Nekter is clean and I was greeted upon walking in. I ordered a mango acai build your own bowl. I like that they blend it up fresh for each person ordering. I chose strawberries, pineapple, hempseed granola, coconut and agave on top. I began eating my howl the pineapple was pretty bitter because it was definitely cut too soon. I went back and had the pineapple switched out for strawberry instead and that made a difference. The bowl had a good consistency and I enjoyed it. I would say it's pricy for the fact that they don't give you so much fruit so I'd like to see a little more fruit on my bowl next time. Stopped by yesterday in a rush - definitely do not recommend if you are wanting something quick. It's just not the type of juice bar with quick service due to their menu complexity. The menu and items themselves are great. Ingredients are flavorful and delicious. We ordered a smoothie that they got wrong - I ordered the summer raspberry with dole whip smoothie and they made me a raspberry smoothie without dole whip. My wife's mini parfait was made with no issues. Service was fine, just a bit slow. Its a small place. 2 workers were there when we arrived and they were making two other orders before us. I just stopped by for a smoothie bowl and I was pretty shocked at my experience. I ordered a dragon fruit bowl and added a layer of vanilla chia seed pudding to it. The cashier couldn't find that on her screen for some reason, so she charged me for almond butter instead and made a note to add the chia seeds. So, I get my bowl and there is almond butter instead of chia seed pudding it in. I tell the man working there who made the bowl and he scoops the topping off with a spoon and re-does it with chia seed pudding!! I expected him to remake the bowl, and the location was not busy at all, but he didn't even do that. Thankfully I am not allergic to almonds, but I can't imagine how it could've gone if they did this to someone who did have a nut allergy. I don't like almond butter and even as I am eating it now, I can still taste it slightly. I thoroughly have enjoyed this juice bar over the years and it is just getting better and better. I come here usually post workout for refreshment. I see reviews on the customer service, but the gal was sweet in the morning and got me in and out of there. That's all I ask for so thank you. I love that they use all natural ingredients and it is health conscious without added chemicals and/or sugars. The pink smoothie is probably my fave however I've tried their acai bowls as well. They load those bad boys up pretty good so if you need adjustments let them know. They also have $1 wellness shots so right now the IMMUNITY one is the way to go with cold/flu season upon us. Load up on those vitamins and nutrients peeps it will do you good. This location is pretty convenient for me in the mornings so I scoot on over there after a workout at BMF. Staff is great but District Manager at his/her discretion disables the "build your own juice" option which I use & order the same juice every time. Then they forget to reactivate it. I sent my husband to pickup a Celery Aid and a 2oz ginger shot from this location today 3/I7. I ordered a 2oz ginger shot, I was not given 2oz. It was actually closer to 1oz. I measured it!!! Also, the ginger shot was dark cloudy green in color. I've had many ginger shots from Nekter and other juicing stores in the past and I have never before had it be green in color and I have never seen green ginger. Unreal!!! Also, the celery aid is terribly. It's super sour and taste like I just got a cup of lemon juice. I literally just had these same 2 items from another Nekter location yesterday (8255 Preston Rd) and both were perfect. I came out of work on a Saturday afternoon and decided to be healthy and try the acai bowl here. This was my first time ever coming and I ordered the mango acai bowl. This bowl included many of the things that I liked such as banana, coconut flakes, pineapples, and more! I thought it was delicious and the ingredients were blended in perfectly well. The workers here were welcoming as well! The lady at the register gave me suggestions on what to get for the first time and she was right! I didn't regret getting the mango acai bowl at all. Next time, I'm deciding on trying the acai with peanut butter as I heard it was quite popular and good. The place was clean and has a cute "nektar" sign that's great for pictures. This is THE WORST Nekter location I have ever gone to. Seeing the latest reviews should be brought to corporates attention. I stopped in to get a bowl and the employee, Brei was every rude. A new customer walks in and we are both waiting several minutes for someone to emerge. Brei was called up and I asked for her name and manager info. She smiled and told me. I asked her to write it down please and she told me no. She then walked away to the back again. I guest that walked in after me was shocked. I was shocked. I then asked for the other employee to help with a refund. Apparently Brei walked to the back and called the manager. The manager didn't speak to me and had her provide an email address to contact. I'm obsessed with this place and eat here for lunch at least twice a week. The açaí bowels are super fresh and filling. I've never been disappointed by the quality or service. Today I went for my favorite açaí mango bowl--sweet and delicious. Sometimes the amount of granola added to these bowels are never consistent, so I waited to order an extra serving to see if it was necessary. Well, the bowl needed more, so I asked Piwa how much the charge would be. She was so kind to give me a complimentary serving. I would not have mind paying extra after paying the first time. The bowls were always so good however recently we've had a really bad experience at the Dallas Pkwy location. Friday we had order 2 almond butter bowls split into two which made almost 20 minutes to make and by the time we had left the location two out of four bowls were so melted and watery. Resembled soup or cereal. Today we called ahead and spoke to Alexis, one of the employees on the phone, who told us we could get it remade and halfway into the drive started interrogating us about our order. which we complyed to as it was very understandable. After driving 20 minutes, showing our digital copy of receipt, and our attempted call on friday (nobody at the store answered) he denied us to make the bowl.
