Well, I reached out to Kona-Ice of Houston at the last minute and received an immediate response. In a matter of 15 minutes I was booked. The process was so easy and such a relief! I ended up changing the agreed upon number of cups and sizes to accommodate the possible number of non rspv guests and it was not a problem for them at all! On the day of the birthday party, the driver arrived right on time and was such a pleasure to have interacting with my guests! We had guests from the age of 1 year-old to the birthday queen's age of 93 years old. Don't worry, this party in the park in the heat was all her idea! That's why I had to get partnered up with Kona-Ice to help keep the guests cool. Wish you could have seen the pure excitement on the faces of all ages when the brightly colored truck pulled up with the birthday queen's name on it! I was so impressed with the level of service provided to my guests that I provided our driver with a 30% tip! Names evade me, but I think his name was Durrell???
