I CANNOT get any customer service, even though this company is very expensive compared to other postage meter companies. They are at the bottom of the heap in customer service--and I NOW understand why. My problems started started when I received an unsolicited phone call from a Neopost representative (who I found out later was not my rep). She added a SECOND contract to my existing contract, which I had no idea she was doing until later. The pitch was the equipment I had was not going to be eligible for service anymore and needed to be upgraded. They sent me OLDER equipment than I had. This problem started in early May of this year. Since then, I have been trying to get the old equipment replaced with the new equipment they promised. i ALWAYS receive voicemail when I call, which is then ignored. SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF. My contract expired in March and I stated to them that I was not going to renew. After two months, I got a bill so I called them and they said they would have someone call me back. Didn't happen. So I documented who and when I talked to during the next three calls (over 6 weeks) to their customer service reps and each said I would receive a call back. Again, never happened. Last week Martin Smith from their collections department sent me an email demanding payment for the machine and postage through last week. I told him I was waiting for them to return my 5 calls but he didn't care about that. He stated I had late fees that had accumulated over these three months and rental of the machine I haven't used. Just a word of warning to anybody that is thinking about doing business with this NeoPost.........don't. Find another supplier. If this situation is resolved in a satisfactorily way, I will let you know. But don't hold your breath. read more

Neopost is the worst. They can never get your contact information correct. The main office in TX vs your local office/rep do not communicate to each other. The main office will tell you one thing and the local rep will tell you something completely different. They try to charge you for mailing their machine back, after YOU paid to send it back. As we are frantically working to close his affairs and move out of his office, we contacted Neopost to pick up the machine and end the lease. Your employees are now demanding that we pay out the lease. They are threatening to contact collections against my father's estate, which my mother will have to deal with. I am planning on spreading this through social media and other forms. I hope that you stop this practice of harassment and greed. We switched from Pittney Bowes to Neopost to save a few pennies here at the office and it was a huge mistake. It's not worth the time or effort because the equipment is temperamental and their sales associates don't care. once you sign the contract, you never hear from them again. This company provides my postage meter and service for my company. We've been with them for a number of years and in that time their website has been a bottomless pit of time waste whenever I need to accomplish anything. If I need to pull up and understand my bill or buy supplies it always takes about a half hour instead of a few minutes. One becomes used to the magic of searching, navigating and ordering in a minimum of clicks on sites like Amazon, so it's inexcusable that a B2B company like Neopost has a site that seems designed by a hobbyist. Why don't I take my business elsewhere? In running my company you can imagine how seldom I need to interact with my postage meter company, it's maybe once or twice a year. But each time I do, it's like a recurring nightmare as I watch the minutes tick by trying to figure out how to do the simplest task (like reordering supplies: the reorder number on the item is different from the reorder number or their site. No problem, I'll look at a picture of the item on their site to confirm that it's the same thing. Ahhh, no picture of the item. Okay, I'll just read the description to confirm it's the same thing. Ahhh, there's no description, just a reorder number with the briefest non-sufficient description ie 75 sheets of postage sheets - one up? two up? measurements? So using their online reorder number, I search for the product online. I find an image of what I'm looking for that's a knockoff from another company. So I have to hope and trust that that's what I'm getting from Neopost. Then I have to pay for the item on Neopost, and that has it's poorly thought out omissions that simply add time and confusion to the process.) So why not switch companies? Because switching a postage meter company isn't a simple process and... I need to get back to work! I always shoot them a quick note requesting they improve their site, and now I'm posting on Yelp. My hope is they'll get the message from me and others and my once or twice annual visits to their site will get easier! read more

Terrible business. They're whole model is scaring you into continuing your (overpriced) contract by threatening all sorts of cancellation fees and making it very difficult to cancel. All I wanted to do was discontinue service at the end of our contract after close to 15 years of service. I called well in advance to let them know we wished not to continue, but I was told if I put my request through now, we would incur an early-termination fee. Apparently they require 90 days to discontinue or else you're locked into a new contract, but they'll charge you a fee if you cancel BEFORE 120 days out. Sooo.... I had to call back after the 120 days out mark to cancel (something I should have been able to do on my first call). When I said I was looking to get out of the contract the rep told me he was worried I might be too late and would incur a fee, to which I had some strong words to say about. But anyway, after already being on hold to talk to customer service, I had to be transferred to a different depart to cancel. And then after holding, when I talked to them, they started a "cancellation case" and told me I would get an email soon, which I then had to reply to with an extensive written termination letter, which required serial numbers and all sorts of info on "company letterhead." Then of course that request had to "process" for a while. And then finally I get a letter saying basically "request received, now pay $1700!" I called and asked what was going on to hear "that's only if you cancel now. You don't have to pay that if you finish out the contract period." Oh, i forgot to mention at one point one of the reps was going to check on something for me, and (I think purposely) left me on hold for close to an hour before I got angry and hung up the phone. I barely managed to cancel without any termination fees, but it was a multiple week affair that required a number of phone calls to customer service to be made. They make you jump through all sorts of hoops to cancel, have a narrow window between 120 and 90 days out to do it, and that last "invoice" I received was clearly trying to trick us into paying for something we didn't need to. Garbage company. I laughed out loud when listening to their "customers first" on-hold message. read more

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND NO OPTION OF EARY TERMINATION! This company has been billing my office (which I recently took over management of) since 2015 to the tune of $4098. We have only used... Wait for it.... $700 in postage in 4 YEARS! When I called to cancel the agreement I was told I would have to pay the remaining THIRTY months on the contract as well as ADDITIONAL EARLY TERMINATION FEES! The quote to early terminate the remaining 30 months was $4500!!!! Even if I paid the next 30 months in advance it would only cost $2436! Additionally, they require 90 days notice of cancellation in order to not AUTO-RENEW the contract. I asked could I pay the remaining $2436 balance on the contract in full and provide notice of cancellation NOW, so that it didn't get overlooked and auto renews... The guy tells me NO! Half of the time this machine doesn't work properly as it is and now I am stuck with this and the horrible contract that a previous very inexperienced employee signed up for??? They are deceptive and they are hoping you will forget in the YEAR 2021 to cancel! DO NOT USES THIS COMPANY! BUY STAMPS AND SAVE YOURSELF THE EXPENSE AND HASSLE. read more

Horrible dishonest company! We were their customer for YEARS. It was hard to get customer service and they kept raising the rates after we didn't sign their ridiculous 5.5 year lease. Their equipment is sub par as is their customer service. The main reason for the 1 star rating is the process of returning the equipment. You have to jump through hoops to even get approved to return it. I followed all of their "rules" by submitted a request in writing and waiting until we were approved to send it back. I used the box and packaging material from our new (and better and cheaper) equipment to send Neopost their stuff back. I took the whole entire machine off our counter and put it in the box along with all of the paperwork and a brand new ink cartridge that had never even been opened. I am glad I listened to my gut and kept the tracking number, FedEx verification, and signature that it was delivered because Neopost then contacted me and told me that only the base was received and not the meter. I asked a few questions and they were basically saying that I took the machine apart and returned the $19.20 five pound part and kept the $1000.00 twenty nine pound part. They were trying to charge us $1000 for the missing meter!!! But lo and behold the FedEx receipt that I had kept said the package was 34 pounds! I told them the date, time, and person who signed for the package and then suddenly, all of the parts were found. We then received a bill for the freight for sending the machine back. We paid it just so we could be done with it. THEN we received a bill for the unused ink cartridge. They claim it wasn't in the box and every month we don't pay the original $196 (the cost of the ink), they charge a $39 late fee. When I spoke to them on the phone I was told she would ask the warehouse what was in the box. I told her that it won't be found. The 29 pound $1000 part was "lost" too until I had the FedEx verification receipt with the weight on it. I was SO surprised when they emailed me to tell me that the ink wasn't documented when they opened the box. So we still have a $324.47 bill for the unused, unopened ink. I wish I had taken pictures of everything that was in the box. It is sad that has to be done and that this company goes to such great lengths to rip customers off. I would hand seal and hand stamp envelopes before ever using this company again!!! read more

just buy good ole fashion stamps... We have a machine and it is garbage. Our machine clonked out about 3 months ago, we call the company and they send us a refurbished machine and no ink cartridge. We call to request a cartridge and as soon as we put it in it tells us it is going to expire soon. We call them back and they then send out a cartridge the requires us to stamp 3 times in order to get a visible stamp (keep in mind it charges us every time). Then we get a bill for the replacement cartridge that doesn't work so we have to call to dispute this bill, but let me be completely honest each call to this company requires a 20-30 minute hold each time. In short this is just not a good experience...find another company like we intent too. read more

The worst customer service in the world! I agree with the other reviewers, as we attempted to cancel they tried to sneak us in to another contract. I was able to send our equipment back in but have not heard back on a final bill and have discovered the tracking number they provided on the return label doesn't even work on the FedEx website!!!! Plus after not having any bills since initiating the return at the end of December I received one yesterday and still haven't even received the final cancellation bill! When I have gotten in touch with someone they told me that it takes up to 6 WEEKS TO GET THE CANCELLATION GOING!!!!!!! Are you kidding me. BUY YOUR STAMPS, this is not worth it. P.S. Neopost/Neofunds has a scamming billing system. I signed up for alerts when they are sending statements (you cannot receive your statement via email), but no alert has ever arrived. There is a $39 late fee for not paying your bill by the date. SO you have to check your account on your own. You cannot depend on the mail statement or the alerts --- somehow they just don't work and you end up having to pay the $39 fee. This "confusion" happens too often. You really have to stay on top of your billing. read more
