You are greeted politely on arrival , and seated in a comfortable waiting room as your information is prepared for the doctor. You are then led to a very clean and comfortable treatment room. The care from Dr. Patel is absolutely first class, the exam, the treatment are very gentle and thorough , discussing your condition and treatment options in easy to understand detail, they do not rush you through in this office. Dr. Patel's bedside manner is unsurpassed, she is constantly asking if you are ok as she performs her tasks ensuring your comfort from start to finish . This office is very clean, comfortable and very well maintained with very up to date treatment apparatus. They scheduled appointments and I would show up and no one would be there. They would call me the night before and cancel my appointments, which is totally my job. When I finally did get there they tried to bully me into 30k of dental work that I knew I didn't need. Needles to say, screw them. I went to Venneri Dental, and it was the complete opposite. They are kind, everyone is smiling, which, well it is a dental office, so it was nice to see people smiling and they have been great with appointments. My first visit was a cleaning and it was the best i have ever had. My second visit was an "emergency" bonding of a cracked front tooth that Dr. Joe stayed late for to accommodate my schedule. I am currently in the process of getting veneers and Dr. Joe has been awesome. He told me exactly what I needed and did not pressure me into other procedures or charge me for things I didn't really need. Er said teeth were intact but see your dentist. My dentist couldn't examine the teeth because of my swelling but X-ray looked good. A week later I had awful pain and my 2 front teeth were discolored and cracked at the gum line. I was crushed. My teeth were beautiful and part of my identity. My dentist referred me to a root canal specialist and just the root canals were going to exhaust my insurance and I need crowns. I found Dr. Yefim on a search and God definitely was looking out for me. 2 painless root canals and antibiotics. A week later prep for the crowns with a temporary inserted. 2 weeks later 2 crowns put in. My teeth have never looked more beautiful. Polished to perfection and color match was on point. With only a small balance to pay. I've gotten ton of compliments. I am so happy and my broken heart mended. I will definitely be returning for my cleaning and check up.

It did take awhile and because of my insurance I had the bottom done first (the kind that's "glued" in, then got my uppers this year. (The removable kind). I understand what I was told so a little puzzled as to why I had to come back more than a few times to get them. But when they were done everything fit well. The only problem was with the top dentures. I start bringing my tongue up and "chomp" because of the metallic stuff on the dentures. It just felt funny and when I a fellow associate of DR. A she just said it's something to get used to! Why? I know some dentures can be made with a clear coating. She said because of my poor bone structure in my mouth that wasn't feasible?? Like I said I speak and comprehend English better than most but at times the communication was not what it should be. There was a complete lack of empathy or patience from both staff and the doctor. Not to mention that it took them a very long time to even bring my mother back for the procedure. When my mom asked how long it should take, the response from the doctor was "depends how much you talk." Dr. Kenwood has helped me tremendously. So much so, I can hardly believe the two reviews prior to mine are for the same dentist. Dr. Kenwood is one of the kindest dentists I've ever met, extremely compassionate, and very calm. I met Dr. Kenwood at a community event and was in excruciating pain on a Sunday so I left a message on the office voicemail with little expectation. Dr. Kenwood called me back that day and scheduled an early AM emergency appointment. He had to work on the tooth in stages due to an infection that was causing my pain. Dr. Kenwood took his time during the process explaining his goal to ensure no darkening of the tooth would occur. I've had root canal procedures from both dentists and endodontists. My endodontist had retired and I was nervous to use a dentist again, but Dr. Kenwood exceeded expectations. I later learned of his extensive experience with root canals during a conversation, but he referred me to contact one for a different dental situation, so I am confident he knows when to refer. Since then, I have had dental cleanings, fillings, and some cosmetic dentistry done at this location. Every person I've met on the staff I've met is friendly, accommodating, and experienced. I don't often take the time to write reviews, but saw this when I was looking up his office number and felt someone should set the record straight! I ended up getting a root canal in December and it was nothing short of a nightmare. I had the 1st appointment the Thursday before Christmas and was told by Dr. Tim, that I would only be in discomfort for a day or 2 and to not chew on that side. Well I was in pain all the way through Christmas and was not told that the office would be closed that entire weekend. So basically I had no one to follow up with. Then on New Year's day the temp filling completely crumbed and left me with a jagged tooth that was extremely uncomfortable. I called the "emergency phone number" and Dr. Tim called me back said to call the office the next day and they will grind down the edges. The next day I went in and he acted like it was no big deal. When I went back for my 2nd appointment my tooth was filed down to a stub and no temp crown was put on it because Dr. Tim said it was unnecessary since it was in the back of my mouth. In reality I wish I had a temp filling because the area around my tooth left a lot of exposed gum and eating was not comfortable. Then 2 weeks later I went back for my 3rd appointment to have the permanent crown put on. I was told that I would not be in any pain or discomfort. After 2 months of still having issues, feeling throbbing and dull pain in that tooth I ended up going to a specialist and discovering I needed the root canal retreated since it was not done correctly to start with. I have ended up spending over a thousand dollars and went through months of pain and discomfort. At no time during my experience did I feel like Dr. Tim was interested in making me comfortable or sorry that he did not treat me properly.

However, Dr. Ma I must say is an excellent dentist. My appointment was for 11:00 AM today after she numb me up with Novacaine. She started working on my tooth which was broken off at the gum line. Total time in the chair was about 20 minutes. I was shocked it was over and painless.. I highly recommend Dr. Mayer for anyone looking for a new dentist. The Dr. recently retired…read moreand new office staff has come in with the new Dr. taking over the practice, well, they called prior to an upcoming appt and wanted us to fill out new patient paperwork online because they were computerizing their records. The have all our records and when we pushed back with that point the person on the phone became nasty and claimed she could not read the records. We decided to move onto a new provider after that experience because we have found that if the office staff doesn't care the provider doesn't either especially at times of transition.
