New American's 5 Spice Pork Belly Bahm Mi was among the best things I've ever eaten. Can't wait to try them again!

This visit, I met up with a friend who lives in Old Worthington, and naturally this was our choice. There are lots of good food options around, but Worthington Tavern has a great patio, good service, delicious food, and is a solid choice. I made a reservation via OpenTable. Definitely recommended during lunch and dinner rushed. My friend got caught up with a work emergency and was running late, but there was no issue with me hanging out until she arrived. We hadn't caught up in a year or so, so it was great to sit outside on the patio and enjoy lunch and catch up. I had the Mezzaluna Ravioli with seasonal mushrooms, shallot, thyme, brie cream sauce, and fresh grated Parmesan. Delicious! Recommend this completely and might be my favorite dish I have had here. My friend had the Baby Iceberg Wedge and added grilled salmon. Kudos to our server, Emily. Service is always good here but she was exceptional and added to the visit. 5 stars this visit! Food, service, and atmosphere were on point!

There are three different areas to sit: the back patio, inside, or the front patio. All three areas are beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was such a chill vibe. Our waitress was a little slow, and it was sometimes difficult to get water refills, but it seemed like she was one of the only servers working, so I completely understood. My friend and I split everything we ordered. We started with the smoked chicken wings with blue cheese and celery. The wings were delicious, although the celery came in very small, thin pieces. I would have preferred actual celery sticks. We also ordered the Honey Brussels Sprouts, which were my favorite dish of the night. They were so good and definitely something I would order again. For pizza, we got the Caprese Pizza with homemade pizza sauce, fresh-sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic glaze. It was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh. We made our reservation for 7:30 so we could stay and listen to the live acoustic guitar player at 9:30. That ended up being a little late for us, so we moved inside to watch him perform. It was a great way to end the night. Overall, I really enjoyed my first experience at Worthington Tavern. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed, and it would be a great place to come with a group of friends. I will definitely be back!

I added bacon and it left the perfect pairing of perfectly cooked egg, chives, cheese, and thicker sliced bacon chunks. I also ordered the strawberry matcha latte, and the chocolate fudge cookie to go. The service is fantastic. They have outdoor, indoor, and some community style bar seating. You order at the counter and then a staff person will bring your food to the table. There are soda and water machines available for self refills. Everything was delightful and made for a nice treat yo' self brunch.

I use vibe intentionally here as it seems like the kind of word this place requires. All the servers wear black t-shirts, which is, you know, a vibe. But you are not here for vibe recommendations, you want to know about the food. Sure, but one more thing, this place can be busy, but it also has some gigantic tables inside and out so if you have a larger party, it might be a good choice for you. Typically if you have a smaller party you will end up at the opposite end of one of these tables from some other people vibing along with you. Chill, it's fine. Food. Yes the reason you are reading this. I'm almost there. However, I would be remiss not to mention that you order at the counter when you come in. The menu is simple, but if you have anxiety about deciding you might check out the menu online before coming. Alright, the food. So I have eaten here dozens of times over the last seven years and never had anything bad. I have sampled across the menu and salads to burgers, it is solid and in some cases great. The food is fresh and hand made to satisfy. Tonight I had the veggie enchiladas and they were top notch. Another favorite of mine is the Buddha Bowl, but you also can't miss with a burger which tends to get messy. They have a soda (pop) machine that is self-serve and features regular cola and root beer alongside a cream soda and birch beer. The vibe at the soda fountain is decidedly bubbly. Alternatively, they have a small but well-curated offering of beer and wine. The best thing? Once you have eaten this real food meal and feel chill AF you can step next door to Jeni's and get some ice cream. There is no vibe quite like that.

We saw this spot and decided to hit them up for a din-din and beer on this auspicious late afternoon. We were seated and they quickly brought out a menu - including one for our pup! How cool was that? I ordered their house lager- hubby ordered chicken Caesar salad- I got chicken tenders and waffles for me with fried okra for the table- puppy got a whole chicken breast- nice! Ok the taste - I'm not a huge okra fan. But these fried little morsels were spiced up and hit the spot- hubby loved his salad while I munched down my chicken and waffles like - you know - stat! And the service was great- definitely was awesome. If you want a little taste of the south? Check this place out?

The atmosphere was modern with a southern twist. I'm not going to lie, I chuckled a bit when I noticed my water glass said "Bless Your Heart". In Appalachian culture, this is actually an insult. We had a large group, but the service was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and everything was brought out timely and correctly. My food was really good! It was brunch time so I had coffee, the "Mimosa of the Moment" which was an apple cinnamon, a biscuit with blueberry preserves, and the Southern Shakshouka. All were fantastic and I would definitely get again. I also thought the price was affordable for the quantity.

Our choices: lamb appetizer, black cod, sirloin, and chocolate mousse; each were tasty, presented well, and excellent dishes. The potato cake on the steak was very different and well done. Our Old Fashion had a nice taste. The place is very small and reservations are a must. The GM Michael came by and chatted us up...to thank us for coming, and glad they were able to accommodate our food needs. Nice touch. Excellent bathrooms. Thanks for that. The small cozy atmosphere was a delight to enjoy a wonderful meal and conversation. The drinks were exceptionally great and since I'm coming from California, very affordable. The food was delicious, especially the braised beef croquets, chicken friend mushrooms, whipped ricotta, and sourdough. The pork collar and the tare squash were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I requested the sommelier to recommend a wine that would compliment our order and the Domaine de Ferrand Chateauneuf - du- Pape a fine French wine from the Rhone Valley was our selection. This was a beautiful bottle and fine selection. John, our server was the perfect gentlemen and server with great personality and full of customer service.
