The whole staff was wonderful, but I worked with Janessa specifically and she was incredible! She listened to what I wanted and pulled every dress I asked for, which was quite a few. The dress I was convinced wouldn't be my dress, they didn't have my size that would fit properly so she grabbed a very close alternative and it was my dream dress! It was nothing like I initially thought I wanted, but it was perfect and better than I could've imagined. And it fit me perfectly! Janessa did an incredible job helping me find my wedding dress. Also, when I said yes and we were taking my measurements to order it, my sizing was not matching up with the manufacturer's and her and Courtney were both trying to figure it out and they told me I could buy it off the rack since we knew it fit me well. My daughter found her wedding dress here after searching at several different stores for a dress. They had a decent amount of dresses to try on but I would say the majority of the dresses are mid to high end (at least for our budget 1500 and up). The place was very clean and minimalistic and modern feeling. I loved the vibe. The ladies working were very sweet and helpful. Very welcoming and very helpful on all levels. We did find her dress on the clearance rack which was fantastic. The reason I took a star off is that the dress was too big on her but the gal helping made it seem like it would be a fairly easy alteration to size it down. We purchased the dress (even though on the clearance rack, still 1200.00) and took it to our alterations lady. After conferring with the alterations lady, who we have used for years and knows her stuff, we learned it is not an easy fix and what my daughter was told could be done, is nearly impossible . At any rate, the alterations that can be done will ensure that the dress is perfect for the wedding date. Just know that some alterations cannot be done and that ones that can be done are expensive. You might want to check with whoever is doing your alterations, if you have to get them done, to see what you want done, entails and what the cost is. Even though you may love the dress, it might be better to keep looking unless you have an endless budget. Overall, we are pleased with the shop and definitely recommend, just keep the above comments in mind. read more

I'm so excited to write this review because I honestly believe this is the best place to shop for a wedding dress! NBB was my first shop to check out wedding dresses and this is where I found THE ONE! I want to give a shout out to Staci who assisted me the whole way through. She was super helpful and I didn't feel pressured at all, she made sure I was comfortable and felt beautiful in every dress I tried on. The shop just has a beautiful aesthetic to it and it feels elegant walking in. The rooms are spacious, lots of room for your guests and a little fitting room for privacy when putting on the dress. The selection of dresses are all so beautiful and there is truly something for everyone. I also really like that you only need to pay half of your total when you purchase your dress and the other half when you pick it up! Makes it more convenient when you have so many other things to pay for when you're planning a wedding! I booked an after hours event at new beginnings and Hannah was our host. She was so incredibly helpful and easy to work with. I know having 10 women in one room can probably get chaotic but she was awesome! I ended up buying my wedding dress that night and I am super happy with it. She knew what she was doing when clipping the dress and fluffing the train. I literally cannot say enough good things about New Beginnings Bridal, and the amazing women who work here (specifically Janessa!) When I made my appointment, I was about 4 weeks away from my wedding day, and had already purchased a dress from a different shop that i didn't love and dreaded wearing. I was already at my budget limit for my wedding, and honestly came in with the intention of trying on a few dresses to convince myself that i actually did love the dress i already owned. As soon as i walked into the shop, everyone was so friendly and nice. Janessa is an absolute angel. From the moment we met i could tell she sympathized with my situation and genuinely wanted me to feel beautiful on my wedding day regardless of if i purchased a new dress or went through with the one i had already. She let me wander the store and pick out dresses i liked, and based on my reactions to them, she picked a few off the rack for me that she thought i might like. I told her from the beginning i wanted to look like a "Fairy Princess" on my wedding day, and leave it to fate for her to pick out a dress that was absolutely PERFECT. The dress she picked for me was exactly my size, needed no alterations, and was extremely affordable (the front desk girls even gave me an additional discount on the dress). The dress she picked was something i never would have picked for myself. i was convinced i wanted something with nude, champagne or blush colored details, i had never pictured myself in anything close to a ballgown, and i have a larger chest so i never thought a strapless dress would be realistic or comfortable. After i purchased my dress, New Beginnings sent me a hand written card congratulating me and wishing me well on my wedding day. When i went in to pick up my dress, they gave me an adorable "Mrs." mug as an additional gift! I literally cannot thank Janessa enough for everything. I had high expectations for my appointment and I can't even begin to tell you what a DELIGHTFUL and INCREDIBLE experience I had at New Beginnings! I was, like many, a suppose to be 2020 summer bride. I had shopped for my dress late 2019 and early 2020 and found "the one". Long story short, like everything else affected by COVID, my original dress didn't end up working out. SO, I ended up at New Beginning just 6 weeks before my 2021 wedding date to find a new dress. And not only did I find it, but I found Daron! She was phenomenal. Out of the more than 10 bridal studios I visited between 2019 and now, this was hands down THE BEST experience. From the moment we opened the door and were greeted by the ladies at the front, including Daron, everything had that feeling a bride expects to feel. I absolutely LOVE New Beginnings! I said yes to the dress in a hours time! Janessa helped me and was amazing and answered all my questions and gave me great insight with ZERO pressure. She was a joy. Now the only thing I have to say is the seamstress Jen came recommended and she absolutely butchered my dress. The hem work, terrible communication, and literally my dress not even looking the same. I picked up my dress 43 days before my day (Thank God!) I swear I got it back and it wasn't even my dress. It completely changed. Material was missing, it was s completely different shape, beading was falling off, and it looked like a 5 year old cut up my dress. I also have to add one side of my dress is a foot longer than the other side. I was horrified, heart broken and shocked!! I do NOT recommend Jen. I did take it back immediately to which Daron assisted me on the spot. I was balling my eyes out and she was so sweet. She was optimistic and even was trying to improvise on how to solve this huge problem. I stood there crying for 3 hours trying to figure out what happened to my dress. She was so nice the entire time. She helped figure out how to get it back to where I could somewhat see my dress. The next day my my mom and I are trying to figure out what went wrong and we found one side is a foot longer than the other. So I am going back to try and figure it out tomorrow. Today when I got home I got sent a bouquet of flowers and a cute box of stuff with well wishes. Which I thought was so nice. They've been so helpful. I highly recommend them! I have only amazing things to say about New Beginnings Bridal! I found my dream wedding dress here this past weekend and had the best experience with their bridal consultant Hannah. First, it is the cutest bridal boutique I have ever been inside of! Every bride has their own personal room to try dresses on in with 6 seats to fit their guests. It provides such a comforting, calm, and private space to try on wedding dress after wedding dress instead of having to come out to a communal space where 5-6 other brides are also trying on dresses. Second, all of the dresses are hanging on racks inside the shop, organized by designer, so you can personally look at every dress they have in stock and pick out the dresses you want to try on. This made my experience so personalized since I could pick out the dresses I liked, and my family could even pick out some for me too! Also, this gave me peace of mind that I saw all of their dresses, so there is no question in my mind that I chose the right one. There is not chance of second guessing my decision! Third, Hannah was so patient with me and my 5 guests I brought with me! I ended up choosing the very first dress I tried on, but she patiently helped me in and out of about 8 other dresses until I finally decided to put back on the first dress and say yes. She also did such an amazing job fielding 6 different peoples opinions and helping me pick out dresses that fit my vision and met every one of my expectations. I am so amazed with my experience at New Beginnings and I would recommend everyone I know who may be on the search for their perfect dress to definitely try them out. I'm a little bit on the indecisive side so I ended up scheduling a VIP appt which gave me 120minutes and 10 guests with the studio to ourselves which made it such a more relaxing atmosphere. Cortney was there helping me with the dress fitting and she's made for the job-- I can't say enough great things about her. She made sure to help find things in my budget and style. When I was stuck between two choices she helped me have my moment alone so I could make a more definite decision. No pushyness, just genuine help! I made an appt. @ 1pm and started the hour drive to get to the boutique wedding shop. 30min into my drive I got a text saying they couldn't honor the appt. and said they could see me at 2:30. I requested to know why they would offer a time slot on their website that was not really open and let them know I could not accomodate the change to 2:30. they replied letting me know they could see me at 1:30 instead. I am finally able to write this review now that we have eloped and our family all knows. I went to New Beginnings for my second time shopping, and knew exactly what I wanted. I told Janessa about a dress I had tried on the night before and she was instantly able to tell me who the designer was and pull similar styles, including that designers current dresses. My appointment ended up running over but it was well worth it, I narrowed it down to three dresses which I kept going back and forth on and Janessa was so patient the entire time helping me get back in and out of the dresses. When I narrowed it down to two dresses, she was able to offer input on the pros and cons of each - I was worried about the top of the dresses not fitting well and she put my mind at ease based on the designer she had worn for her own wedding. Every time I see our wedding photos I fall in love with my dress all over again. It could not have been a more perfect dress, or a more perfect day. The salon was so clean and the women there all make you feel very special. I could not recommend New Beginnings or Janessa more! Courtney was THE BEST consultant ever and made sure that I never tried on something over my budget and to keep me informed of price and style at all times. This is a top notch bridal studio in Puyallup. My sister bought her dress here a few months ago, and NB was friendly and helpful whenever I called inquiring about dresses and appointments. I did buy my dress elsewhere b/c they don't carry Pronovias - but if they did, I would have purchased it here in a heartbeat!! Here's why: 1) Friendly, flexible, cool. Could be the title of the next TLC album and it also describes their customer service. 2) Lines they *do* carry: Maggie Sottero (eh), Sottero Midgley (getting better), Mori Lee (nice!), Martina Liana (nice!) and Stella York (which had my runner-up dress). 3) They gave my sister a bit of a discount on her dress. 4) They had a huge amount of beautiful accessories like belts and veils, and were getting more in! 5) The WEBSITE - unlike most salons, they put actual pictures of all the dresses they have in stock on their site. I have to say this is one of the nicer bridal studios I've been to during the course of my wedding dress search. I made an appointment beforehand, and upon arrival was greeted with a smile by Gabby. The dress selection here is very nice, and somewhat varied (I would have liked to have seen more strapped options) and the prices are reasonable. The store is very well lit, and the overall ambiance really drives home the "this is for your special day" feeling every bride to be should feel in a bridal salon. While trying on dresses, I overheard one of the girls telling someone on the phone that they carry "real people sizes", which they do as opposed to everything being a size 2 in the store. Gabby was super patient with me in finding dresses that matched my stipulations, and while I have a pretty good idea of what looked good, Gabby did an exceptional job pulling dresses that actually were very flattering that I would have otherwise never even given a chance. The staging area was very nice and well lit, and looked to accommodate the viewing parties. They were kind enough to contact the designer of the one dress I was interested in within 15 minutes of my leaving the store to let me know if it was available in my size. Great customer service. While I haven't found the dress I can't live without just yet, Gabi definitely helped me in my quest. read more

I absolutely loved this Bridal shop! It was so clean and very personable. The way the shop was set up allowed you to have your own little room for your Bridal party to view the dresses you tried on. They had a GREAT selection of dresses. So many options to be able to find that perfect dress. The lady that helped me was Daron Snyder she gave me her card and style number of the dress I loved written on the back. I was able to track it down to view later on their website. She was so nice and just super sweet. She literally pulled exactly what I wanted. She definitely listened to me and understood exactly what I was looking for. Which was incredible. Beautiful boutique in a good location. They have a lot of on trend dresses, and do trunk shows which is awesome. We came here for my BFFs first dress try on and sadly she didn't like the experience. It was a little chaotic, random people came in and out. We didn't get to look around at dresses, it was let's narrow down the style first, and then they pulled the dresses. However they had her try on dresses not her size, so she felt uncomfortable leaving the boutique. It seemed rather rush. This is my first time writing a Yelp review because I was so compelled by my EXCELLENT experience at New Beginnings! I had a great experience finding and purchasing my dress over Christmas. Despite the corporate vibes of being located in a outdoor mall, the interior to New Beginning is beautiful, updated, and welcoming. It felt like such a treat to have our own dressing room with yet another private dressing room inside of the private room so that I didn't have to get in and out of dresses in front of my entourage and it also made it easy to try on more dresses!! There was a chalkboard sign with my name on it welcoming us to our room, which was filled with lovely comfy couches and pedestal with 3-way mirror for checking out dresses. My whole entourage was able to help go through the racks of dresses and pick out favorites as well as a selection I made online from their online store - they definitely encouraged us all to get involved! The dresses were super organized, clean, and well displayed (each dress had a photo attached with the dress on a model and the price clearly displayed). Our appointment lasted over an hour and I tried on probably 10 dresses. My consultant helped me get in an out of each dress and was super sweet and supportive. I actually fell in love with TWO dresses during the appointment and had to go home to decide which one to choose! The shop owner actually allowed us to stop by when the store was closed the day after Christmas so we could purchase my dress!!! It was such a great experience overall and then to push it over the top they give you a mug with their store name and "Mrs" on the front when you purchase your dress! This little bridal studio is amazing! I've visited a few bridal shops over the past few weeks, but couldn't find quite the right dress that I absolutely loved. I found this place on Yelp because of all the 5 star reviews it received. I live in Issaquah so driving down to Puyallup didn't sound appealing, but I made an appointment and I'm so glad I did. I found my stunning dress here and Daron was absolutely amazing. As a uber picky person, it's quite hard to please me, but this shop had a wide variety of dresses that fit my style. And the price point was within my budget. We got lost trying to find this shop, but Daron was so sweet and helpful trying to get us to the shop. Once we got there, she welcomed us with a friendly smile. She let us browse the shop to get an idea of what my style was and we started there. I tried on several dresses that was close to my style and Daron definitely help me narrow down (based on my style, price point and what would be available). The shop may be small, but its so well put together where as the bride, i had my own area that was curtained off with cute seating area for my mom. I didn't feel like I was being forced into anything, no special prices if you buy today crap. I came and tried my 3 final choices on at least 4 different times before I purchased and they were just as excited to see me every time. Store is clean, bright and airy. Plenty of room with lots of selection. My consultant was amazing and she saw me every time I came back. She picked a few dresses for me to try and based on what I liked and didn't like about them she easily found my perfect dress. This is how I think shopping for a wedding dress should be like. I walked in, had a nice chat with the consultant (Doran?) explaining some things I did and did not want and let her know my price range. She went out and found one or two dresses to start with - I tried them on, told her exactly what I did and did not like about the dresses and she took it from there. I felt like she really listened to what I was saying and came back with dresses that matched what I was saying. I ended up finding the perfect dress, but I wasn't quite ready to commit since I had one another dress appointment the same day. She didn't try to pressure me at all to buy the dress at that moment. I ended up going back the same evening to order my dress (hooray!!) and all of the people were sooo helpful and nice. I went to 4 local bridal salons and this one was by far the best - best consultants, great selection, and a comfortable setting. :) read more

I liked this place a lot because it was bright, spacious, and had the designers that I wanted all in one place. The consultants were helpful and mindful of budget constraints. They listen to your thoughts and tune into designs that you are attracted to. I didn't purchase my gown here because they don't charge MSRP. I found a place the charges less for the same dress closer to where I live. I would have bought the same dress at new beginnings just because I liked my consultant so much but I had to factor in money, time to travel, and gas. Driving from Seattle takes time. She was so helpful, sweet, understanding, and patient. She is the absolute best!!!!!!!! I can't say enough about her. I had two appts with her, one to try on new dresses and the next to try on the dress again that I loved from the first appt with her. Love love love this place. Got married in the spring of 2014. While searching for my wedding gown it was definitely stressful. Been to 20+ wedding dress Boutiques and couldn't find a dress that was affordable, my price range that was a "Princess tulle dress" they would range to 2,100-3,000 back then. I refused to buy a dress for that much! finally my older sister recommended this place. I went with her and I couldn't believe the prices! I got my Princess tulle gown for 950$ ...they told me that if I purchased the gown without any alterations they would sell it for 950$ originally the price was 1,200$ it was 1 size bigger and I need to add sleeves I didn't mind since we have a family friend that would do the Alterations for a cheaper price.
