I had a specific appointment set and throughout the years they never made a mistake until this time. My card listed one date and time and just before that date/time I received a text from them confirming my appointment for a week later. At 66 years of age I thought, maybe I was confused; but I wasn't. When I called and asked why they moved my appointment out one week, they said they didn't. They threw the hygienist under the bus and then told me they'd understand if I wanted to find a new dentist. At first I said, of course not, let's keep the appointment. But then after speaking to my wife about this, we realized they didn't actually want our business and didn't care if they lost it. My wife and I are both in the service industry and we were flabbergasted by this attitude. Importantly, the person with whom I had this conversation identified herself as the office manager! I'm sure her supervisor is very proud of her. I cannot recommend this practice. By the way, I'm truly an easy going guy, that's why I initially agreed to keep the appointment after she suggested I take my business somewhere else. This was a little hurtful.

They told me they would try and move some things around and they called me back within an hour with a same day appointment. When I got there they could tell I was in a lot of pain and they took the time to hear me out and work through some tests to help me find a solution. While they didn't see any obvious issues, they did call a partner specialist while they were in the room with me to try and get me seen by them that day. I'm super grateful to Dr Plecas and his team for accommodating me when I needed help, and making sure they took the time to work through it all.
