Do not bring your car here, especially if you own a Subaru! I brought my 2015 legacy in for bumper repair and to replace rear proximity sensor. I was told a new bumper included the sensor, it did not.
When I picked up my car, the paint on bumper did not match color of car and the sensor was still offline. Their loaner car was not good.
After I picked up my car the second time, the sensor worked for about a mile.
They brought my car to Subaru where they were told that the mounting bracket had to be replaced and that there was a bend in rear fender that needed to be fixed. After I got my car back the third time, they said to bring it back if there were any issues. The sensor worked for 2 weeks. Their computer system does not interface with newer cars, especially from Subaru.
I waited until after winter, because I didn't feel safe driving their loaner in winter, and was told that they wanted more money just to look at the car and couldn't guarantee that they could fix it. They lied to me that they replaced the mounting bracket and fixed rear quarter panel.
I had to bring it to another body shop where I was told that they could tell someone tried to bend the mounting bracket back into shape, but that it was definitely not replaced, also the body work on rear quarter panel still needed to be done.
The proximity sensors are very sensitive and need to be mounted within millimeters. Also, both rear sensors need to be calibrated when one goes offline, the opposite side had not been recalibrated.
I was also told that fixing a broken bumper is not recommended as the thickness of the material the sensor has to go through will also affect its ability to perform which I was not told when I got my estimates.
Finally after 4 trips to Neil's and 2 more trips to another shop, my car was fixed.
I would not recommend going to this shop at all! Go to a name brand place even if you have to wait or make 2 trips to get an estimate first. Get a new rental, it will be worth your while and save you big money. read more
