No draft beer. Asked for a glass and we got plastic cups.

Let me start by saying I like their food. If you like authentic Mexican food I think this is the place. Although it can be greasy. My husband wanted Mexican food so we stop here. It's has a lot of room and also an outside patio. You order and pay at the bar, they'll bring it to you when it's done. After we placed our order I wanted to use the restroom to wash my hands. They told me that their bathroom wasn't working. Really??? So I asked if they had a place to wash my hands and the young lady let me use the sink behind the bar. Weird. This place has good food but I would recommend take out instead of eating it there.

Pastor burrito with rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, cheese, sour cream and avocado sauce.

Incredibly spiced food (just the right amount), fast and friendly service and nachos that are loaded and perfect to share. However, the true star of the dining experience is the Compadre Noodles. A full (32 ounce) bowl of consommé and a delicious and generous amount of Birria des Res sprinkled with cilantro and green onion. It's exactly the meal needed on a Spring Day that's chilly with snow flurries. Next time, if our weather cooperates it'll be warmer, and I plan to try those Cielito Fries -- carne asada, nacho cheese, tomato, sour cream and avocado sauce.

Pretty decent food! This is an order at the counter and get a number type of establishment. Lots of seating and many of the tables are pushed together for a family style dining option. Employees were really friendly as well. I ordered regular chicken taco as well as one of their speciality tacos. The green sauce was really good and tasted very fresh! I did visit the bathroom. They were out of paper towels but aside from that it was clean.

To be honest, I was underwhelmed when I walked in to the restaurant. I had heard good things about the food though, so I was in it to win it. Ordering is easy, it is counter service and the menus are easy to read. The wait was only 10 minutes or so, a little longer than I expected, but it was worth it. I ordered Pastor tacos and they were awesome! The pork was crispy, but still moist and flavorful. They are topped with diced onion and cilantro, and served with roasted onion and a jalapeno on the side. An unexpected surprise was a small side of consume for dipping. I ordered 3 and it was enough for a modest dinner. I could have eaten at least 2 more, but I figure its better to leave wanting more. There isn't really much for ambiance, its brightly lit with music playing a little too loud. On a nice weather day it would be great to sit outside on the front patio.

When I moved to Reno I was on a quest to find good pizza and good Birria. This was one of my better Birria experiences. Flavorful, decent portion size and they are consistent!

My first time in here at Cielito Lindo, the line was only about a 2 minute wait the service was excellent and I got to say the food was extremely good my sister ordered the goat burrito it was so tender and delicious and I ordered the shrimp tostada I loved it they have authentic rice and beans just like I love it we had our beverages horchata, we love ordering that and it was just as delicious. The burritos are huge can only eat like a fourth of it took the rest home for dinner we really liked it. Lots of room for family events or small ones it's a hidden Oasis come and try it you will not be disappointed, we will definitely go back here...

The food we ordered was good and worth the wait as it was prepared fresh. There is ample amount of seating and tvs for the game you wish to watch. Service was fast and friendly. A better ambiance would have allowed closer to a 5 star. There weren't any paper towels in the restroom and there's only one restroom.

Authentic Mexican are the words that come to mind when you walk into Cielito Lindo. Recommended by friend, we visited the location on Kings Row/North Mc Carran. The location is bright and festive, with the staff ready to serve. There was line when we were there, always a good sign (other than the wait). I ordered the El Compadre Combo, which included 3 Birria Tacos, Consume, Rice and Beans. The Birria Tacos were crispy and delicious. I upgraded for the Quesobirria Taco. A must do. My wife had the Asada Plate, which featured their amazing Arrachera Beef. A surprise with this dish were the (what looked like homemade) tortillas. Soft & flavorful, the tortillas really finished the dish.

Birra ramen and tacos were very good. French fries were kinda soggy but I did take it to go. Will be back!

I recommend. Has military / Veterans Discount.

First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Tacos are always subjective, but I'd absolutely recommend giving Ana's a try because there's something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are fun too, and I'll definitely be back.

Upon walking in,I was impressed with the patrons, this was a no frills crowd who looked like they were all in on a secret that this place was going to be a really good foodie spot. This is one of those spots where u walk up and order at the counter and they bring your food out to you.I loved the decor as you can really tell the owners are proud of their Jalisco roots. As an added bonus-I do tend to like taquerias that have pics of the menu items on the walls-always been a good luck charm for me that the place would be pretty good. We ordered a few things-A Super Burrito with Al Pastor($13.50)-it was pretty tasty-way way filling-killed my buzz totally-which I guess was the goal-I'd order it again for sure.We Also got a Shrimp taco($5)My wife is from Jalisco,so kinda picky with her Mexican food but she thought it was pretty tasty-one of the most flavorful tacos she has had in a long time.We also got the 2 enchilada plate with ground beef and chicken($15.50)-This dish came with rice and bean-I really liked the rice quite a bit and beans went well with the chips because of the added cheese on the beans. One thing I didn't love was the fact that you had to pay for chips and salsa-I'm sure I'm just spoiled from all the places that gives those out for free but I guess that's the way it goes-pretty sure it was like $3-no biggie. In closing-if u ever find yourself in Reno and u want something other than the commercial stuff they sell in the casinos-I would highly recommend walking across the street from Silver Legacy and walk into this little hole in the wall hidden gem of a restaurant and enjoy yourself a taste of Jalisco -you won't be disappointed.

Mexcal is a taco joint serving up elevated tacos that you can order one by one. These things are loaded up with protein and toppings, and they do not skimp on the portions! I was also shocked by how much duck they loaded up the duck confit taco with. That was probably my second favorite. Super tender duck with tons of flavor. Not much quantity so we had to ask for more. They gave us a little more. Seemed kind of stingy. Ambiance - Decent size location. Not busy at all on a Friday prime dinner time. This should have been a sign... Table, booth, and bar seating. Limited mall parking in front, but no problem getting a good space. Your outside signage needs some repairs. Service - Just okay. But I did NOT appreciate the hidden charges. 50¢ extra for chorizo. 3.5% credit card fee. If you disclosed it, it would NOT have made a difference, but nowhere on the menu nor did any employee mention these additional charges. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2018...?

The bread arrives with that perfect crusty exterior and airy interior that holds up beautifully once it's "drowned" in the vibrant, slightly spicy tomato-chile sauce. It tastes remarkably close to what you'd find in Jalisco, which makes it feel genuinely authentic rather than a watered-down version for tourists.
