I never make reviews, however they made me wait 3 hours in between the lobby, and seeing a doctor, they then tell me (right before they close weirdly enough) that my Insurance didn't answer and they can't clean my teeth after they tried to charge me for multiple extra care programs that I didn't come in for. all I wanted was a teeth whitening but instead they wouldn't even do that even tho I'm on file. requested and signed a re lease form 7 months ago for my full medical record the office manager Nikki Bloom comp stopped responding when I question my signature clearly forged 3 different times and a payment of 495 with a visa I never made (im with dental first I don't pay with visa and my payment has never been higher than $80) when I questioned these things December 12,2023 she said she was out of the office sick and would get back to me since then I have emailed,called,left messages and reviews, contacted corporate and the BBB and she has still not called me back. I recoeved a cd with X-rays from this year and that's it. this is illegal my HIPPA rights are being violated it shouldn't take 7 months to get my record. I made an appointment for 5:15 PM got there a few minutes early went to open the door it was locked with the light still on inside and I could see the workers there. I knocked and then was told that they tried to call me to cancel on me which they did not call me then proceeded to ask if I would need to reschedule. Horrible experience. I sent my insurance over 2 weeks before my appointment, the day before my appointment I get a call asking for my insurance, I resend said insurance. The day of my appointment they tell me that they didn't understand my "employer self funded plan" and no one bothered to call the insurance company to confirm. They perform X-rays but refused to perform a teeth cleaning because they didn't understand how to bill my employer self funded insurance (instructions on the back of the insurance card- also explained to them). I reschedule a teeth cleaning, go in for my appointment and the receptionist at the front I believe his name was Paul- says today will be six sixty seven, I hand him my credit card and see he is typing into the credit card machine $667.00 so I said excuse me I have insurance and he says yeah without insurance this will cost you $1,400 and I said for a teeth cleaning? The response back was no that's not the treatment plan we have you on, we have you for a scaling and then cleaning. I responded by saying I don't want the scaling just the cleaning- Paul goes back to the hygienist who proceeds to call me back to look at my X-rays- I explain to the hygienist that I simply want my yearly teeth cleaning... her response "that's a waste of time for me to do if you aren't getting the scaling also." The two stars is for the friendliness of the staff. I decided to try a new dentist and my pockets are definitely paying for it. The take on too many patients at one time so you end up sitting in the chair waiting for the actual dentist to show up. It took 3 hours for the dentist to do three cavities because she was going back and forth to different patients. The area that she did the cavities were sensitive for over a month. Couldn't have anything hot or cold. Next, I had to have my crown replaced. Two weeks after it came out. Had to go back in. But that's not until I was placed on almost an hour wait for someone to pick up the phone. Three months later and it came out again. Guess who can't get a hold of anyone. How is it that they open at 7:30 and still too busy to pick up the phone. Now I have to pay for a seasoned dentist to fix my crown. read more

They gave me improper medical advice and sent me on a completely unnecessary, time consuming and time wasting appointment, with a true medical professional that stated I should report them as every licensed dentist knows you cannot do a root canal on a fractured tooth. Then when the tooth was pulled, as that was my only option, the partial bridge they made, they made for the wrong teeth! If I could give them a 0 I would. This place is terrible. I recently added dental insurance to my Aetna medical plan and this place was listed as accepting my insurance. I called to make an appointment and should have been suspicious by how many available appointments they had as soon as next day. But I made an appointment and gave them my insurance over the phone. I got there and waited 35 minutes to be seen, then another half hour to take X-rays, then waited to see a hygienist and again to see the dentist. 2 Hours later my teeth were still not cleaned which is all I wanted done. They told me I had to wait for a consultation or they could call me to go over it. Or if I wanted to pay the $493 they would do it then and there (my insurance covered a cleaning, x rays and exam). I left because I had only allotted about an hour for the appointment (no one told me otherwise and I have never been at a dentist for more than that) and I only wanted a free cleaning that my insurance covers. They had even included the cost of a water pic they wanted me to buy from them (which was above the 493). I told them them I only wanted the cleaning and they said they can. not do that. What a racket!!!! I felt like I was at a sales pitch for just getting my teeth cleaned. And the worst part was that I was not told any of this over the phone when I called to make the initial appointment. I guess that is a way for them to charge for exams because people do not know any better. This was a complete waste of my time!!!!! And now have waisted my covered exam and X-rays on a place I will not be going to. This place should be shut down for manipulation and depiction! read more

My first visit I stated I only need routine cleanings and checkups after they tried to sell me periodontal maintenance plan. I explained I go to a periodontist and don't need that service from them. my first cleaning went well. My second visit, six months later, i was told what my copayment would be which was much higher than originally stated. I asked why and was told it was because of the periodontal maintenance. I again said no I go to a periodontist you are not doing that here. The bill was changed and I paid the price as agreed upon on my first visit. I got my cleaning and check up and went on my way. Now I'm receiving bills for the work I rejected. I called many times and left messages. Actually had a person pick up the phone and she was no help. Told me somebody would call me back. I was a new patient that went for an exam, X-rays & cleaning with no issues. At that time they checked my teeth for gum disease which I had been treated (with Arrestin) previously for a few of my gums were a "4" and said nothing about having to treat it before they cleaned my teeth. I came back for another cleaning almost a year later. As soon as I went to the desk, they had my bill waiting for me which included X-rays. My insurance includes 2 exams a year with X-rays but they still wanted to charge me for them. The person at the desk took that off my bill. When I went back to the exam room, the hygienist examined my gums and they told me this time they could not clean my teeth unless I agreed to being treated with Arrestin. I just wanted my teeth cleaned. Why was this time different than the last time? The hygienist told me it was "Company Policy" that I had to be treated before they cleaned my teeth. - I walked out and will not go back! I read the other negative reviews about this office and I thought I would give them a chance but the other people were right - it is a money grab - run! read more

This office is mismanaged & unprofessional. A revolving-door of staff, (AND DOCTORS!), is likely the reason. When people in a customer service position are treated poorly, you can expect customer to be treated same. Without relating litany of offenses, (well beyond three strikes), I will simply state that I had an 8:00 am appt yesterday, arrived 7:45 to find the door locked. Left at 8:05. At 9:00, rec'd argumentative call saying "You missed your appointment" (3X) and "I don't know what to tell you" before abrupt hang-up. This chain is disrespectful, does not deserve your business. A week before my 9:30 appointment to get my teeth cleaned, I received an email from Aspen. I was to confirm that I was going to keep the appointment. I confirmed that I would keep the appointment. Arrived about 9:20. The door to the office was locked. Waited until 10:00 before doors were unlocked. Told receptionist that I had a 9:30 appointment. She said I was not scheduled. How can that be? I was sent an email and I confirmed the 9:30 appointment. The receptionist looked up the information and said that the hygienist had an emergency and wasn't coming in. She asked if I would like to reschedule. Thanks but no thanks. Got an email making sure I showed up - why not an email and tell me not to bother. read more

The worst experience ever!! I cracked a tooth and decided to give this place a try. After several rescheduled appointments by the office I was finally able to be seen.. My appointment was 10:30 and I sat in the lobby so long I was offered the ability to go home and they can call me when they were ready for me (in other words lunchtime). I was initially quoted one price only to come back and it doubled! How?! Did someone review the chart and update the billing without consulting me, which I also highly doubt considering they don't have time for the patients in the office. In addition, every appointment (3) I've been there I talk to a new employee handling my information/consulting me which is fine if I've been going a year but it's only been 1month.. please save yourself the hassle and never go here! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Had a fractured tooth back in January and they sent me to an endodontist for a root canal (which cannot be done on a fractured tooth) then sent me to their Lawrence, NJ off for extraction and partial plate which was supposed to take 2 weeks. 5 weeks later I call them and they say it came in they've just been real busy. Go today for extraction and when done they put the plate in and they ordered the wrong one. This company is by far the absolute worse thing that has happened to dental care. STAY AWAY read more

Today I had the worst experience that I have ever had in a dentist office (Bensalem Office) I had an appointment today and the last time that I was in this office they charge me $185.00 dollars for my previous visit I only go for cleanings thankfully because my teeth are healthy enough well my cleanings are supposed to be 100 percent covered by my insurance so I kept that charge in mind but with busy lives that we all have I totally forgot to call and find out more about it well I decided to call today during my visit just to make sure if my cleanings were covered 100 percent or not and to also find out about my previous charge well one of the two persons that were there told me that I didn't needed to do that in a very nasty tone that was the first strike since when a person that doesn't know you can tell you what can you or can't do I was amazed that this person said this to me right away I told her that she is nobody for her to tell me anything that I was just calling to make sure that I wasn't being taken advantage of the lady heard what I had to say then walked away I called my mom and I was telling her what was happening to me at the dentist office I was speaking in Spanish when here comes a speaking Spanish employee coming off at me super disrespectful and started lying and saying that when I walked through the door I was yelling and screaming and whatnot lying her way up when in reality I came in talking on the phone with my insurance company on the line trying to figure out what was what that Spanish speaking employee started generalizing my race she said to me this is why you guys get kicked out out of business like this one she also said to me that she was going to walk me out of the premises and not even once I cussed, yelled out or got in anyone's face at the end of the day I got my cleaning done and no one kicked me out because I didn't do anything wrong for them to treat me like they did I want this to be looked at and that employee shouldn't be talking about no one's race that's beyond disrespectful and discriminatory I will be waiting for a response to this review thanks! read more

Literally worst place ever. I called them looking to get more information on Invisalign for my 12-year-old son who desperately needs some teeth correction. He being 12 obviously was very concerned about getting metal braces so he wanted to see about doing clear correction. So I called Aspen dental spoke with a lady on the phone for a while asking my questions and my concerns and she assured me multiple times that this could be a very good option for my son mind you he's 12 I said he was 12 and I gave them his birthdate. I made the appointment and then the office called and confirmed the next day and the following day we went and drove to Bensalem. Not only did I have to wait almost 40 minutes for our appointment but the hygienist that brought us to the back was a very rigid unfriendly woman. Then they sat my son in the dental chair and before being seen by anyone the woman came back to the room to explain to us he wouldn't be getting seen because they don't do Invisalign on anyone under 16. That sounds like pretty pertinent information that maybe someone should've told me before a waste of my time and got my sons hopes up. Now my son is devastated and I completely wasted my morning.
