*Butter Loco Moco *Matcha Honey Latte (1/2 Sweetness + Almond Milk)
    Marisa Q.

Butter Cafe and Bakery *June 30th, 2026 *8am - Tuesday *3 Stars Environment: *Moderate Sized Parking Lot *Friendly and Helpful Staff *Inside and Outside Seating *Large Interior Space *No Wifi Food/Drinks: *Butter Loco Moco *Matcha Honey Latte (1/2 Sweetness + Almond Milk) Went here with a friend for breakfast and hoping to get some work done afterward. The space felt like it would have been perfect for that since there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a large interior area. Unfortunately, we found out there was no Wi-Fi available, so we ended up not being able to stay and work like we had planned. I ordered the Butter Loco Moco and the Matcha Honey Latte with almond milk at half sweetness. The food was okay overall, though it was a little saltier than my preference and felt like there was more rice than anything else in the dish. The matcha latte was actually the highlight for me. The staff was also very friendly throughout the visit. Overall, it was a decent breakfast spot, but probably not the best choice if you're looking for a place to work remotely.

Breakfast sandwich (bacon) with tater tots. I think this was on Hawaiian Bread

What a delicious find. I was in the area for an appointment and I drove by this place. Once, was able to safely park in their lot, I looked up the menu online and was immediately impressed. The staff is amazing. They are there to help you and answer all your questions. The location is clean and has ample of seating inside and out. I'm not sure if I heard soft music in the background or it just felt peaceful in there. I think I'll "accidentally" drive by again..... soon

    Breakfast burrito with ham

We came at opening and there was little to no line! I had the breakfast burrito with ham and my friend had the kahlua pork hash. Both were tasty. My breakfast burrito was HEAVY and I very much appreciated that it wasn't stuffed with fillers, and the tater tots were little pops of joy. I also had the matcha with banana cream. It was good, nothing special. I was bummed they were out of the pandan foam - I would've liked to try it. Staff was kind. In my opinion, just a tad pricey for an order at the counter and sit down.

    Chilaquiles

I have no words to describe the place itself, or the taste of the food, aside from WOW!!! I loved it, and it was our first time ever being there. I had taken my boyfriend out for his birthday and we couldn't decide on what to have for the morning before our plan for the day so we came across this amazing place last minute and we both enjoyed it! Filling, but worth it in my opinion. We want to go back for sure sometime soon! I got the chilaquiles and everything from texture to the spice and all ingredients, meshed well together! My boyfriend got the French toast a with tater tot's and he enjoyed every last bite. Customer service was to the max, very sweet and let us know what was most popular (the burrito is one , trying that next time, looks good!!!) the place itself was so chill but very welcoming, can't wait to go back! I couldn't decide on a coffee but I will be trying that next also!

    Kevin's Breakfast Sandwich

Butter Cafe... HOW do you keep doing this?! Came back again and had Kevin's Breakfast Sandwich (pictured) and WOW--this thing is next level. Stacked with prosciutto, pesto, garlic mayo, arugula, provolone, and egg... every single bite hits. That pesto + garlic mayo combo?! Absolutely ridiculous--in the best way possible. Do yourself a favor and ask for extra garlic mayo... trust me. Then I tried the gluten-free "almost flourless" lemon cake (pictured) and I was NOT ready. Mind officially blown. It's light, not overly sweet, and that lemon + almond combo is insanely good. Like... I'm still thinking about it. Butter Cafe does not miss. At all. Chill, cozy ambiance, and the staff always has that genuinely happy, good vibes energy that just makes you want to come back. Already looking forward to the next visit

soo delicious. got a breakfast biscuit (that was very egg heavy, still good however) and tots on the side. also not pictured was an iced matcha latte that was very good and perfectly green (iykyk) the biscuit was HUGE and we got a big serving of tots as well. I really like this little cafe. They also had a ton of yummy options for baked goods. Service was great :) we will be back to try other things!

Get the potatoes!!! These are the best potatoes I have ever had in my life. They were crunchy with a soft center and piled high with my omelette. My kids both got the kids pancake breakfast and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. Every thing is served on disposable dishware and take out utensils. The restaurant has about 12 tables, but not good for large groups. It's pretty packed on weekends, but a table usually opens up fairly quick. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meal ran us about $60.

Such a cute cafe and bakery. I can for lunch and had the Adobo Rice. It was SO flavorful, I am craving it again as I write this review! Also got their chai iced coffee and the gluten-free lemon almond cake. Even though not knowingly I walked it just before closing I was quickly attended to and served. They were so kind about it too! Thank you for not pushing me out even though it was almost closing time. Next time ... I want to try breakfast like the Ube pancakes

Wow ,,,, all these tater tots could feed a small army or a very heavy set family... just saying.
    Isaac B.

Wow ,,,, delicious ! I had the breakfast sandwich with tater tots . Everything is fresh and excellent. The staff that work there are very nice. They greet you with a smile and are just very polite. Always a plus . This little café is really clean. The seats are comfortable. It has a really cool mellow atmosphere that just invites a nice relaxing time. They have seating outside, so if you want to sit in the patio area and just enjoy the day. I totally recommend checking this place out if you're in the area or you haven't. (side note) I drive past this place almost days because of my job and I was feeling like a breakfast sandwich and this one came up on yelp in my area.... And I was not disappointed at all. just some good food nice atmosphere and the price is reasonable. (crunch crunch crunch) me eating tater tots

The Good Samaritan... Whomever you are THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... I had breakfast at Butter Cafe this morning and left my wallet with all credit cards , ID and cash. I didn't realize I had left my wallet behind until I got home. I quickly return and the host recognized me and told me someone found my wallet and returned it. Whomever you are...you are an exceptional individual and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Also thank you to the host who didn't take my recognition tip... You both made my day.

Stopped by here on Saturday morning and it was great. The food was delicious. The breakfast burrito was loaded and had a nice balance of eggs, potatoes and sausage. The French toast were loaded and moist. The restaurant was packed but our food came out pretty quickly. There was plenty of seating inside and a little outside.

    Pandan French Toast combo
    Doreen T.

You place your order at the counter, and they call out your name when it's ready. The pandan French toast caught my eye, so I got it as part of a breakfast combo with eggs and spam. Unfortunately, it was just regular brioche bread with green food coloring--there wasn't a hint of pandan flavor, which was disappointing. I met up with a couple of friends who had a breakfast sandwich with crispy potatoes and a breakfast burrito, which looked like better options. My friend also ordered a side of tater tots, and it came in a huge, bucket-sized portion!

First time here, I love to try a different coffee places that I've never been to before and this place is exactly that. I went with the house favorite the cookie milk however I'm not a big fan of whole milk, so Maria suggested the oat with mocha, which was honestly very good. She offered great suggestions was very friendly and attentive, and even her suggested sounded really good when I let her know what I was looking For. Coffee taste, fresh and ready to order. I would definitely come back as she suggested the breakfast burrito.

Is this fine establishment pet friendly?

they have outside sitting on the side. you'll have enough space for your furry family.

Are they serving on regular dishes and in regular cups/glasses? At one point, because of covid, all food and drinks were on/in disposable containers.

No, they have stuck with the paper products.

Do you guys open for dine-in?

They are open for indoor seating and have a large covered tent outside with picnic style tables

Any gluten free options? Other than Ames and cookies?

Yeah, they have gluten free cakes and cookies.

According to Yelp, you have gluten-free options, I called and was told you don't, which is it?

If you have celiac I would not eat here! However, if you are just doing this as a dietary modification then yes there are options. I am GF most of the time and I will get eggs, meat, poutine( I'm not worried about the small amount of flour in the…

When I search Keto bakery this place pops up do they have Keto friendly foods?

You can make substitutions like a side salad or fruit instead of tots/taters. You can request adjustments to make it more Keto friendly. As far as their bakery items, you'll have to ask them.

    Is breakfast served all day?

Yes, but toward closing time, they can run out of items.

How much are the waffles/pancakes and the rest of the breakfast menu. Also, are the prices worth coming here?

I live on the East Coast and only go there when I'm in town to visit, so I don't have a menu handy to tell you--but I think omelettes run around $10, which seems average for the area. They are better-than-average tasting, though, and come with…

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. Overall, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a good, local neighborhood spot. It offers affordable choice that are prepared "good enough." I wouldn't drive a long distance for this spot, but it's a decent option if you're already nearby. 4.5 out of 5
