Normally love this place but i recently received a pizza in a styrofoam box. Pizza was wet and soggy. Happened again only this time i asked for a new pizza, well what I received was the same pizza stuffed back in the oven. Needless to say it was dry and burnt on the outside and very wet and mushy on the inside, completely non edible had to throw it away.. I had called around 5 pm and ordered delivery for two medium sized pizzas. One pepperoni and one chicken garlic. One hour later I called to see how long till our pizza is delivered and was told it should be there any minute. At 6:50 pm our pizza shows up, cold and disgusting. It's not good when kids refuse to eat a basic pepperoni pizza, the chicken garlic pizza also lacked "chicken" I do believe there were three pieces on the whole pizza. So the takeaway from this review, don't order from this establishment unless you want something that tastes pretty gross and takes almost two hours to make/deliver. We bought several pizzas for pick up, we arrived on time and yet found the pizza was not warm at all. Feta cheeses and spinach pizza used to be delicious there, now it was on a cardboard looking crust very dry and tasteless. There was maybe two small chunks of feta and a sad looking spinach leaf on top of each slice. the sauce was almost nonexistent on the dry crust and no mozzerella. The other pizzas we ordered were horrible too, don't go to this pizza place, because we called when we got home and started serving it and saw how bad it looked and the manager had the nerve to ask if we wanted a 10% discount next time! I said no, we are retired military family and get that as discount most places already, and he said, "okay" I ended the call by saying I wouldn't be back. We visit Neighbors Pizza for takeout. We haven't really explored the variety of toppings because We go to our usual stand-byes: Oregon and New Mexico. Oregon is veggie and New Mexico is jalapeño and chorizo. Both are very flavorful and generously covered with toppings. The service is a little haphazard and the place is passably clean; but the pizza is what we go for and the best pizza in town is what we get! Give it a try! read more

This place has consistently great pizza and exceptionally friendly owners and staff who care about the community. We have been ordering and eating here for years, they are incredibly accommodating- they go the extra mile and their pizza is delicious, one night we had ordered several pizza and one of the mediums was missing a couple toppings -they offered to bring out a fresh one immediately even though they were closing , with more than enough pizza, we ended up just putting it down they owed us a pizza for the next time,- next time we ordered they were more than happy to honor that. I'm torn. When I first opened the box of pizza I was so impressed! I ordered 3 pizzas, one being a supreme and I have never seen this many toppings on a supreme pizza! it looked amazing!!! But as I took a slice I noticed the longest black hair attached to the slice and the rest of the pizza! darn it! I love the other pizza's I ordered. They are delicious!! I just can do without the hair next time. I would suggest employees having a hair net or even just up and pulled back. Other then that shout out to whomever made that supreme!!! It is loaded with the toppings!! I think you owe me a free supreme next time. Rude staff. Wings are ridiculously bad, low quality and were still freezing-cold in the middle. They have some OK tasting specials and some really mediocre ones. Prices are ridiculous, for the price you could get waaaaay better pizza at roundtable, and the employees are nicer too. You could save money and go to any of the others nearby (domino's, pizza hut, little caesars and more are all within 2 miles). Also, pretty filthy inside and the back where they cook the pizzas looks even worse. read more

We are new to the area and this is one of three food places available on our way home (other than quick packaged food at Power Mart off of Arboga). I didn't want to purchase a whole pizza not knowing if we'd like it or not so I decided to try the place out by buying a slice (offered M-F until 2pm). We picked the combo slice and what I thought was a cheese slice (it in fact was a pepperoni pizza that has pepperoni lined right below the crust). All in all, the pizza was good. My combo slice was piled high with yummy toppings. However, you are paying top dollar for a slice at $3.79 plus tax. Thats pretty pricey in my opinion and can buy you a whole lot of pizza at other pizza joints. My only complaint is that the cashier ringing me up used her bare hands to get my pizza slices. Disposable food gloves or tongs should be used when you are handling food. Especially if you are ringing up customers, answering the phone, grabbing menues, and getting to-go boxes. Makes me wonder how things in the kitchen are being handled. I had to cut the crust away where her hands touched. 3 stars for convenient location (on my way home) and for the decent tasting pizza. read more

We enjoy this place a lot but they lack consistency. Our favorite specialty pizza is the Georgia, but very rarely does it come to us with all the ingredients listed. This last time, specifically, the pizza came with JUST the chicken and cheese. Still tasted great and we didnt return if or complain, but this happens very frequently. Still giving them 4 stars because we have never had a bad experience with them during the last 2 years, just find it irritating that lately we get half of what we ordered on a pizza they have on their specialty menu. Honestly the worst pizza I've had probably ever. I was hesitant to leave a bad review and thought I'd eat here again and try something different. Still horrible. 4 times and still horrible. I won't come back. Their artichoke hearts are chopped up and still have spikes in it. Their sauce is not good and the dough is not good either. I am not sure how from toppings to sauce to crust, you could have such a nasty pizza. My 4 year old son wouldn't even eat a second bite and he loves pizza. I promised myself I would not come back. I wish there was a good place to eat around Plumas lake. Honestly, the towermart 1 mile west from here serves better food. I want to like these guys but the food itself is sub par. On a recent order it took nearly an hour and a half for delivery. When my pizza and cheese bread arrived the pizza was warm (not anywhere near hot), the toppings were spare, not enough sauce with little cubes of diced ham(?). And the cheese bread barely had cheese. Come on guys! You have a great website, good organization and decent execution but the food is no where near the quality for what you charge. Why haven't more restaurants opened to serve the burgeoning subdivisions of Olivehurst and Plumas Lake? Granted, it's not a booming metropolis, but several hundred (thousand?) homes have been added in the past five years. Thank goodness for Neighbors Pizza. :-) These folks are nice, and they make a very decent pizza. We've tried several of their specialties and haven't been disappointed by any of them. When I'm undecided, I ask whoever I'm ordering from what her/his favorite is. I haven't tried their cheese bread, salads, ice cream, etc., because I like to save my money for the main event, but they're smart to offer so many go-withs. I say they're nice people because they support local schools enthusiastically. They offer fundraising opportunities that have benefited many classrooms. As well, their counter staff is always friendly and polite. Once, when I had to wait a long time for my order because of a problem with the oven or something, the young lady at the counter gave me a free pizza with my order. THAT'S excellent customer service! We've bought many, many pizzas from them since then, partly because of that freebie! One of our favorite things about Neighbors is their poker chip program. With every order, you earn a poker chip. When you have 10 chips, you get a free pizza. Love it! Neighbors is in a pretty, little strip mall that has had some struggles staying filled. I hope Neighbors stays there for years! read more

We're brand new transplants to Olivehurst and one of the first things we found was Neighbors. Mind you, we haven't gone in so my review is only of the pizza and delivery service. The ordering process is super easy, the menu is pretty amazing. I have found a few pizzas we really want to try but haven't had the chance yet. So far our favorite is the Illinois. That being said.... The sauce tastes tinny and the dough tastes like mass produced frozen dough. Nothing horrific but nothing amazing. I tend to get the thin crust and easy sauce to limit those flavors, which kind of bums me out. The toppings are always very generous. The staff is wonderful, although I wish it didn't take an hour from order to delivery. The poker chips are fun for our family. I will keep ordering from here because it's the only game in town (and I'm not keen on Domino's) but not as often as I have with other spots. read more

They have the standard pizzas, plus you can customize your own, and they have some damn interesting specialty ones as well. Love the crust, the ingredients are always good, the prices are decent, and they have some good combo deals. Plus, you can get various appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and pastas. Biggest downside is the delivery time. I think the delivery person goes out once there's enough orders, so you can wait over an hour for your pizza. Manager is ridiculous. $82 spent for delivery and we didn't get cheese or peppers, no plates, no napkins, no ranch for the wings or even a fork for the spaghetti! Common sense, when u get a delivery order for a hotel you would assume they would provide at least some napkins or a fork because people usually bring that stuff to a hotel. I call to mention this and the manager said to me, "I'm sure the hotel has forks" really?! My reviews all start out with 5 stars and I subtract one star for every negative I experience. As you can see there were none. We have had pizzas delivered from Neighbors for about a year now but tonight's was especially good. We couldn't figure out what it was but their pizza, which has always been consistently good, was even better tonight. We get the family package #1. It includes a raged pizza, wings, garlic cheese bread and a 2 liter bottle of soda. All for $28.00. That blows away those other pizza joints that deliver to Plumas. So great taste, great prices, they deliver and they are pretty friendly. If you live in the Plumas Lake area you can do a lot worse than Neighbors Pizza. Give them a call on a rainy night like tonight and sit back. Your dinner will be great and showing up hot. read more
