The bowls were always so good however recently we've had a really bad experience at the Dallas Pkwy location. Friday we had order 2 almond butter bowls split into two which made almost 20 minutes to make and by the time we had left the location two out of four bowls were so melted and watery. Resembled soup or cereal. Today we called ahead and spoke to Alexis, one of the employees on the phone, who told us we could get it remade and halfway into the drive started interrogating us about our order. which we complyed to as it was very understandable. After driving 20 minutes, showing our digital copy of receipt, and our attempted call on friday (nobody at the store answered) he denied us to make the bowl. I thought this was a negative and unnecessary response to a human error. We were very understanding and left, but this was not a pleasant experience. read more

Nekter is a great place to get a nutrient packed smoothie/acai bowl that not only is extremely healthy, but it also has massive flavor. I absolutely love how tasty the acai bowl is because it comes with granola and bananas, so it has texture and is extremely healthy. I also get the Banana Boost, which is a great way to get all the greens you need but with great flavor. Plus, you can order and pay from the app, so it makes it much easier to order. However, make sure that you leave at least 15-20 minutes if you're ordering both online or in-store because they pretty backed up. read more

I recently had Nektar Bar for the first time and and I fell in love. I've since tried the Acai Banana Berry Bowl (add peanut butter inside), Peanut Butter Bowl, and Dragon Fruit Bowl (add almond butter on top). Each of these orders came out to around $10-11. My favorite out of the three was probably the Peanut Butter Bowl. I used to never like peanut butter flavored things, but the way they make these is so delicious. The peanut butter flavor is pretty subtle and not overwhelming. The ingredients all taste really fresh and is the perfect breakfast or midday snack. The Acai Banana Berry Bowl and Peanut Butter Bowl taste very similar. The Dragon Fruit Bowl was a little less sweet than the other two and was tangier. I actually really enjoy dragon fruit as a whole, but you can't really distinguish the flavor when it's blended into the bowl. All in all, fresh and wholesome meal replacement option! read more

For context, I eat smoothie bowls all the time from various places and have tried Nekter a few times, but try not to bc tbh they're overpriced and their blends are pretty bland and their goji berries for some reason tastes like crap compared to other places. I got the açaí bowl with extra "mixed berries" inside. The ENTIRE smoothie part was half ass blended, with a huge block of frozen açaí blend, and WHOLE kale and spinach leaves all up in it. I didn't realize I ordered a salad?? Also they for some reason added green apples on top when that's not in the description, and didn't have any of the agave on top making the whole thing even more unappetizing. Let me start by saying I've never had an issue at this location until today!!! I placed my order online 20 minutes before I arrive. I order oatmeal, juice, and ginger shot. She's like I'm not having an attitude or being rude. Meanwhile she's rolls her neck/eyes. This girl has no manners let alone customer service. She needs to be fired!!!!!!!! I guess for it being a weekday and with its location that I did not anticipate this place to be uber busy. Luckily, my drink was quick to make, but do feel the angst, if I had to wait even longer. If I could give zero stars I would, this establishment treated my girlfriend and I horrendously when our ordered was inputed incorrectly. Raffi, the manager on duty on this Thursday afternoon completely blew both myself and my girlfriend off when we tried to explain that the smoothie she received was incorrect. Their app needs and entire rewrite and completely new management. What I can only assume were heterosexual , mid 20's females were the management and staffs main focus. We were NOT offered a new smoothie, or even a simple refund. I feel I can speak for myself and my girlfriend, we were entirely discriminated against based on sexual orientation. We were asked to stand next to the wall closest to the BATHROOM while we wait an excruciating and frankly unacceptable amount of time for two simple smoothies(half of which ingredients such as pineapple, hemp protein and bee pollen were missing., WHICH WE GET EVERYTIME!) that we ordered and , mind you, PAID FULL PRICE FOR. My girlfriend and I have spent well over 600$ purchasing and raving about Nektars products. I am absolutely heart broken, humiliated and disappointed to have been so publicly discriminated against. Update - since this last review they have really upped their game on customer service and their new offerings are delicious. I rarely do this but in fairness I'm raising my stars to them. Previous review - The juices are amazing - the service sucks. This is our resident place to get juices and açaí bowls for convenience - however werethere to be competition we would switch in a heart beat. The servers rarely smile and no matter how you place the order (phone, app etc) they never have the orders made ahead of time.
