We booked Neumann to shuttle guests from a hotel to our wedding venue. We were referred to this company through the transportation incentive program through the city of Folsom. Unfortunately the shuttles were delayed in picking up our guests, with no communication from Neumann of the delay. Our guests reached out to us letting us know the shuttles had not arrived, and decided to drive themselves out of concern for missing our ceremony. We had to reach out to Neumann on our own to find out they were delayed. Would have appreciated a simple communication on their end so that our guests did not have to make a game time decision while we were trying to figure out the issue (while we were getting ready for our ceremony no less!). BRIDES BE WARNED - Horrible Customer Service and Wedding Day Experience Choosing Neumann Limo for shuttle service for our wedding was a regret to say the least. Beyond one of the managers, Johnny, who helped with booking the service, we had a horrible experience and would not recommend this company to anyone, especially to brides who want to have stress free vendors on their wedding day. We hired two shuttles to get guests to and from the venue. Ian was the first driver to arrive so that he could take the bridal party to the venue. To say it was a stressful shuttle ride is an extreme understatement. Although Ian seemed nice, his inability to critical think and listen to us led to heated frustration. We were already running late and he was to take us from where we were getting ready straight to the venue for pre-ceremony photos. Because the pickup schedule didn't list the venue as the drop off location between picking us up and picking up the first guests, he was not driving in the correct direction. When we told him he missed the turn and that he needed to drop us off before picking any guests up, he told us no, he knew where he was going and he had specific instructions he needed to follow. I then mentioned that I'm the bride (keep in mind I'm wearing a huge white dress so it's very evident that I'm the bride) and I don't want guests seeing me before the ceremony. I told him that I'm the one paying for the bill and he needs to drop us off at the venue. But he kept driving anyways. My mother and mother-in-law, seeing how upset I was that he wouldn't listen, became enraged and started to get involved. They told him to pull over immediately. He finally did and called my wedding planner to get approval from her. Again I was the one paying for the shuttles not the wedding planner, so the fact that Ian couldn't understand this, even after me mentioning it several times, and deviate from what a paper was telling him to do versus his own customer was rather shocking. After my wedding planner confirmed that he absolutely needed to drop us off first before picking up guests, Ian turned around and brought us to the venue. There was no apology from Ian but he was helpful with getting our things off of the shuttle. We were very shaken from the experience and what made me even more sad is that we were 20 minutes late to photos which meant we were unable to get all of the group photos we had hoped for. Photographers are expensive so getting that time taken from us was a huge bummer. Since our wedding in mid-September we've called Neumann Limo six times. I've spoken with the owner, John, four times on the phone and each time he says he'll get back to me and never does. Honestly, the biggest disappointment is that it was never acknowledged that a mistake was made by their team, nor did they try to rectify the issue. My biggest advice to Neumann limo, improve your customer service and listen to and acknowledge your customers. You created an extremely traumatic start to one of the best days of my life and to not even acknowledge that is a shame. read more

I came to The Willow Ballroom for a friend's wedding. We were asked to have all our cars valet parked since it was complementary. I didn't want to do it and was told that it was mandatory and they told me I couldn't park my own vehicle park my own car. They however said they would park my car up front. Upon receiving the car, I noticed that first my car was backed into something because my license plate was visible bent and the frame was broken in half. On top of that, my traction control was turned off (this can only be done manually) and the car arrived to me with the brakes squealing. Do what you want with this information but it felt like my car was joy ridden while I was attending a weddi The valet company played dumb and only took my information but I never heard from them until I contacted them myself. They accused me of coming with a damaged which wouldn't be possible because I have witnesses with Dashcam evidence driving to the event where the valet service was being held. I would not recommend this business to anyone because they are totally unprofessional and have unethical behavior. And would DEFINITELY NOT trust them when it comes to your vehicle. All I can say is that I'm disgusted. I implore you to find another transportation service unless you like the idea of you and a few other young woman getting stranded in the middle of California, in the middle of the night, with no word on what's going on. I'd like to say, before I continue, that my driver did nothing wrong and I will not accept this business using them as a scapegoat for their negligence and unprofessionalism. We booked two trips for my wedding on Halloween, from the hotel to the venue in the afternoon (pick up at 2pm) and then from the venue to the hotel (pick up at 10pm). The first trip was fine (on time, clean, albeit nothing terribly special; but as long as we were getting there safely and punctually who cares if the music isn't great, right?). For the return trip... oh boy. At 9:30pm or so, the driver came into the venue and wouldn't speak with the coordinators, only the groom and I (which is odd but whatever). He informed us there was an air bubble in one of the tires and showed a picture (this bubble was the size of a cantaloupe); it was unsafe to drive the limo and they'd have to find another ride for us. I asked what we should do and he said he was calling the owner, Jon, and drivers in the area. Okay, we finish the evening and my bridal party starts packing up. I ask for an update and the driver tells us that he's still trying to get in contact with anybody around but no one is answering (hmmm, the customer service phone line does say 24/7 service but ok). We talk to the venue staff and they graciously let us stay past our contracted end time. 10:30 rolls around, then 11:00, 11:30... No updates. I ask the driver, he has no info, says that he spoke with the owner but that the owner was out and wouldn't help. Driver says there's no spare tire, and there's no way for AAA to come out since it's a special-order tire. Midnight rolls around, the venue staff apologize profusely but let us know that they need to lock up the building by 1:00am. I left a voicemail message on the management line, grasping at straws to at least get an update on what's going on. I go outside to call my mother (the Mother of the Bride) to see if she's awake enough to come get us and drive us a few at a time back to the hotel. As I'm talking to her, a limo rolls up. Hooray, we're saved I think; I go to check with the new driver and he informs me that no, he's not there for us (the paying clients) but there to pick up the original driver. So, they send someone to get the driver and not us? A group of young woman in the middle of nowhere, late at night in the cold. Um. What? I'm furious but so tired at this point that I call my mother back and she starts getting us in rounds with the best man also coming to the rescue. We were not all back to the hotel until well after 2:00am. Four (4) hours after the event ended and the original pick up time. This whole time, by the way, we hadn't heard ANYTHING from the limo company. That's entirely unacceptable, frankly. Next day, Monday; I assume that literally anyone would call me back given that what happened the evening prior is a business PR nightmare. End of business rolls around and I haven't heard anything. Tuesday I call in the afternoon; someone does answer the phone, granted she was laughing at something someone else said as she answered (look, I've worked customer service before, that's like 101 Do Not Answer the Phone While Talking to Someone Else). I inform her of the situation and she's apologetic, and says that she had heard through the grapevine about a limo with a popped tire that needed to be towed from the same venue. Hmmm. So they were gossiping about it on Monday/Tuesday and didn't have the professional wherewith-all to actually contact the client who was stranded due to said cantaloupe- sized air bubble? She puts me on a brief hold to call Jon who was out of the office; she gets back on the line and says she'll refund me ONLY for that part of the trip. Well, yeah, I should hope I'd get a refund for a service that I did not receive? Like, that's how a contract works? I tell her thank you, I'm still not happy and would like to speak with Jon directly and ask her to have him call me. At the time of writing, it's been just over 24 hours since she said she'd ask him to call; still nothing. I understand that the air bubble is not the fault of the driver; I also understand how on a Sunday evening getting a replacement might take a LITTLE time. However, the lack of communication and professionalism paired with the flippant disregard for the safety of clients or employees is disgusting and frankly, terrifying. The owner lied to us saying he never received payment from his insurance company and that he HAD to pick up the bus to use but would get us the payment. This is--without a doubt--the most dishonest, unprofessional, unethical, uncaring, unscrupulous, unresponsive company I've experienced in my time in Sacramento over the last 15 years. And I get out quite a bit, so that is saying something. Several reviews here on Yelp simply use the word "crooks" to describe the management of this company; I'd have to agree. Zero integrity. They lost the key to my car while in their possession, and the ensuing 6 weeks of trying to get them to make it right were frustrating to say the least. As a valet, how do you lose a key?! That's the one thing you're supposed to do...park the car and hold on to the key! If you have the distinct misfortune of having some problem happen with Neumann, you will likely be referred to a manager named Abraham Gomez for "resolution". Just know that nothing he tells you will be true: If he says he will call you, he won't. If he says he has the problem solved, he doesn't. He won't respond to your emails, calls, or texts. His voicemail box is always full. Go in as heavy and hard as you can; these are some smooth talkers. Be clear that they readily admitted this was their fault; this was never a disagreement over liability. And god forbid these a$$hats agree to pay you money because you will NEVER see it. Document every communication and prepare to go to court, because that's where you will end up. As I scratch my head wondering how they can run a business this way, my best guess is that they hope you will just become bored or frustrated with their inability to solve the problem and give up. The owner, John Neumann, is also unresponsive when it comes to doing the right thing and fixing problems that his company/employees created. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! And now reading through these reviews, I wish to God I would had looked to Yelp BEFORE I hired this nightmare of a company. The owner JOHN is an obnoxious creep - unbelievable mouth and nerve! He threatened to have his driver leave my party at our venue if the driver wasn't allowed to run my credit card again for some crazy reason that I still don't understand. (I had already been charged the full amount 4 days before - even though he said it wouldn't happen until the day before the event). He forced me to get on the phone with him at the end of our event (midnight!) and then tried to charge me another $75 saying I ran over my time when he kept me from leaving! He billed me THREE times and I had to go to my bank and file a claim to reverse the charges. He screamed profanities at me and harassed me via text and phone. His staff is clueless to boot - voiding transactions, re-doing them - total mess. Oh, and for what it's worth - we were promised 2 bottles of champagne. We got one. And -- almost all the glasses in the limo were dirty - many of them with lipstick prints! This company is a total scam. I have no idea how they STAY in business - the owner is one of the most unscrupulous characters I've ever had the misfortune of crossing paths with. I actually heard from another user that he forced a driver to tote 5 underage girls around (13-14) for a birthday party WITHOUT adult supervision - and threatened to fire him if he didn't. I can't speak for the limo or valet service, but I can attest that the owner, John Neumann, does not care about you. One of his employees backed a customer's vehicle into my car. At first I thought this wouldn't be a big deal, however, after my insurance company advised that I should deal with Neumann enterprises directly to have my car repaired, I was in for a real shock. John Neumann asked that I take my vehicle to one of "his" body shops, which provides him with a discounted rate, to do the work. I wasn't too comfortable with taking my vehicle to his shop. Instead, I wanted to take my car to a shop I know would do a good job. This is where it got nasty. Mr Neumann was completely and utterly unprofessional. He would not accept that I wanted to take my car to the shop of my choice and only left me with the option of taking it to "his" shop. He yelled and argued with me and, quite frankly, was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. We rented a limo for a friend's 30th birthday around valentines weekend to cart us around a few bars/clubs so we wouldn't need a sober driver. After a little pre-partying before the limo arrived, I knew that some of the younger folk in our party of 10 were taking things a little too quickly. Long story short, our driver, instead of telling us that we were a bunch of drunk idiots (which a majority of the group was) was kind spirited, non judgmental, and volunteered to drive home each passed-out drunky individually, as the rest of the group partied on. He ended up having to do this three times! My wife and I felt terrible for our friend who's friends were dropping like flies, but our driver really helped us have the best time possible. I believe our driver's name was Greg - and he was a true champion! If I was in his shoes, I would have said "Sorry, but not my problem" as we had a hard time getting some people in/out of the limo, but he took the drunks home, and walked them to their door! One guy in our group was so out of it he actually started mouthing off to Greg - we were all (at least us so sober enough to understand) so embarrassed, but a big tip later, everyone went home happy, however, not everyone in our group felt so great the next morning. The drivers showed up right on time and were very friendly and courteous and the limos themselves were beautiful. My daughters wedding was on October 22nd, 2022. I had booked 3 shuttle buses to take our 320 guests a short (but un-walkable) distance from the ceremony site to the reception site. Less than 2 days before the wedding, I received and email, not even a phone call, stating that they could no longer accommodate my event! I had already confirmed my booking multiple time that week. I called them as soon as I got the email and left a message. They didn't call me back or respond in any way. It was devastating! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! We were fortunate enough to get in touch with the most amazing staff and Delta Charter and they stepped up big time. Do not use them. Hired them to drive us to a wedding in Nevada City. First, said they were sending a limo and they sent an executive SUV (which in their defense is what was on the estimate - but not what was verbally agreed to.) We went over our time by about 15 minutes and they charged us an extra hour - driver never mentioned we were over on time. Some of our group paid to take an Uber home - driver never offered to drive them when technically, we had another 45 minutes on the clock. When booking, we said we would pay a cash tip - company never mentioned that you had to tip 20%. Driver was fine but not outstanding. He basically chilled for the five hours we were at the wedding - not sure that justifies a 20% tip. I used Neumann for two rides on my wedding day: a limo and a party bus to shuttle the wedding party to different locations during our photography session. The two drivers were very professional, helpful, and patient. The first driver even took me (the bride) a little farther and helped coordinate the timing of my first look with the groom so that we did not see each other early. This is my first ever yelp review, as I am pretty easy to please, and follow the rule "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything". But - I am very disappointed in the integrity of this company. I used Neumann for a wine tasting excursion in early June the day before my wedding. My main issue (on top of many others I won't bore you with), was that the air conditioner in the limo didn't work, causing many of my guests to get sick with combined heat and nausea from the erratic driving. They wouldn't get us another car, and just told me to call the following Monday. I called and emailed numerous times, and the owner never called me back. I didn't want a refund, but at least for the owner to hear me and apologize. This company deserves to go out of business. read more

I really regret not reviewing the yelp reviews below before renting a limo from Neumann Enterprises (crooks) for my wedding. I originally reserved a limo for 3 hours to drive my wife to the church and to transport us and our bridal party to the reception. The church service took longer than we expected, 20 minutes over. Neumann Enterprises charged us a FULL HOUR over our original 3 hours. I contacted Neumann Enterprises so they could explain to me why they charged me for the full hour rather than the 20 minutes. I spoke to the same guy that I spoke to before and he said it "might" have been their policy. I asked if it would be possible to reverse this charge since I was unaware of this policy and he said that would not be possible. I said that I would hate to give him a bad review on yelp and he then accused me of "strong-arming" him and he said that the owner of Neumann Enterprises would not like that either. On the phone he made this sound like a threat as he raised his voice at me. I VERY strongly urge anyone considering to do business with this company to learn from my mistake and to look at the reviews below. read more
