Back when I lived in San Francisco, my prior roommate from France would often get a craving for some "janky chinese food". That is probably the best way to desribe this spot, and I mean it in a good way. Greasy, a little grimy - janky. This has become my go-to spot for chinese food in bushwick, and for a booze slushy on a hot day. I have eaten inside the establishment, and have also ordered take out, as well as on uber eats on multiple occasions. The noodles always hit, their fried rice is flavorful, and gotta get some protein with the crackling fried chicken. I've tried many other protein dishes that have been good such as orange beef, general tso chicken, and more. I will say the one disappointing order I've had is with a shrimp dish, as it was quite small with about 7 pieces of shrimp in total. Oh - they don't take credit card so come prepared with debit, cash, or apple pay!

New Apollo delivers a delightful dining experience, it's a hood favorite as told by some of the regulars in the area The food is fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that leave you satisfied. The rice and wings are elite. The service is attentive and friendly, ensuring you feel right at home. For drinks the blue Hawaiian is a vibe I highly suggest it frozen The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between casual and cozy, making it a great spot for any occasion.

Had lived around the corner from this New Apollo for better part of 6 years. Was a go-to location that provided Chinese + Puerto Rican food in an authentic way. When I told my friend who I took with me on this trip pictured, could only reply with "they serve pork fried rice & tostones together?" It's a gem of a place with a full bar for those wanting to get a bevi a little more adult. A must-go-to if ever in Bushwick area. If you're looking for a space that makes you feel apart of community? new Apollo is a great spot to start with in Bushwick

Ambiance: 5/5 it's been here for years!!! Don't be looking for NO 5 Michelin star it's located in the heart of Bushwick. It isn't for the weak..... Service: Okay, this Asian cuisine, so they are fast and on point!!!! But they know the community, and it's really great to see a beautiful dynamic with everyone that comes in. Food: I order the sesame chicken and the general tso chicken with vegetables fried rice. This was everythinggggg and I got the bubblegum frozen with extra strawberry BABYYYY. That drink is all you need is one trust them drinks SKRONG!!!!!!!

Still the best Chino Latino in Town. Fast service and great food. What more can you ask for? In my younger years I would do the drinks too but I cant hang like that anymore. Lol. The drinks are delicious and strong. Ps. They went from giving you 5 Ribs, to 4, to now 3. I get it. you're trying to make money but don't skim with your customers. They keep you open for business. Thats my only complaint ^^^^^^^^^^

Places like New Apolo are few and far in between. This place is unlike any other, serving up incredible cocktails and no frills Chinese/Spanish cuisine. The service leaves nothing to be desired, both food and drink orders come out of the kitchen within minutes. Weekends can get a little hectic so plan ahead and get in before the rush. For drinks, some of the best are Miami Vice, Blue Hawaiian and Ninja Turtle. Definitely recommend the slushy drinks over blended or on the rocks. For food, you can't go wrong with the orange chicken and their crackling chicken is excellent. The overall vibe of this place is incredible, truly unmatched. I love New Apolo.

Been coming here for years now..especially since I can walk to it instead of drive to the Williamsburg location. Food is alright but I definitely come here for their drinks! Their service is good but the only negative thing is at times on Friday & Saturday nights the line has gotten way too long & way too noisy with people wanting to fight & cause problems.

They were stuffed with a great crispy flavorful shell. The kale salad was a take to a Ceasar salad. You can taste the bits of anchoives which wasn't overly salty. My sister had the burger that had flavorful juices leak through the bread. Definitely had to grab a bite. My wide and I split their sampler of meats on a sizzling plate. Cant remember the name of the dish. The blood sausage was great. And the various meats was unbelievable. My daughter had the ravioli that was perfectly cooked with a refreshing lightly acidic sauce. Good lighting, good music, and the hostess was nice. We started with the gruyere and fontina empanadas and honestly that combo is one of my favs. Cheesy, simple, and comforting. I liked the Uruguayan sausage more than I expected, especially since it was easy to share. The octopus with lima beans was good but got a little lost with all the beans. The chicken liver pate could have been great, but the toast was real bad and didn't let the dish shine the way it should have. The halibut ended up being my favorite entree of the night. Fresh and balanced with the broccolini. The flan was amazing, creamy, smooth, not too sweet. I would absolutely order that again. Some dishes were more hit or miss. The squid ink ravioli sounded good on the menu but came out a bit under seasoned and not as warm as it should have been. The short ribs were tender and nicely braised, just pretty standard. Good, but not memorable. Service was inconsistent and not as attentive. A few dishes could have been more thoughtful with timing and temperature. We did not get to try the ribeye or skirt steak this time. Overall it feels like a place with potential. Not a bad experience, just a bit hit or miss for me to travel the distance for.
