My husband and I shared a three piece fish and chip. The fish was crunchy and still moist on the inside. The fish was not overwhelmed with breading. It was perfectly sized for both of us; however, it could have been easily eaten by my husband. The restrooms are located next door at the Thai restaurant, which is owned by the same family. The owner was very friendly and the service was fast and efficient. There is only one large table in the restaurant and people are friendly so sharing was not a problem. Stopped in here after seeing Horseshoe bend on a hot summer day. Rang the bell for service and was greeted by the grumpy owner. After hesitating on ordering a beer, we got a frustrated sigh and he disappeared to the back. I asked the help where the restroom was and they led me through the kitchen, where I was immediately scolded by the disgruntled owner once again. He explained it was a shared kitchen with the Thai place next door and I had to enter through their door. I washed my hands and upon re-entering his establishment, he was explaining to the next group of customers the restroom situation. Our food came out and was pretty tasty. Then, a group of foreign tourists came in and they needed a little extra time ordering. This frustrated the owner to the point where he told them the place was closing in a few minutes if they didn't complete the transaction. He then began heckling them and trying to guess their ethnicity. They also asked about the restroom. Vindication. If you're going to go into the service industry, don't belittle your clientele. And don't be an ignorant racist with no patience for those you serve. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

The fish was served hot and crispy and tasted amazing, the tartar sauce was homemade and was some of the best I've ever had! Prices are a little steep and the place is small but the food was great and service was fast. Very cold reception from the Thai hostess. No smiles to be had at this place. We ordered two 3pc fish-n-chips and one Fried Chicken (explained to us that 4pc come with the chicken meal). After a long wait we received the order. Fried Chicken only had 3 pieces...after pointing this out, our waitress went to the back room and inquired. She came back and was told that some pieces are larger and then they only give 3 pieces. To be clear, all the pieces were small. To add insult to injury...when biting into the chicken, it was slightly still frozen on the inside. The quality seemed that it all came prepackaged and frozen and honestly, I have had better quality at long john silvers. So so glad we decided to go here for dinner. We ordered the fish and chips. The owner was present at the time and he was so friendly and helpful. Don't mind the small space inside, they are temporary remodeling and they have a large patio space. When we were wrapping up, the owner gave us some tips on routes to take for a scenic drive from here to Antelope lower canyon, to Grand Canyon, and to Phoenix. Thank you! What a great little fish and chips joint tucked away in Page, AZ! The food was really good - we had fish, calamari, clam strips, and shrimp. Deep fried goodness. Generous portions. My oldest son especially liked the spicy tarter sauce. The owner also owns the Thai place next door. We almost left because there was no place to sit. Stopped here for lunch for something different-good selection of seafood and the owner was helpful....while taking our order. We went outside and sat and after he brought our food I asked if there was any ketchup and he said it was inside "like I told you when you ordered", and then proceeded to go back inside. As a former business owner I would have kept the customer from getting up from the table and got the ketchup for them as we were the only customers at the time he had. Also when we were finished he came out and asked how the food was and it was decent fish and chips and saw that we were finished but didn't bother taking our plates-just directed us to where the trash was inside-as he walked back in. Came here based on reviews. Was a little skeptical walking into the place. No other customers at 6pm. Owner (?) was less than inviting. Seemed very unhappy to be there. Place definitely smelled like a fish shop! Ordered the 2 piece fish and chips, husband for the calamari and chips. Foot delivered in about 5 minutes. Food was great!!! Owner left when a few customers started to come in. Just left, drove off in a car. Someone came from the back after 5 minutes to take the order of the people waiting. This place is decent for what is offered during the winter season. I would't really recommend the crab cakes, they were average. We also got the "Spicy chicken finger" those weren't spicy at all lol. The fish and chips itself was decent. For the shrimp, I don't know why I was thinking it was going to be like popeyes shrimp, all regular and curled. Fish was tender, perfectly cooked. Breading was so crunchy. It is more panko based which makes it even better! I do agree with another review that it has substantial breading, but how can fish and chips be crispy without some good breading?! The fries were also super solid. I ordered the 3 piece fish and chips, which was delicious. The batter they used for the fries was crispy and light, and they tasted like real potatoes. My friends enjoyed the calamari and spicy chicken pieces. I would give them 5 stars except for the fact that they charge an 18% service fee for all customers. We only had 4 people and nowhere on the menu does it tell you that you will be charged this fee. The service wasn't anything special - the hostess was unfriendly and we hardly talked to the server. We were also confused when we arrived because you actually order inside the Thai restaurant next door. Another Yelper called this restaurant a "tourist trap" which has some truth to it, since it is located next to all the Antelope canyon tour companies. read more
