First time going to Nespresso Boutique. My husband & I recently purchased a Nespresso machine at Costco when our Kerig quit working after several years. We were happy with the Kerig but felt the coffee could be better. We are pleased with the Nespresso experience. Machine is easy to use, the coffee is excellent. Big difference. I was happy to find a Nespresso store at Washington Square. I found many selections of Capsules. The person helping me was very helpful recommending Capsules based on my taste. I was able to pick up recycling bags for the Capsules which are sent directly to Nespresso by UPS at no charge. Recycle bags are complimentary. Recycling of the Capsules is important to me. There is a Barista and Bar in the store to give samples of the various different Capsules. A productive trip for me. Excellent service. Nice store. I will be a regular customer. read more

We love our Nespresso machine and consume a fair amount of espresso. I've always ordered online in the past, but had more than a full bag of recycles so decided to visit the store. When you first walk in (after getting tripped/interrupted by the iPad sign-in requirement - WTF?) it feels like it will be an Apple Store experience. Instead, we were served by a young lady that did not make recommendations or seem to have any knowledge at all - just kept pointing me to the laminated listing or showing me her screen. Just step aside and let me write my own order like I do at home. Lastly we asked if Vanilla Sweet was truly vanilla-flavored and sweet - her answer "kind of - but it still tastes like coffee". I'll be returning to my online ordering from home - maybe they could lower the price of pods if they close the store. read more

We are by no means coffee aficionados, and fully acknowledge that we are living that Keurig lifestyle. I cold brew and use a French Press at times as well, but it's all just...coffee. We've seen this brand before, but never stepped in, so why not check out "the other guys." One rarity in retail these days is a salesperson that KNOWS his product. Issac is that guy. Very friendly and welcoming. He asked us what our coffee experience was, and showed us the different levels of machines. They even have a tasting bar! He convinced us that a new machine is in our future. I was also pleased to learn that the disposable cups are aluminum, and not single use plastic, so that's a huge green plus! read more

I tried to buy the machine and capsules in-store, but was told at the checkout counter that they were out of stock. I get that inventory issues can happen, so I didn't make a fuss. Later, we placed an online order right there in the store, and were told the machine and the rest of the items would be delivered to our home. But nothing happened after that. We waited for a couple of days with no updates at all--only to find out later, to our surprise, that the machine had been shipped to the store instead. And we ended up having to pick it up ourselves. Seriously? The guy with glasses said it was a bug in their system... So what? There were at least five better ways to handle this--ways that would've made me feel served and cared for. Instead, I left the store hauling the machine and other items by myself, feeling frustrated and annoyed. Not to mention the time we wasted sitting in traffic. I'm a huge fan of Nespresso. We have a total of four machines. I enjoy two cups every morning. This is my local go to store for purchasing my coffee pods. The store is often busy and has long lines, but the staff ensure they move through the crowd quickly and in an organized fashion. I have however noticed frequent turn over in the staff here. I'm glad to see that the store has adjusted post-COVID and re-opened their tasting bar. This feature is something I enjoy and have selected new flavors to take home based on having the opportunity to try different products. I'd like to see them have cream on hand regularly which has been hit or Miss over the last year. However, this is my home store and I will continue to shop here for both convenience and service. read more

Popped in because I was in the area. The checking in was annoying. Was told it was so I didn't have to stand around waiting to be assisted, but, wouldn't I be standing around anyway while waiting for them to call my name? Anyways....the young lady who helped me, her name was either Sierra or Savanah.... I did ask, but I can't seem to remember.... was extremely helpful. She was patient, polite, pleasant and professional. I live all the way on the other side of town so, I doubt I will be going back into the boutique anytime soon, opting instead to use the website. This is the only store in the state of Oregon to buy directly from them. At times when it is busy at shows as the people space is small with all the large floor displays of machines and sets you can purchase. The people working though are amazing! They are friendly and helpful and if you know what you want, or have ordered ahead, you can get up to the counter and out of the store in a short time. You can also get a cup of Nespresso made there if you want if you are interested in trying something new before buying a box of it. read more

The barista maker on window display caught my fiancé's eye so we stopped in for a quick look. Right away he was already interested and looked for an associate to assist us. All of the associates were with someone so we didn't mind waiting and were offered a taste of their coffee of the day. Entered an empty store at 4 pm and stated I was ready to purchase a machine. Middle-age Caucasian woman's answer - and subsequent response to almost every inquiry - was to check their website. No attempt to sell me anything or educate me on some of the basic features of their offerings. They don't have any espresso-only machines for purchase or demo (only the newer Vertuo line), the tasting bar is closed (for obvious reasons), and the coffee is more expensive than what you can get online. I recently bought a Nespresso coffee maker. I purchased quite a bit of coffee online directly from Nespresso, but still felt we were flying blind choosing coffee on limited info. Since we were in the mall, we stopped in to the Boutique, and are so glad we did. First, you are greeted as soon as you walk in. Then you are handed over to a representative to work with you individually. They answer questions and provide recommendations. The best part is the sampling bar. The barista gave us samples and lots of info! Of course we bought some more coffee. They also included a couple free pods to try. They have a free recycling program. Makes me happy all the pods aren't winding up in a landfill! Everyone is friendly & helpful and the store was bright, clean & inviting. read more

I was in a hurry to buy coffee and drop off my recycled pods for my beloved Nespresso machine. Now you have a bouncer at the door and you have to sign in. It isn't a restaurant so it's confusing why we can't just have a line to get the merchandise? I was unfriendly to the bouncer and I definitely apologize to her - it's not her fault!!!!!! Then they call names and you have to wait for your name. But if people are drinking coffee and not paying attention they take any random person lurking nearby. Can't there be an express line? Anyway, I left and I'm so sorry to that employee. I tried calling the store but you only get the national line. I'd drive back there to apologize but I had to go get the Starbucks version at the store. Thank God for that, online ordering, and the black recycle bags that you can drop off at UPS bins. read more

Like most who have a Nespresso machine, I order pods online. I didn't know there was an actual store until my son told me he stopped in here one time. We were low on pods at his place, so I drove to this store. It was truly a great experience. A nice young lady greeted me, and asked me a few questions to determine my familiarity with the products. She had some recommendations, and offered to make me some of those to try. It was a very "high end" experience, and I felt like I was speaking with a coffee expert. The boutique is beautiful and mesmerizing. My husband and I visited the store to buy coffee a lot of coffee. We were not greeted when we arrived. The only associate I could see was busy helping another couple we stood and waited patiently. The whole time we waited she didn't acknowledge us at all. I think we waiting 15 min before she finally turned to us and said what are you here for? Luckily Scott came out from the back and helped us. He gave us several tastings and made us feel welcome. We ended up purchasing 10 boxes of assorted coffee flavors which got us a free gift of choice. The employee's name is Madison, who helped my roommate and I buy a refurbished machine and pods and was so friendly and helpful. Madison made sure we knew everything about the pods, the machine, the refurbish program, which flavors of pods that were recommended, and was so friendly and welcoming. I wanted to put this out there specifically because I was seeing different closing times listed on yelp vs google vs the 800 Nespresso number I called. Yelp correctly states the store closes at 8pm on Saturday. I have no idea why they don't have a phone you can call to ask questions -- really irritating. Please get a phone, Nespresso!! The customer service here is not great. I was new to Nespresso and went to the store hoping to get guidance but was greeted with employees that seemed annoyed. They didn't seem willing to help me find the best nespresso pods for my needs and I wasn't offered a recycling bag for my used pods when I left. You know what? They are great. I found this place because while I have had my Nespresso machine for a while, it's a new thing that they have physical locations within striking distance. So i stopped in. I couldn't figure out why there are any 1 star reviews of this place. The people are great. They were super helpful. I didn't need to buy another machine, but I could have if I had wanted to. Sometimes I read Yelp reviews and I think people just go out into the world looking for retail staff to plague and judge. Geez, bottom line is: if you are a normal, nice person you will love this place. They even gave me a free sample. Of course, I didn't need one because I already know how great the Nespresso line is... but it was appreciated anyway. They used to also have foamed milk, but due to Covid-19 restrictions they have had to refrain from making full on lattes for the time being. I was ready to order on line - but as I have a 'boutique' near me - I chose to visit and see if the negative reviews were valid. My experience at the store was excellent. I was greeted nicely by the employees: they answered all of my questions about the machines - and my MANY MANY questions about the various coffees. I was baffled by all the varieties of coffees they have - and they pleasantly described each to help me make my choices. Scott, the barista was also exceptional. I tried a few shots of the coffees that I was considering - and had a great, educational conversation about coffee, its history, the story of espresso, vintage machines, etc. It's not just about the coffee - customer service is critical - and I had a great experience at the Nespresso shop with my visit and am pleased with my purchases. read more

While waiting, an employee told me about their current specials and new pods. She asked questions and made recommendations.
