Worst security ever! Zoom in and there's a guy with shorts dancing right at the main entrance!

Long story short, if you are not Cuban, don't come here! Been working in industry for 17 years, Miami, Jacksonville, Atlanta, San Francisco, Huntington Beach! Me and two friends decided to meet a couple of coworkers who were already here! Two of us had shorts on! We approached the security with our ids and the security told us we couldn't go in because of our shorts! Not to worry, as we are leaving we see a guy inside with shorts dancing with a lady! So we go back and asked him. How come there's a guy right at the front door with shorts on but we couldn't get in! Once we asked him and he had a second to think and replied to you with "he's the owner's son! And just because you are asking me now you won't go in at all". We didn't argue and just left! But felt unjust! We just wanted to make other people aware of the situation

I have only great things to say about this place! The atmosphere is a nice vibe with lots of bar seating space as well as low top table options. There is a stage where they host live music every night which is a wonderful touch! Firstly, I would like to say that they have some kind of deal each day, but the best would be Mondays where they have 50% off all menu items including food and drinks! The pisco sour is my favorite cocktail - the strawberry basil touch makes it very tasty and special! I ordered the oysters and skirt steak which were both very good! My friends ordered other menu items and all of them looked great and there was very little talking around the table once the food came, which you know means the food was great! I'm looking forward to come back here again! Pro tip- I would get there early since it does get very popular later in the evening.

Quick trip down to Miami to get away from the hurricane. I had a hankering for a steak salad and I found one in their menu when browsing restaurants. The space is nice and open with a small raised stage for live music (unfortunately none this night). There appears to be a little balcony above it with a DJ booth, the wall behind it decorated with old cigar boxes. My steak salad was great! It was completely different from any I'd had in the past, as it was heavily Caribbean-influenced (tangy and spicy dressing, plantain chips, fried yucca instead of croutons). The steak was cooked just how I ordered it, nicely seared outside and juicy inside. My wife was happy with her fried tostones absolutely jam-packed with avocado, and sweet potato fries. Prices were normal for Miami, portion sizes ok. Service was great. I'd definitely come back for a date night with good food and some live music.

Really cool bar/restaurant. Neme is an excellent choice when looking for a good night out with friends. Always great music and awesome food. Whether you are looking for a big meal or just small bites Neme is the place. Their tuna tartare is very good as it is the burrata salad. Crab cakes are good but definitely not their best dish. I would say that their service, drinks and ambiance is the best in the area. Crowd is usually adults and young professionals alike. There isn't like a dance area but many customers just dance near the entrance or anywhere they find a space. Definitely worth coming here. Fun place, great food.

Came here on a Friday night looking for some jazz. It was hard to get in touch with the restaurant over the phone, but we got seated without a reservation. It turns out...they don't play jazz every night. The night we were there was a live band playing the top hits. While it wasn't jazz, we had a wonderful time with the band, and the female singer's voice was amazing. Food-wise was average. We went with the fan-favorite - Tostones con Avocado. Ummm, there was a generous amount of avocado over the tostones, but I prefer just simple tostones with garlic lemon sauce. We also got the escargot to share - it was good, but nothing to write home about. But the restaurant was very accommodating with my friend's dietary restrictions. We also got some tacos to share - but both the tuna and the skirt steak were just too salty and overpriced (3 tacos for $18! And I live in NYC). As for drinks, if you like mojitos, stick with the guava flavor (or the classic). The passion fruit was way too sour and light. Overall, the experience was great, and our servers were friendly. But I would adjust my expectations for the food here.

So happy to back at Neme Gastropub !! Hadn't been here since before the Pandemic and I am glad to report that it is still Awesome!! We got there early for Happy Hour to enjoy the Specials. And then Ordered some Tuna Tacos that were very delicious but PETITE So make sure you don't share I also ordered the Scallops which brings 5 pieces and are seared to perfection. And for our entree we ordered the Mixed Platter with Pork , Steak and Chicken. Definitely a great choice to enjoy different types of meats with a side of potatoes

Tonight's outing was with childhood friends. We went to a neighborhood local with a live band. Lucky us it was early and it was happy hour. Food & service was very good. We had wines and appetizers. It was extremely inexpensive. Remember we were at happy hour. All good and spirits 1/2 price. The live band was a bit loud which made it difficult to converse, so we took the party home. Total laughs and giggles. It's a possibility we return..

It is what it is, another small swanky bar nestled in between Brickell and the Gables. This bar is right across the street from my workplace so I frequent it for happy hours. They have quite the extended happy hour (3pm-8pm) with half off drinks, $1 oysters and discounts on apps - a steal! I've been to Neme for both lunch and dinner a handful of times. Their menu is on the pricier side for above average but not amazing food, but they have great lunch specials and (here's the kicker) the entire menu is half off of Mondays! I always say: I will only have dinner at Neme's on Mondays! They play live jazz music every night which is an added plus. The service is up to par, quick and kind. The bar is also on point, even when they're rather busy. I probably wouldn't dine here if it weren't for their amazing specials.

Put a super awful taste in my mouth and really there are people in this city who probably need jobs and could carry tables and be polite. It may sound minor, but the fact someone couldn't say sorry and then made up a story to excuse himself for his carelessness was uncalled for. Treat others with respect. Do not hit a woman carelessly and not apologize.

I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

After hearing that they had one of the best burgers in Miami AND one of the best burgers in the USA, we HAD to stop in. I've had alligator before, and it's typically chewy, little cubed chunks fried in a thick batter. THIS -- this was absolutely delicious. Lightly breaded, strips of tender alligator - perfectly seasoned. Obsessed!! The sauces for dipping include a creamy garlic sauce and a classic Bang Bang, spicy sauce. Both are delicious and match perfectly with the bites. Our hostess recommended dragging the bites through the Old Bay seasoning and then dunking it in your choice of sauce -- and I have to say, that is definitely the superior way of eating these. The burgers: Johnny Utah and the Frita -- both are super delicious and I can see why they are famous. The Johnny Utah comes topped with beef pastrami (a win in my books!). The Frita has Guava Jelly which gives a special flavor to the experience. YUM YUM YUM! Numerous beers, wines, and more. She thoughtfully addressed every request, from warming up the bread to perfectly toasting it, small details that truly elevated the evening. The appetizers set the tone.. A must-try is the goat cheese cheese cake: creamy, smooth, flavorful, and slightly sweet. If you enjoy a sweet-forward appetizer, this one is a winner. However, if you're leaning more savory, La Tablita is the way to go, juicy blood sausage, meaty and flavorful sausage, and cheese-onion empanadas that are perfectly grilled cheese and wonderfully toasted. Another standout was the grilled octopus with crushed almonds, cooked just right and full of depth. For the entrées, you can't go wrong with the Brazilian-style picanha cooked the Argentine way, rich, juicy, and full of flavor. The classic filet mignon was also very meaty, though I found it slightly mild; pairing it with the sweet potato fries was the best match, they were unexpectedly better than the truffle fries. The desserts also stole the show. The molten dulce de leche lava cake, the crêpe with warm dulce de leche, and the flan were our full dose of dulce de leche. The highlight was the lava cake served warmed, melting the ice cream and bathing the dessert in vanilla lava ice cream. The warm dulce de leche on the crêpe felt like an extra shot of one of my favorite Argentine treats. We wrapped it all up with a warm, foamy cinnamon cappuccino, the perfect digestivo. Pro tip: make sure to order a good Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon (of course Argentinian wines) to properly accompany the meats. The ambiance is very corporate steakhouse oriented, maybe it is the Brickell vibes. Side note: love the name, Baires, short for Buenos Aires, a very creative acronym.
