We recently contracted Progressive Construction to design and finish our basement. We had a total…read moreof 5 estimates before we decided to go with Progressive. Our initial meeting was with the actual Project Manager who was very knowledgeable and obviously experienced in the basement finishing process. He walked us through options, took notes, and then drew the entire basement (measuring every single wall). At this point, we had a pretty good idea we were going to go with them! We asked why he spent so much time measuring as the other companies didn't, and he said "if you want a scaled set of plans and renderings for this project", I need to make sure I measure everything! We received our estimate the same day (though he said 72 hours) and though it was on the higher end of the pricing it was not out of our reach. After some tweaking and refining of the drawings we proceeded with the project. Our project manager got us through this project in about 12 weeks and we couldn't be more pleased. The project wasn't perfectly executed but ANY issues were addressed immediately and quickly resolved by our seemingly 24 hour on call project manager. The final product was an immaculate piece of art and honestly, Progressive was able to exceed our expectations regarding the finished product. We plan to use them for any home improvement project they are willing to do for us. We will even call for the little things because once a customer always a customer (this is what someone on the reference told us!) They are NOT cheap, but they are good, thorough, and of the highest quality in craftsmanship anyone could ask for.

I was told that screws would be put in the subfloor to stop squeaks and that there would be leveling applied to level out the flooring. Well the floor still has squeaks and no underlayment was laid prior to installing the lvp flooring. Next is the horrific experience of the hardwood stair install. I went in and seen the flush return sticking about 1 inch away from the stringer and asked if that was supposed to be that way and Joel said yes. I told him I don't think that is the proper way to install the FLUSH return. He turned the blame on me and said that I was supposed to tell him (although I'm not the professional). When I told him I didn't like it his emotions set in and professionalism went out the window. He removed the flush return and proceeded to use the oscillating tool to cut the wood from the tread that was hanging past the stair by half an inch! The oscillating tool tore up the tread wood pretty badly and when he proceeded to glue the return piece there were gaps between the pieces. I then asked do you think it's best to use wood filler instead? Joel said No, thats how they do it. I'm not the smartest, but I'm sure liquid nails will look very different when sanding wood pieces that you are trying to make look seamless. Something just didn't feel right about the work and the supplies for each step ran about $60 and he had butchered 6 of them already. When I asked Joel is there any way he could show me the work he has done on stairs, so I can see how they had did others flush returns and staircases and feel more comfortable about the work he was doing. Joel got upset and said "you know what you can find someone else to the stairs." How UNPROFESSIONAL is that. He proceeded to gather his belongings and when my boyfriend came he tried to ask how can we fix the problem Joel said no you can find someone else. At that moment I didn't want anything else to do with the Zurdo company. I have video footage from my home camera of the entire interaction along with the improper work that was being done. If you are looking for a flooring company please do not consider Zurdo Flooring look elsewhere. Stairs are very expensive and then for a company to be so unprofessional in the quality of work and the way they handle business do not waste your money. I can't believe this is what I have to deal with and now I have to purchase more material that was completely damages and improperly installed.

If we filed a restraining order, please send us the paper work we served you with...oh, you can't, because it didn't happen. We never touched the tile, which is the basis for this review, before you stopped responding to me. I actually did send all evidence to Yelp Guarantee and they agreed to send back $2500 based on our evidence. Once that occurred, we got another company to demo the shower and the 24 X 48 tiles literally fell off the walls. I see that you changed the name and filed for a business license on 12/31/2024 (after you were last on our property mid-December). Congratulations. Remember in the state of GA, when you don't do the work yourself (since your knees are bad, remember?), you need a contractor's license for jobs over $2500.

I found the customer service provided during a visit in their showroom to be prompt and courteous (they stayed open a little longer to allow my family to visit) and they followed up multiple times during the project to ensure I was taken care of. While my job wasn't "big" at almost 700 sqft, they did knock it out with no hassle at all. I wasn't bumped for a bigger job or put on delay at all, from the time I walked in the store I was done in less than a week. The price was also fair and simply-explained. I took 4 quotes and All Service were the 3rd most affordable but the most readily available to work. The measurement was transparent and the broke down every single question my wife and I had so that we could make the best decisions for us and our home. No fluff, no bs, just answers to your questions and up front pricing. All service has me sold and I'll only use them for my floors from this point forward.
