Chili sauce & Hot Garlic Sauce

Simple and yummy teriyaki chicken spot! Came in during my lunch break on Friday, and was greeted kindly by the gentleman working the register. Once I told him it was my first time, he broke down the menu options and size options for me. I decided on the large teriyaki chicken plate for here. Within 5 minutes I received my food which was steaming hot! The two side sauces, chili sauce and hot garlic sauce, are both nice supplements to the meal. The hot garlic sauce was my favorite forsure! Excellent potion too for the $10 price! Flavor: 5 Quality: 4 Service: 5 I've lived in the 805 my whole life and can't believe I haven't eaten here yet. Will definitely be returning soon!

Finally went here after a few years. I dont live near it. Also the BK nearby apparently closed too. But i stopped in, person behind the counter greeted me and seemed enthusiastic about it. Ordered food. Asked either to go or dine in. I was thanked. Sat down. Took a breathe. Aaaand my food was ready! Fast!!!! Good amount of rice and chicken. Comes with broccoli and cabbage? Not sure. Vegetables are not my expertise. Food was tasty and filling. Good portion. Will definitely be back.

While up in Oxnard to check out a car, we spent hours at the dealership from noon until 4 p.m., and by then, we were starving. As we waited for the car to be cleaned and charged, I quickly searched for food nearby. Turns out there's a Marketplace at Oxnard and a Costco just 450 meters away from the dealership, so we decided to head there for a meal. Out of all the restaurant reviews, we landed on a 4.5-star spot called New Chicken Bowl Teriyaki. The place has a simple setup--just two rows of tables on either side and a counter for ordering. I asked the owner (maybe?)what he would recommend, and of course, he suggested the Chicken Teriyaki. We ordered two large A1 meals--$8.95 each--and one small for $7.95. I was shocked by the prices--under $10 for a meal! When the food was served, I was even more surprised by the portion sizes. The chicken had crispy skin and juicy meat, with a teriyaki sauce that wasn't too salty. It came with a side of cabbage, slices of carrot, and broccoli, making it a balanced meal. The owner gave us two bottles of sauce--garlic sauce and spicy sauce--so you could add flavor to your liking. Overall, it was incredibly budget-friendly. I was full after just half my portion and took the rest home. The only slight downside is that everything comes pre-packed in plastic takeout containers, even if you're dining in. I guess it's a way to save time and effort, and it makes it easy to pack up any leftovers right away. My husband, who has a big appetite, finished his entire meal and said he was stuffed. If you're in the area, this place is worth checking out for a quick, affordable bite.

Yesterday I was looking through my bookmarks for a place to eat lunch. I saw this place on the list and thought, wow, I have no recollection of saving this spot. Where is this place? It was an hour past lunchtime, and I was hungry as hell. I checked out a couple reviews and some photos and decided I would check it out. I was in the mood for Teriyaki Chicken. When I say in the mood, I mean, I need some teriyaki chicken over here right got damn now! LOL So I use the convenient Directions button right there on the business' Yelp page and start my drive over. Get off on Rose. Turn right on Auto Center Drive. Wait, what? These are the directions to Costco. I'm thinking, Did Costco just open a Teriyaki Chicken bowl outlet? Alas, no. This wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant is in a strip mall kind of location just like a couple blocks before you get to Costco. Over by Guitar Center. Ima tell you what's so wonderful about this place: the chicken bowl is big and gob-smacking delicious. First let's talk about size. Even the small bowl is big. Lots and lots of moist tender chicken (I'm guessing thigh meat). Plus veggies (two broccoli florets, a nice slice of cabbage and a carrot slice), served on your choice of noodles or rice, or 50/50. All topped with the perfect amount (a lot) of delicious sauce. OK, just finding a delicious bowl like this is a wonderful thing, But now consider the price: $6.95 plus tax. Phenomenal deal. The small bowl has so much food jammed in there it was two whole lunches for me. I mean, it wasn't even like i was trying to stretch the order. I was hungry as hell when I tore into that sucker yesterday and I ate until I felt full. And that turned out to be half the bowl. Had the second half today, Two lunches for $7 something. This place is definitely going in my lunch restaurant rotation. One more thing: I was on a mission to get me some Teriyaki Chicken. But that didn't happen. I saw all these reviews mentioning House-made Hot Garlic Sauce Chicken. At the last minute I changed my order and went with the Hot Garlic Sauce. Best decision ever! That Hot Garlic Sauce is straight fire. According to Joe at the front counter, the chicken bowls here are the same if you order Teriyaki or Hot Garlic Sauce. They just give you the sauce in little plastic cups. You get a couple little cups per order. That sauce is so good I took a piece of chicken and used it to get every little bit of sauce out of the little cups. Then I took my finger and tried to get more out of it. But I stopped there. I didn't use my tongue to try to lick out every last molecule of sauce. Ok, I used my tongue to lick out every last molecule of sauce. That's how good that damn sauce is. Let me just say this is a gem of a spot. The foods amazing. $11 for a big plate of grilled chicken with rice and veggies. Also the lady at the register is so friendly, reminds me of seeing family.

I love teriyaki chicken bowls so I was on the hunt for options in Ventura County. I enjoy Flame Broiler (which we don't have out here) as an easy and quick option so I'm happy to have found a locally owned spot to try. Food: I tried the teriyaki chicken bowl which comes with rice and vegetables. The quality of the chicken is good. Not much fat or chewy pieces which is great cause who wants to bite into questionable meat? Not me! So I was pleased with the chicken. I got a large is PLENTY of food. I'm easily getting 2 meals out of it. It comes with a very small side of vegetables though so I'll probably ask for more next time rather than more rice. The teriyaki sauce was decent but more soy-saucey than sweet/thick teriyaki like I'm used to and enjoy. Don't forget to ask for your sides of hot sauce. It's so good! Now onto their drink options. Don't sleep on getting yourself one! I got the lychee drink and Thai tea and all I gotta say is YUM! Location: the restaurant easy to access and plenty of parking. It's literally across the way from Taqueria Cuernavaca and close to the Marshall's if you want to do some shopping.

The best steak chicken and noodles I've ever eaten. The lady working the front is the kindest, most caring person I've met. The floors, tables, and seats were spotless. More people should know about this spot, it should always be busy. The portions they give you here are great!!!

I must say for my first time having this place it was excellent/delicious. Staff treated me super cool and friendly. The atmosphere gives me mom and pop vibes with the same quality cooking. I've lived in oxnard my entire life and don't know how I passed this place up but definitely glad I took my coworkers advice on trying it. I recommend this place based off great customer service, delicious food, and great price.

It's a clean, contemporary space, though there isn't much else to say about the décor; it does its job without drawing too much attention to itself. The real surprise was the food. The noodles were excellent, far better than I had expected. It was flavorful and satisfying, the tofu was cooked perfectly, and the broth struck a nice balance without being overly spicy. Everything came together really well, making for a genuinely pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening, and I'd happily return.

I have been craving it ever since I got back from Korea and it was as if I never left. I recommend you give it a try. Also, since this was my first time I wanted to try something else and the worker, Judy was extremely helpful. She told me all the popular items that people have been ordering lately and I've decided to go with the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken. I'm so glad she recommended it because it was one of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in a long time. Now the inside of the restaurant itself is another great factor. Has a nice modern interior design with a nice shade of yellow. Exceptionally clean and had great Korean music playing. Overall, from walking in to leaving, one of the best services Ive had in a while. If you live in the area of Ventura, I highly recommend you go check this spot out. I'd give this spot more than five stars if I could!
