I waited this long to write so that I can really see if the Job they did was a good quality job. All I can say is that I am ecstatic with the work they did. I Spoke with Adin and everything that we discussed from the beginning to end was completed with professionalism, honesty, and with no hesitation. The landscaping they did, which rerouted the water that would collect a the side of the house was done so well that even after the heaviest of rain the area is now completely dry within hours. Before the work was done, I had small swimming pools of water everywhere. They also took out the old concrete patio that I had and put in a new one. When it rains now the water slops away from the house and into the landscaping they did, which takes the water completely away from all areas of the house. I am so happy and satisfied with Pineda Stonework & Landscaping that I will be using them again for another job that I need done. All I can say about the work that they did for me is "Money Well Spent" and "Work Well Done". Thank you.

After scheduling, the scheduling manager continued to contact me numerous times, prior to our meeting, to confirm my availability, in which I double checked all the pieces above. Never was I told to allow for a 30minute window, so imagine my frustration when I blocked off an hour for work 2:00-3:00pm, and the guy showed up at 2:30pm, upset with me because I needed to end at 3:00pm. The estimate went quickly. I tried to cover everything we wanted, allowing time for him to take measurements, draw schematics, and have time for follow-up questions, but it felt disconnected and rushed. I was told we would schedule a follow-up Zoom appointment to walk through everything- I scheduled a time period with the scheduling manager, again blocking off work- only to have them call 20mins before the appointment and cancel on us because they weren't ready with information. Then I waited days for them to call back to re-schedule the appointment, but never got contacted. Overall, it wasn't a good relationship. We didn't feel cared for or considered as new clients, so we removed them as a possible vendor.

I released payment foolishly thinking that this seemingly small issue would be quickly resolved. It has now been more than a month. I sent this email to them today. "On February 4th, I notified that the caps were missing from my gate. I informed the lender of my satisfaction expecting great customer service and that this issue would be satisfied and in a decent timeframe. To date there has been no action taken and my texts are now going unanswered. There is also issues with the lock. If I knew the follow up would be this way, I never would have approved the lender to remit payment without having these issues fixed. I'm providing text correspondences that show the lack of communication and genuine concern with resolving what was a minor issue. I have been getting the run around and now nothing for more than a month".

It was pulling off my gutters and fascia board with it too. One more heavy wind situation, it was all coming down. Immediate help required. Some of the bigger roofing companies were too busy to get to me right away. I called Custom Home Exteriors. They didn't have a lot of reviews but the reviews they did have were rock solid so I thought I'd give them a shot. Glad I did. Wilfredo was able to come out the same day to inspect the job. We talked about what was needed for repair. He gave me a fair quote and was able to come back 2 days later. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I hired him. Wilfredo and his assistant did excellent work. Exceeded my expectations. My column, gutter and fascia board were repaired, looking good as new. I also had them put a covers on top of the open areas of the columns that should have been done when they were installed decades ago. Wilfredo didn't skimp on that job either. Went above and beyond. They neatly cleaned up when they were done. Wilfredo brought to my attention some of my other gutters were coming detached from the roof line and should be addressed at some point. I thanked him for his attention to detail. Preventative maintenance is cheaper than having to address problems after they occur. Wilfredo has earned my confidence. And without hesitation will be my first phone call for future such work.

Samco was one of the few companies to respond when I sent out inquiries recently about having my…read moredriveway (which was about 50+ years old) replaced. After some email contact, Sam Jr. and I got in touch, and he came out to give an estimate. Despite the age of the driveway, he said it was in decent condition and said there were 2 options. I could resurface the driveway at a cost of about $4.50 a square foot, or we could replace the driveway at an original cost of $7.00 a square foot. We went over the pros and cons of each option, and it made more sense (given the age of the driveway) to fully replace it. When he gave me the written estimate, he had knocked a bit of the cost off, and it was down to about $6.10 a square foot. He knew I had some other contractors scheduled, and was polite about it. Later that evening, he gave me a call, and since they were going to be in the area on a job, he was able to get the price down to about $5.00 a square foot. At that point, I jumped on the deal, as that price was only a minimal amount more than the resurfacing would have cost. Sam and the team showed up on time the day of the appointment and went over things one last time. Their work was professional and quick. They take care to ensure straight edges, and that cracks (such as between the garage, porch, and sidewalk and the driveway were filled in. They also elevated the driveway a touch as the grass line was higher that the original driveway. But there is still plenty of slope for the driveway as well. We got some strong storms last night (and overnight), but the driveway was bone-dry this morning, instead of the usual puddles and lakes that would form after a storm on the old driveway. I would peek out at them as they were working, and Sam was always fully involved working on something, including getting down on his hands and knees when needed to check a spot or correct something. Their clean up was just as thorough and professional, and Sam gave me all the information needed for letting the driveway cure given the hot days we've been having. All in all, I'm highly satisfied with the job they did, and would highly recommend them for any residential paving need.
