Mou & Arti are sweethearts and Mou did my eyebrows and she did exactly what I asked. I'm letting my eyebrows grow due to a bad experience of threading and I know it's going to be a process to grow them out but she did a nice job of cleaning them up for me. I inquired about eyelash extensions and she provided me with a nice overview of what they were and which kinds they had and what would look natural on me so I went for them and loved them! Eyebrows $6 and eyelashes $60 (they have from $45 and up) and walked out of there very satisfied. Will be back for sure! I'm not giving them a 5 star only because you have to pay for parking AND the inside looks like it still needs to be completed and organized but other than that it was a good place and great customer service from these ladies. read more

After 3 years of rehab with my eyebrow lady in TX, my eyebrows had grown out from being chronically uneven and they were perfect. Unfortunately, I moved back to NYC and had to find somewhere else to get them done. The first time I went to Sapna, I emphasized that I only wanted it clean. They took off a little too much hair but it wasn't too bad and the shape was okay so I went back the next time I needed it done. It was a different woman the second time but I said the same thing, just clean. This time they took off more hair than before but even worse, now my brows are uneven. If I say just clean it up, why TF would you go trying to change the shape??? I feel like she messed up up my brow and kept taking off more hair in an attempt to fix it. 3 years of work on brows down the drain in 10 minutes. Anyone who's tried to grow out their brows knows how frustrating this is. Every time I look in the mirror I get pissed off all over again. read more

I found Arti on Yelp after searching tirelessly for a decent "eyebrow threading artist" within the Richmond Hill neighborhood. I've tried a few, however there was a lack of finesse. It's a bit out of my way, but still decided to give her a try based on the many 5 star ratings. It literally took less than 5 mins. Arti is an absolute gem. A combination of kind, talented, and professional. Before she started she asked me if I wanted just a clean up or if I had something else in mind. Obviously she is a mind reader because I was sitting down, so nervous, to leave my eyebrows to a new specialist. I explained to her that my eyebrows never really look the same and that if she could try to fix them the best way she knew how, I would appreciate it. She told me "I'll do my best," which was not only a determined answer, but a non-promising one. I have been to places that have answered "yes, I can fix them," and have done the complete opposite. My eyebrows have never looked so even, identical, and amazing. I am so grateful for Arti. Your whole face changes when your eyebrows are perfect, and I have Arti to thank for that! I also got a upper lip thread and an under arm wax, all for $27. Yes, you have to pay for parking, but that shouldn't take stars away from the shop, especially because it is easy to find parking and because 15 min cost .25 cents. Also. the inside of the shop may not look amazing and brand new, but it is authentic. And to me, that is SO much more important than a completely new, white tile floor shop with neon signs on the outside claiming they're amazing. Come here and ask for Arti if you want a great eyebrow threading experience. Arti is very professional and thorough, she took her time to really look at my eyebrows and was very diligent with her eyebrow threading. She explained what she was doing and how she was going to shape my brows and really listen to my requests. Arti was kind enough to do a patch test of the eyebrow tint on the to see. if I would have a reaction so that way I can decide if I want to do it next time. I'm very pleased with the quality of her work. I would recommend Arti to anyone looking for a great eyebrow threading experience. Arti works by herself Monday and Tuesday, is off Wednesday and is here Thursday through Sunday. I would recommend Artie to anyone looking for a great eyebrow threading experience. For eyebrow threading, you want someone who will be patient and do it carefully. However, the people here are rushed and cause welts/cuts on skin. The shape of eyebrow is also not good. If you ask them to change something, they roll their eyes. Then demand a tip. Will never return here again. read more

I'm really happy to have found this place. My brows come out looking consistently great when I am here. I have also done leg waxing here. The prices are good and the service is tops. The salon is clean and the chairs are comfortable. For anyone needing public transportation to get here, there is a Q54 bus stop right outside of the salon.
