If I could give Hunter and the team at Petrich Arbor Care more than five stars, I would…read more We've lived on our six-acre property for 18 years, and we've always had only a peek-a-boo view of Mount Rainier through the trees. After Hunter and his crew finished their work, that completely changed. They carefully pruned, limbed, and removed a few smaller trees that were blocking the view, and now we can see Mount Rainier in all its glory. Hunter was incredibly meticulous. He spent a great deal of time studying the view, looking at the mountain, and determining exactly which trees needed to be trimmed and how far back they should go. Everything was done with care, patience, and purpose. He listened to what we wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and clearly takes tremendous pride in his work. The transformation is incredible. We can now sit outside on our porch or at our table in the middle of the yard, enjoy a meal, and take in the majestic beauty of Mount Rainier. My wife can even enjoy the view from her greenhouse. Looking back, we both agree we should have done this years ago. Hunter's crew was professional, courteous, hardworking, and highly skilled. They had all the right equipment, worked safely and efficiently, and treated our property with care and respect from start to finish. Hunter's father did outstanding work for us many years ago, and it's wonderful to see that same commitment to quality carried on by the next generation. The owner came back to get some money because the starter went out in their truck. The workers came back and worked for 2 hours and left again. They came back the next day finished cutting and were never seen since. They only worked a total of 6 hours. They did a crappy job, broke the fence with a limbs and butchered many of the shrubs with falling limbs. They were paid half the money and left all the mess. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

I am far from a professional when it comes to IT installations, but I know enough to be dangerous. And after getting quotes to install ethernet in my 1980s circa home, one never wired for ethernet, one that just went through a significant renovation where I, in my supreme wisdom said "WiFi is great, now! Who need hardwires anymore?" was now faced with retrofitting several rooms and office with ethernet and said, this guy over here, the independent with a normal sounding company name, yeah - lets go with him! Mistake!! After schedule, and reschedule, and delays, and reschedule, we got nowhere with contractor number one. Meanwhile, Roberto and Peter at Those Tech Guys had patiently followed up several times, continued to be pleasant and professional, and AFTER I said no thank you I am going to go with someone else! So I made the dreaded call back - "So remember when I said if things change . . . " Peter was quick to jump on the phone, and walk me through things at every step. Gave me a highly competitive bid, and an install time of only a few days from when I called. They cam onsite, were clean courteous, and efficient. They played with my dog (I mean who doesn't love a bowling ball Staffy Bull Terrier mix?) and made light work of the install, and the final cost (with tip!) was even below the initial quote. This was made possible as Peter walked my home and together we found opportunities to do things more quickly, and save a few dollars along the way. In the end, I didn't choose Those Tech Guys first, but you should. No regrets here, other than I should have picked them first!

So, a few weeks ago a local handyman I know contacted GT for me and their estimator was out a week later. We negotiated a great deal, signed a contract that day and scheduled the work to be done whenever the wind and rain finally took a break. That day was today! The GT crew showed up at 8 AM and worked as a coordinated team of roofing ninjas. They tore off the old comp, replaced rotted plywood over the eves, laid down new laminated "paper", hand nailed the new much more attractive modern style composition roofing shingles, the old roof ridge vent, the boots around the plumbing vents, added flashing, and, naturally, they cleaned up every speck of debris from the tear-off. The last truck rolled away just before 1 PM, so in less than 5 hours they did an impressive job from start to finish. My husband and I couldn't be happier about the incredibly professional work GT Roofing did for us!
