Nice staff -great gelato in Rome that we love to stop in whenever we are in town. They were closed for holiday time for a few days but got we were able to still enjoy once they reopened. The BEST gelato in Rome! Off the beaten path just as all the good places are. I tried many in the touristy areas and they were not good. Some were just ok, some were bad. Don't fall for the tourist trap gelato shops! This place is a must if you want to try gelato! The pistachio is NOT colored green like all the other ones. If you know than you know REAL pistachio ice cream is not green. If pistachio ice cream is green it is artificial coloring and not good. Always go for the natural and it's the same for gelatos. In Italy, birthplace of gelato, feels like every corner has yet another one. Neve di latte feels out of the beaten tourist pathways, but not far from Castel Sant'Angelo. Every single flavor has the ingredients listed and they have a large variety of fresh flavors. Pure chocolate alone they have 3 kinds, making it so difficult to decide. They are really nice and we came during a slower time and they offered to let me try them to help me decide. I'm a dark chocolate fan and the favors were amazing. A small comes with 2 flavors and they fill your cup generously. I went with a chocolate and a cream based berry one which complements each other nicely. I've tried better gelato at other places. It was still good and delicious, but with all of the amazing gelato this city has to offer, this one wasn't my favorite. Also, the crepe that I ordered really let me down. It was dry and just overall not enjoyable. Definitely overcooked it. The service was great though, and they were very nice, so I'll give them that. And the interior was very cute and beautiful. Overall, a great place to enjoy some dessert, I just didn't think it was as delicious as some of the other gelato I've had in Italy. read more

The flavors are so concentrated and refreshing Raspberry, lemon, pistachio and fresh cream on top man. But seriously, i tried 5-6 places and just didn't want to waste anymore calories. This must be a new location because the reviews for other Neve di Lattes are excellent as well. Based on what I could understand (very little), it seems like their ingredients are organic -- happy cows? Anyway, I stopped by this gelateria because it was super close to my hotel and open until 1am with excellent wifi. The cones were super cheap and the flavors were excellent (to be honest, I didn't have bad gelato in Italy...) I loved the open seating and was able to work there until right before they closed. Kind of dangerous if you think about it - delicious ice cream that's cheaper than coffee + wifi + open late...luckily these don't exist back home. read more

So many flavor options! We loved them all (we tried twelve total), and all of them were delicious. They all had a strong flavor of what they were described as. Our favorites were the pistachio, hazelnut, the varieties of chocolates, and the cherry one! The flavors are so rich and full and they incorporated so many fresh ingredients. I have never had the same level of quality and freshness anywhere. So delicious! My husband and I stumbled onto this shop at 10:15pm after leaving the Castel Sant'Angelo without knowing anything about it. The shop is clean and hip looking and even that late at night had a line out the door. I was overwhelmed with choices and just asked them to pick for me, I was so happy I did so. I don't recall the name of the flavor but it was sweet cream based with Nutella fudge ribbons and hazelnuts on top. It was amazing!! It tasted so good I had to look them up.
