Made with buckwheat flour, each piece has a slight nuttiness and toastiness to it. The traditional maple syrup-infused butter and powdered syrup elevate the flavor profile. Additional toppings available (Nutella, whipped cream, strawberry slices, pumpkin butter, sprinkles, etc.) for additional charge. I also ordered a stroopwafel, which was tasty but not made to order.
