I took a drive here earlier today with my husband who was in the market for a new pair of sneakers/walking shoes. He can be a tough fit for any and all clothing because at 6'3" tall with a size 13 wide foot, things can be limited in stock. As it is, he has all his dress shirts made for him and he has had suits custom made to ensure an impeccable and comfortable fit. Lucky for him, the particular sneakers he was looking for were not only in stock here in his size but at a lower (factory outlet) price. The customer service was impeccable. A salesman named Hector assisted him and brought out not only the shoe he was looking for but a couple of other examples for Tom to try on and consider. For essentially what is an outlet store, this level of service seemed above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. The store also sells, lots of other New Balance sportswear for both men and women....leggings, sweats, jackets, gym wear, socks and even hats and gloves all under the New Balance label. As this is a "factory store" with lower prices, you cannot always count on finding the exact thing you are looking for and in your size. That said, there seemed to be a huge array of inventory of all kinds. There are some things sold here that are "factory" seconds but those are clearly marked. If not marked as such you can be assured they are first quality. New Balance is a local Massachusetts company so it is nice to give them our business. Many, although not all, New Balance shoes are manufactured in the United States and they employ many New Englanders amongst their 5 manufacturing sites in Massachusetts and Maine. This is a good new story from a good news company trying to do the right thing here in the USA. This store is a bit out of the way for us but I would definitely return. There is another outlet a bit closer to us in Brighton but for us, that means traipsing in and through the city and ending up in a potential parking nightmare. Here, there is plenty of easy and free parking and the store and its layout are large and easy to navigate. read more

Excellent customer service! Was greeted the moment I walked in. Was asked if I needed assistance. They didn't have a sneaker I wanted in my size, they was able to order it for me and ship it to my house!!! Right now they have 30 percent off the clearance section, I racked up!!! I spent $210 for 6 pairs of sneakers and a backpack! Will definitely be coming back again. read more

I literally just left there...I feel a way honestly.. Havent had a day off in a while and wanted to check out the buy 1 get one 1/2 off sale..wanted to surprise the wife when she got home with some new sneakers as we're headed out of town next weekend.. 1) As I walked in the door and began to glance at the isles I could count about 4 associates...none who said one thing to me the whole time.. 2) As I was trying my sneakers on you could overhear to associates talking in the next row...no clue who said what but I know what I heard.. "Yo I be the one getting mad sales around here...usually people come in to shop..I help them..the rest of the people that come in here dont buy shit!....youll see its real cool here" 3) It was obviously not a race thing because after I finished my search I strolled through the store one more time seeing if anyone would ask if I...or anyone else at the time needed help or if I was all set.... Nothing 3) I walk to the front of the store and in the corner it seemed as though they were having a meeting..after I stood there a few minutes I could see a blonde woman mumble something to her employee telling her to check out out.. 4) I honestly believe "DiTasha" was ready to go home. She was either too fed up with everything or that was just her attitude... Example.. When I asked her if the sneakers I was buying were part of the sale? She responded rather sharply "Well one of the sneakers was 30.00 so yeah" Or something to that nature.. After saying thank you I left... My wife and I have been in the service industry all of our lives...if I told her about the experience I just had she would probably tell me to take the sneakers back but I wont...dont want to ruin the moment.. As far as the New Balance store? Back to Amazon I go. No amount of convenience is that good to deal with that.. read more

Visited today for the first time ever. Saw it was opening a few months ago, so thought to check out this new location (as I have gone to the Allston location years ago). Beware, unless there is a MAJOR sale, the store isn't really a discount at all. Now, today (thru Sunday), the entire store was 40% off (I thought this only happened at Old Navy, guess more places are starting to discount the entire store). Anyway, overall good store, with good shoes, clothing, and employees (numerous employees came around asking me and other customers if they needed any help, which was pleasant and helpful to have). Would return, but probably only during one of their BIG sales again. read more

Just like DuJuan below said, avoid that blonde woman if you can. Always chatting with one of the staffs there and giving you the eye as if you're a nuisance in the store (esp if you come in there with a child). She must be pissed for having to work on a Sunday or she's just not a people person. You're in the wrong industry blondie. Check that attitude or just don't be in a service industry. Mmm..ma'am..I'll take my money and spend it elsewhere or on New Balance website instead. Other than that, all the other staffs are extremely helpful and great. Sad that one person's attitude could affect your whole experience in the store. read more

If a customer calls ahead to ask if you have a specific style in a specific color and size in stock, why would you confirm that you have said shoe in stock if you do not, especially after the customer informed you of a 20 minute drive to your location? Imagine my disappointment upon arriving at your location to discover that not only did you not have this particular shoe in stock, but you didn't have anything even remotely close to it. We walked in and a woman came right up to us with a tablet and asked us if we needed help and found over a dozen different sneakers for him to choose from. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! The store itself is in a great spot. I stopped in on my way to IKEA and was pleasantly surprised to find a huge selection of women's shoes and apparel. I live in Stoughton so it is much easier for me to go to Avon instead of Brighton. The prices are unbeatable as well! If you are in the area, I definitely recommend stopping in.
