I'd buy it by the galloon.

I am from Columbus GA and let me say it's a shame that as many times I have been home I've never tried this place. Lots of great stories I heard of the food but never been. Nonetheless on this day of hanging with my mom and youngest daughter, I decided to give it a try. Because of COVID 19, of course this small business can only do to go dining. Parking is very limited on a Saturday afternoon. Probably always limited seeing that the area is small. You can smell the wonderful smell of barbecue walking up to place. Inside the place where the orders are taken, I say again, is small. The line was about 8 people deep. I did not see any postings for social distancing but I wasn't really looking for them either. I know that many of the people in line had on masks though. Neicys has a posted menu displayed but of course many items that you want they may be out of. With the place being so good you can only expect it. My mom and I ordered two rib plates which comes with half a slab of meaty ribs sauced with potato salad, baked beans and bread for $12 each. She ordered sauce on the side, but somehow our boxes got mixed up and i ended up with the sauce on the side. I ordered also for the kids since it was gonna be to go, two pulled pork sandwiches for $6. I want to say I enjoyed the food shortly after but after dropping my mom off, I had to drive an hour back to Lee county. However when I did get the chance to sit down, after reheating the plate the ribs were sooo good. The ribs were very meaty, succulent, and fell of the bone. The sauce was sweet and a bit spicy which was good. The potato salad was nice and the beans were smoky with hints of brown sugar. I couldn't believe how good it was. I can't wait to try some more menu items when given the chance.

If you're a fan of lemon-pepper, as it is the dominant spice on the ribs, then look no further!

BBQ was dry and old. Vegetables came out of a can. Cornbread was hard as a rock. We don't know how this place has such a high rating

This might be the best food in town. It's a bit off the beaten path, so it's safe to call Neicys BBQ a "hidden gem".

I prefer Sauvignon Blanc and this did not disappoint. For dinner we tried the ravioli and meatball parm (Adrienne's recommendation) both were delicious! We have plenty of leftovers to last us. Ended the meal with house made absinthe (my partner swears it tasted like gummy bears) and limoncello. Do not sleep on Gabagool! Service was phenomenal, drinks were fun and food was delicious. In stark contrast, the Lemoncello Cheesecake Martini proved an absolute delight: rich, creamy, and lush with bright lemonade notes. Intensely satisfying and dangerously drinkable, one could happily indulge in a gallon of this velvety concoction. Service brought its own inconsistencies. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, cheerfully assisting with menu navigation. However, requests for ice water were met repeatedly with room-temperature glasses, requiring multiple reminders that never quite resolved the issue. The menu itself presented a minor puzzle--the dessert section was absent, leaving us uncertain whether a separate dessert menu existed or if options had simply been overlooked. The appetizers shone brightly. The Fried Green Tomatoes arrived as a visually stunning plate (we had already dispatched two of the four slices before snapping a photo). The breading was on the heavier side yet carried solid flavor, while the accompanying sauces stole the show. The marinara was exceptional--deep, fresh, and layered with complexity; one could easily envision bottling it. The cream sauce provided a lovely counterpoint to the vibrant pesto, which surprised me (as a general pesto skeptic) with its balanced texture and multifaceted flavor profile. The Burrata and Charcuterie-style starter was equally successful. Featuring a generous bowl of creamy burrata, two varieties of sweet jam, assorted cured meats, and crusty bread, it invited creative assembly into custom crostini. This interactive element added an innovative, playful touch while delivering robust, harmonious flavors. Unfortunately, the main courses told a more mixed story. The Sausage and Broccolini pasta was a clear disappointment. Visually, it arrived swimming in excess grease that overwhelmed the palate from the first few bites onward and very muted tones. While the pasta was perfectly cooked, the broccolini retained a pleasant crunch, and the sausage offered good initial flavor and texture, the sheer quantity of oil coated everything, rendering subsequent tastes one-dimensional and heavy. In hindsight, the Shrimp Caprese might have been the wiser choice, though the menu's lack of portion detail gave pause. My husband's Chicken Parmesan fared better. The cutlet showed a darker presentation that stopped short of burnt, and while the visual appeal suffered slightly, the flavor delivered. The pasta was cooked beautifully with a well-balanced sauce portion, and the generous cutlet itself was tender and satisfying--a solid, classic execution. Overall, the meal had moments of real brilliance, particularly in the appetizers and that unforgettable martini, tempered by execution missteps in temperature control and richness management. A restaurant with clear potential, though one that would benefit from tighter attention to fundamentals.

The interior has been very well remodeled, with a bar, plenty of seating and a new restroom. It's very beautiful. When we arrived we were the only party there, although when we were eating another party joined. It was nice to have the space mostly to ourselves. But besides the interior the food is delicious as well. We ordered the crab cake appetizers first. They come with two fairly large crab cakes, with a nice spicy sauce and lemons to squeeze. They were delicious. As someone who doesn't each much sea food, the crab tasted very good especially with the sauce and lemon juice. Our server JR, was very attentive to our needs, checking in frequently and making sure we got everything we needed. I personally ordered the Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo with a side of Mac and cheese. Others in our party had the Pork Chop, Salmon and Chicken Marsala. My Alfredo and chicken was one of the best I've ever had. The noodles were the perfect consistency and the Alfredo sauce was delicious. It went extremely well with the chicken. I tried a bit of the salmon and it tasted pretty good as well. Overall everyone was satisfied with their meal. The max was delicious, it actually comes with bits of bacon which is a nice surprise. For dinner we had peach cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. Although the peach cheesecake was good the lava cake stole the show. The chocolate was so rich and paired with the vanilla it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. Definitely would recommend.
