I guess my issue it why would an establishment not schedule more people, or not ensure that there was at least two people handling the food and smoothies? I come to this Nékter location about twice a week and my experience is always great. Isaiah is one of the best employees I have encountered in a long time. He is always working hard to get the orders fulfilled and is very kind. Everyone should be able to start their day with a friendly interaction and Isaiah always provides that. He makes this location the best Nekter location I have been to. I hope that he is shown appreciation from other customers and the company as well. Shout out to him for being great especially when it's early in the morning! Any place making your food or drinks made to order should be given grace when items may take a bit longer. I felt so bad at how understaffed the location was and that he had to do literally everything by himself for me and the other customers who were also waiting. I was a regular here at nectar juice bar, but I haven't come in the last eight months. Apparently a lot has changed. Looks like all the fun, energetic, vibrant people no longer work there. The billboard inside is empty and it looks like most of the product wasn't even on the shelves as it was before. Before I came in I opened up my app and reloaded everything so I can use it. The top thin female with glasses wait waited on me and I had some questions about some fresh juice. She had no idea. She looked around, asked a guy that was making some drink drinks, but he was unsure as well. I also asked about the rewards on the app, she told me that they no longer use the app or the points anymore, and she confirmed it with the guy that was making the drinks and said that they phased it out. So I bought the purple lemonade that was on the shelf, which was not good. But I also requested a cup of ice, but the attendant went into the back and was talking to the other associate so getting my ice took longer that expected. It's a shame to learn that the rewards of the app are being phased out. I don't think I'll go back. read more

The employee I spoke with was not the sharpest tool in the shed. When I come to Nekter, I expect knowledgeable staff who can answer questions about the nutrition facts of the products you offer, especially when it's a nutrition-forward type establishment. When I asked how much protein (mg) is in a +$1.00 scoop of protein, the employee wasn't able to answer this question. I asked if she at least had the nutrition label for the type of protein powder they use, she said no. Next, she asked if I wanted to add protein to my "protein smoothie". I asked if there was already protein in the smoothie because the menu specifically labels each protein smoothie with the amount of protein each shake offers. She said, none of the protein smoothies has protein in them and that if I wanted protein, it would be an added charge. What?! Sign on the door says "under new management". MANAGEMENT - please offer more training for your staff. Lastly, both our protein smoothies with the $1.00 added protein was super watered down. The PB Mocha, despite having agave and vanilla in it, was not sweet at all. Not only are you uninformed about your products, you're not making the drinks properly either. Paid $24+ for 2 crappy smoothies and I'm not confident with what's in our drinks. Very uncomfortable feeling. 3 stars for the employees for at least being polite in their uninformed responses. read more

I usually like to start my mornings on a positive note. I came in to Nectar the other morning. This is how my experience went .... I visited recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. Tables were sticky, and there were visible spills that hadn't been cleaned up. It gave an overall impression of neglect. The management seemed unprofessional. They were disorganized and seemed indifferent to customer service. Speaking of employees, they looked miserable. It was evident that morale was low among them. They seemed overworked and underappreciated, which affected their interactions with customers. To top it off, the drink I ordered tasted horrible. It was not prepared properly and did not meet my expectations at all. Overall, my visit was not pleasant. I hope these issues are addressed soon for the sake of both customers and staff. read more

Once I noticed new management I decided to give it another try. The new manager Jason has been very welcoming and great with suggestions. But I know it pissed my boyfriend off when he paid for two bowls and they weren't full like they normally were. But overall it's coming together better than before. I stopped by on a Tuesday at 11:30 am. Parking right in front of the shop was easy. Aside from the 2 employees, i was the only one there. I know that Nektar locations are franchised and independently owned, so in my opinion, this location has taken a turn for the worst. I actually had given them a 4 star at one point, then things went down hill. 1) I arrived 15 min. before closing, and they turned me away. They claimed they were too busy, and didn't want any more business, since they were closing. This rude and entitled generation has NO CLUE how to take care of the customer. They are too entitled and selfish. I did nothing, and thought it was an isolated insistent. So I moved on and went to their competition, who was open 1 hour longer than them. 2) Came back a couple days later, and they would not take credit cards, so cash was the only way to pay. I saw 6 people leave when I pulled up as well, since they also wanted to pay with credit cards. 3) Went back again to see if things have changed, and now they are not serving fresh juices, and pushing smoothies only.
