Not very good customer service at all. The man who checked us in and sat us at our table was extremely rude the entire time. Our server seemed very snappy. The food was okay, but nothing amazing. My husband and I were so thrilled to find a new place that offers brunch! We were not disappointed, either. Terrific service, friendly staff, and delicious food were all highlights of our first visit to Nellie's. I had the Farmer's Omelette, and everything about it was great. It came with a side of super-fluffy pancakes that just melted in my mouth my husband order the Monte Cristo, which was served in perfectly cooked French toast with large slices of ham. Both dishes were way more food than we could eat, and altogether with two drinks our meal was $22. We will certainly be back!! read more

Nice new place, went on a Monday and it was not crowded. Went with "the mob" a hearty bunch of men, and all agreed their breakfast was very good. Nice menu with skillets and different Benedicts plus other interesting offerings. Service was great, never seen so may servers taking care of things in one place! The boys in the mob never had an empty coffee cup! Someone was always there to top er off and check with you! Another plus was the interior that was nice and clean. It's away from the ambience of the Newburgh river front, but that's ok, it's definitely worth a try and several repeat visits! read more

I am usually a fan of Nellie's but today my vegetarian daughter joined me and picked around her dish. After pushing she finally shared that the dish had too much cheese and the veggies tasted old.
