I didn't like that we paid for gratuity and on a separate receipt there was tip for the dancers. The dancers were the waiters too so essentially instead of tipping 20%, we'd be tipping 40%. That didn't sit well with us and we didn't give the "show tip". If we weren't paying attention we would have paid both. The waitress seemed annoyed we didn't pay the show tip. All in all, I do recommend checking it out to try something unique in SF, but I think one time is enough unlike ASF where the vibes were so fun we went often for many events.

Vending machine was supposed to take Google Pay--I had money on my linked card--but it kept rejecting it anyway. No physical cards, no cash, just wireless pay, so I was stuck. Thing is, that same Google Pay card worked fine when I paid for my entrance fee at the front--so I figured if they opened the machine, I could just buy what I needed and pay him right there, where it actually processed. When I asked if they could open it for me (unless it's some independent vendor), the Latino guy--black shirt, small red shorts, I think his name's Jesse--said it's theirs, but he doesn't have the keys. Then it was just "Sorry, can't help," "We don't do that," and he'd walk off. Felt like talking to a brick wall on a slower-than-usual Tuesday night--there were a few people around, just not the usual rush. They kept saying "just use the ATM we have here," but that thing doesn't even take wireless tap--Google Pay's useless on it. I wasn't leaving empty-handed after paying--refunds aren't an option once you're in--so I kept at him, asking questions insistently--not yelling, just not backing down. Half the time I'd have to walk behind him as he kept moving, not stopping to hear me out--he was being evasive, like he wanted me gone. I ended up chasing him down just to get a real answer. I asked if there was any way I could leave momentarily without losing my spot, and only then he said, "Okay, yes, you can take a 20-30 minute break." I had to approach him again, ask if he needed anything else from me. Only then did he grab a towel, dump my keys on it, slam the bundle across the counter, and turn away, evasive the whole time. Made me feel like a nuisance instead of a member. If he really can't open the machine, fine--but some basic direction would've helped. I get policies are strict, maybe he was having an off night, but the whole thing left me feeling dismissed. Room's fine, 8-hour setup's handy, but honestly? This is my last time. After that, I just don't feel like coming back. One star: convenience wins, but service influences the whole experience. [By the way... We have done the extremely expensive Gymboree thing, in my opinion this was much better. Juan Olsen Sanchez is the instructor, a former nationally ranked gymnast. It starts our with circle time where you sing a couple of songs and then there is play time in the gymnasium. There are 3 very large trampolines, balance beam, bars, balls and a very cool harness that you strap your little on in (used to help instruct students on how to do flips) and he/she can fly through the air. My son LOVED this and so did just about every other child there. At the end of class Juan gets out the parachute and the kids go on a parachute ride along with more songs. I love the welcoming manner and friendliness of Juan. He kept the show moving and all the kids loved it! Classes run all day all week in appropriate age groups, 1-2yrs, 2-3, and then tumbling and gymnastics for 3-5, 5-6, 7-8, and 9 and up. They also do Gymnastic Birthday Parties. Prices for 1-2yrs old class for 10 classes once a week run$115. You are welcome to 'drop in' for a class for $13.
