First of all, the customer service factor was through the roof. We were the only customers for about 15 minutes. During that time one of the owners (a genuinely charming husband-and wife team) measured her foot, suggested styles she might like and spoke knowledgeably about - what else? comfortable shoes! Once the line of customers started rolling in, he and his wife handled each person with care and courtesy. I was surprised at how many people are out looking for what `are - let's be frank - old lady shoes. I was also surprised at how many times I looked at a style and said, "I'd actually wear that one!" Propet, Asics, New Balance, Aetrex, Drew, Foamtreads - you name it, they have a comfortable shoe for men & women in every size from the narrowest to widest. Dressy, casual, running and walking shoes are all here. Granted, we're talking mostly shades of black, brown or cream but still if your feet are looking to be cushioned, cossetted or float along - go here! They will get down on the floor like shoe people used to do, measure for your exact sze, regardless of what you THINK it is, and find you a pair of shoes to fit perfectly. We spent 90 minutes while Mum tried on pair after pair, walked around the store and debated the merits of brown vs. brown vs cognac vs. brown. They were patient, pleasant and encouraged her to take her time!! Have you been to a retail environment lately where (1) a person wanted to help you, (2) was patient and understanding, (3) didn't leave you to work things out for yourself? The back wall was lined with all the orthotics you could want to make your shoe feel perfect. I fondled the pretty laces longer than I really should have and almost bought a pair of woven fabric oxfords that, in my defense you really have to see to appreciate. I'm not going to be here every week, but we walked out with exactly one pair of shoes that aren't ugly, are casual and sporty-looking, weren't overpriced and are most definitely comfortable. These are professional shoe peeps who know their styles and are willing to go the extra mile to make a customer for life. Go here and feel appreciated!

Had numerous questions regarding my medical condition involving my feet which were all answered. My questions involving the proper sizing of my shoes was quickly resolved as they promptly measured both of my feet. No pressure sales at all. I was told to do my research and look around before committing to a certain brand(SAS, New Balance). Came back the next day and purchased a pair of SAS sneakers at a great price. I was really pleased with the level of care and professionalism that was extended to me during my multiple visits. At one point a gentlemen in a wheelchair was leaving the establishment and the owner quickly broke away from my questions and wheeled that man up the ramp and into his vehicle. Enough said there. Here is an overview of my experience and why I found the staff to be helpful. I wanted to make a shoe purchase for my 4 year old. I was planning on getting her a pair of Huaraches by Nike. The female staff member explained to me why the shoe may not be the best choice due to their design which has a rubber type material that surrounds the shoe. She explained how the shoe can be difficult for children to put on. Everything she said and demonstrated made sense and she showed me Roshe One by Nike that are similar to the Huaraches but easier for a young child to put on by themselves. I should also note that there was a $10+ difference that benefitted my pocket. Overall, I will return to this store based on the excellent customer service, variety and prices.

He can be a tough fit for any and all clothing because at 6'3" tall with a size 13 wide foot, things can be limited in stock. As it is, he has all his dress shirts made for him and he has had suits custom made to ensure an impeccable and comfortable fit. Lucky for him, the particular sneakers he was looking for were not only in stock here in his size but at a lower (factory outlet) price. The customer service was impeccable. A salesman named Hector assisted him and brought out not only the shoe he was looking for but a couple of other examples for Tom to try on and consider. For essentially what is an outlet store, this level of service seemed above and beyond and was greatly appreciated. The store also sells, lots of other New Balance sportswear for both men and women....leggings, sweats, jackets, gym wear, socks and even hats and gloves all under the New Balance label. As this is a "factory store" with lower prices, you cannot always count on finding the exact thing you are looking for and in your size. That said, there seemed to be a huge array of inventory of all kinds. There are some things sold here that are "factory" seconds but those are clearly marked. If not marked as such you can be assured they are first quality. New Balance is a local Massachusetts company so it is nice to give them our business. Many, although not all, New Balance shoes are manufactured in the United States and they employ many New Englanders amongst their 5 manufacturing sites in Massachusetts and Maine. This is a good new story from a good news company trying to do the right thing here in the USA. This store is a bit out of the way for us but I would definitely return. There is another outlet a bit closer to us in Brighton but for us, that means traipsing in and through the city and ending up in a potential parking nightmare. Here, there is plenty of easy and free parking and the store and its layout are large and easy to navigate.
