Neiman's did a great job at taking care of me while I was on my search for my bridal gown. I didn't end up purchasing here but I truly loved my experience. Only thing that I wish was different, now this was probably because I went alone, was that I was able to walk the floor with the stylist nor was I allowed to leave the room I was in. I was a little confused as to where my guest would sit, if I did bring any, since there was a couch and chairs in the room but I was also changing in there. Only then that! I completed a survey that NM sent me - it was positive. I received a very nice thank you note (email) from Rusty who is the store's Vice President and General Manager (per his footer title). Well after that I emailed Rusty thinking he would help with a different / separate experience at NM. Suddenly Rusty wasn't as customer friendly. I emailed Rusty a few times after asking if he would help me with returning a pair of shoes. I ordered the Louboutin shoes in the store to be delivered because they didn't have my size. I was traveling when the shoes arrived. My son placed them in my closet after they shipped to my house. One day I thought I'll wear my new Louboutin shoes today. Well I tried them on and didn't like them. I eventually made it to the store to return or exchange the shoes. I had NEVER worn them out. They were still brand new. Well due to their new 30day return policy they wouldn't take the shoes back. After several attempts to ask for Rusty's help he pretty much ignored me and turned it over to his Admin who called me. She was very matter of fact, seemed annoyed, short and never helped. She said she'd call me back to let me know what they would do to help me. At that point I was even ok with a less-than-the amount-I-paid store credit. She never contacted me again. I'm shocked by this. I even tried calling her - voice mail of course. They were happy as long as I was buying and giving a good survey response, but as soon as I needed help, NOPE. They don't take kindly to a pricey return. YIKES No thanks to this store. I'll keep going to other stores in Highland Village - folks are always friendly there - not conditionally friendly - including the Louboutin store in Highland Village. read more

One of the best N.M.'s I have ever been to...they have a great selection. Never too crowded and customer service is always great. Today I was helped by two women by the name of MiMi and Sue in fragrance - they were by far the sweetest women I have ever had the pleasure of being helped by. I was in a rush to get some cologne with kids in tow and they went above and beyond to not only help entertain my kids but they also helped me pick out the prefect scent. This location needs work. I found the staff to be unhelpful and rude. However, I did manage to find some nice cologne. Also, I was helped by Audray in the men's department. She asked about the cost of my Psycho Bunny polo, which I was wearing at the time, and a few other details. Why did she need to know the price of my clothing? Really? I seriously think they hire crazy people at this store. Anyway, this is a store for the older bunch, and it's grossly overpriced. I prefer to shop at Nordstroms or online. I literally live 8mins away and I always pass this Neimans up to go to the NorthPark location (with very good reason). They need to close this location down for a good month and restaff this place. Did they get their staff from Walmart? They are totally, unknowledgeable about their products and make you feel like a burden when asking for specific products. I HATE THIS LOCATION WITH PASSION! The store manager needs to coach the whole store, maybe he should spend a day at NorthPark to see how his staff is really supposed to treat customers. I literally had an associate make eye contact with me as I was looking for assistance and the dumb blonde carried on with her conversation (WITH ANOTHER ASSOCIATE might I add) and totally ignored me! Same thing happened at the La Mer counter. Just because I'm young (and bla...Nvm) doesn't mean I can't afford anything. I literally sit on $50 undies. Visited the Men's department to buy a new suit. Could not find sales assistance anywhere. There was only sales person for the entire men's department. I literally walked around for 20 minutes trying to find someone to help me. I have been to this store a couple of times and both times finding help was next to impossible. I expect more from Neimans. I love the old school shopping experience, which is what you get at NM. I have always had a good experience here even though I don't look like a "lady who lunches". In fact I purposely dress down in work out clothes and trainers, with no make up and a hat when I shop. This way I can root out the snooty salesclerk who pre-judges customers. Most departments are very friendly and helpful. I don't feel like I'm harassed and I don't feel ignored either. At times, the place is almost museum-like in quietness, which I thoroughly enjoy. I also appreciate that I can take a nice break from leisure shopping to have a glass of bubbly, consomé, popover and a nice salad. I like that I have a chance to find nice quality things that I will keep for decades and at times at very good sale prices. read more

I actually like this Neiman's better than other locations; the sales people are less obnoxious. That being said, they still sport that haughty air of "unless you can prove to me that you have a million dollars in your pocket right now, you aren't worth my time". The irony that a sales person working on commission would take this attitude with anybody who has enough money to purchase the outrageously priced items at Neiman's, is not lost on me. All complaints aside, if you can get past the snobbery, Neiman's simply has so many beautiful items, including such a large collection of designer clothes. I shop at Neimans because of the quality of the items and choose to ignore the pushy and sometimes less than pleasant sales people and atmosphere! read more

I moved from Dallas to Virginia ten years ago. There's a Neiman's at Tyson's Corner (1.5 hrs from my house). Don't go there often. Instead. I fly to Dallas to shop at this location. That should tell you enough. No, then I'll continue!! If I need something in between trips, I call my Sales Associate (Janet Pate) and she sends me what I need! Shopping at its best. More easily accessibly than downtown location, not snobby like Northpark. Return policy: you don't like it, return it! Easy deal. read more

Neiman mark up for a reason. Spent a bunch of money within weeks (maybe not to them) but almost 8-10k in one month. Spent hours with staff to surprise my wife with gift on a special day they promised would arrive. 14 days notice. Never got a call and showed up in store to be told they could not deliver and the apology was a free lunch. Insulting to say the least. Olga told me that's the best she could do. On November 30th (Saturday) we were in the Willow Bend store, as we entered the cosmetic area we were stopped by sales people selling a massage tool. With an anniversary coming that week we purchased, after paying they said sorry we don't have this item in stock but it will ship on Monday from the Fort Worth store. My husband said fine as long as we receive by Thursday (Dec. 5th) that will be fine. The salesperson assured us we would have no later than tues-wed. We Received the item December 9th! They hadn't even bothered to ship until four days after we paid and then during an ice storm. Apparently since the bad weather followed the ship date not the purchase Neiman Marcus feels they fulfilled their sale. Sad way to do business. After returning I will be sure to avoid this store and the less than honest salesperson. read more

This shop is so much better than the Galleria store. It's much smaller, but the sales people are much friendlier and helpful if an item needs to be ordered. The thing that also makes this store stand out is that they answer their phone! I called 2 different LV stores and neither of them answered their phone. I've shopped at The Willow Bend location many times and it has never been jam packed with people and the selection is always great! Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a department store!! It took Neiman Marcus almost 2 weeks (and 6 phone calls from me) to credit funds back to my credit card for an order that I cancelled the same day it was placed. Apparently if you place an order with Neiman Marcus and cancel the order your credit card funds are still available in their system for sales people to place new unauthorized purchases. read more

BEWARE MOMS! UNFRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT! We use to think this Neiman Marcus was the nicest place to shop until our most recent shopping experience. We had just made a large purchase at this store and my little infant started crying uncontrollably so I ducked into a fitting room to try to calm him down. There must have been 5 or 6 open fitting rooms and not a single customer in sight. While I was trying to calm my baby down, a store associate came up to me and said that their fitting rooms are for "Neiman Marcus customers only". She was trying to kick us out while my baby was still crying really hard. WOW! Unbelievable! I should have asked her to return my purchase but instead asked her if she wanted to see my receipt. My husband and I are never shopping at this location again. We live in the Plano area but we'll make the drive to North Park Mall to avoid this type of treatment in the future. I must disagree with some of the other high star ratings here. The last two times I went to this location to make a purchase in the cosmetics and handbag department, I was ignored...quite obviously. Eventually a nice sales associate from across the department noticed me and asked me if they could help, but this was after ten min of being clearly looked at and ignored by other associates who either continued to visit with another employee or went about some other business besides kindly asking me if I needed help...and I did by the way. I now think twice about entering this store. It depends on whether or not I am prepared for completely unpredictable customer service. When looking for high quality goods and being willing to pay high dollar amounts, I expect consistently high quality customer service. This evening I went to Neiman Marcus at Willowbend to purchase perfume. I specifically wanted a new Jo Malone fragrance. Anyone who has purchased Jo Malone may know that it does take some time because the fragrances are created to mix and match with body creams. If anyone from NM reads this the sales person who was there all alone and not busy around 7:30pm is the subject of this complaint. After a few short moments with me, she suddenly stopped and beckoned a mom and daughter over and recognized the Bucky's T-shirt daughter was wearing. She commenced to disregard me and started talking about Buckys with the other people who weren't even purchasing perfume. I assumed within a few minutes she would see I was still there. She didn't. I finally left and she barely said anything, she certainly didn't apologize for rudeness. I felt it was incredibly disrespectful and fully intended to go back and speak to the store manager; however, the store closed before 9pm tonight not sure why. I have been a NM cardholder for years and never have I experienced such lack of service and disrespect. I will not purchase anything in cosmetics from this location again! Maybe this a re-training opportunity for NM. But, the store may want to understand as consumers we have lots of choices where to spend our money, and this store because of that sales person will not get my money again. And, I will share my experience with anyone. For reference, I am a professional female in my 50s and I am very brand loyal, until today, when I am not. read more
