New China Buffet is your typical Chinese buffet. They have a wide variety of items to choose from. The quality and temperature of the food can leave much to be desired. I visited with my family. We were led to a nice table, close to the bar. Everything looked delicious but when we returned to our seats we were in for a disgusting surprise. My first bite of egg roll had me spitting into a napkin. It was foul, completely ruined. I set it aside and tried a spring roll with the same outcome. I told our waitress they needed to check both items. She looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about. My mother assured me the Lo Mein was a safe bet. While it was not ruined and tasted half way decent it was so greasy it coated my mouth and I didn't want anymore than a bite. Next, I tried the sesame chicken. I barely got it into my mouth when my tastebuds were flooded with rotten chicken. Into the napkin it went and I ran to the restroom, pretty sure my stomach contents were coming next. After an extended stay and being proved right, I returned to the table to see a huge pile of napkins and my family griping about the amount of dishes that were cold and/or inedible. It was over for me at that point but my family said the desserts were okay. The small amount of food that was actually edible was not worth what I paid. When I went to the cashier, I told her we had not been able to eat most of the food. Her response was to again tell me my total. I paid but feel like I shouldn't have, especially since I was sick for two days afterwards. Never again.

This is a ball of hair my 8 year old granddaughter found in her food.

We've tried this place many, many times during the last few years and it is hit or miss with hot, quality food and service.

Over priced. Restaurant wasn't very clean. The two adults and a twelve and eight year old ate for almost $50.

My first time at Gabriella's was recently. This place gets really busy..... fast! When I arrived,…read more there were about 2 ppl already present and ordering at the hot bar. It's kind of hard to tell what all the food options are, so I had to ask what some stuff was. I managed to get a meat and 2 instead of a meat and 5! There were quite a few veggie options that looked amazingly delicious! I do not recommend coming here hungry or hangry. Ok, sooo I love meat loaf so naturally that's what I got. I also got collards and cornbread dressing & yes they had cranberry sauce. Everything was good tasting. The meatloaf was a little sweet to my taste so I probably wouldn't order it again. The veggies were not over seasoned or overcooked. I will definitely comeback here bc there is still just so much I wanna try. The staff is nice and took care of the crowd. I even witnessed them give a person in need food, as they were about to dig in the restaurant's garbage can outside for scraps. Made me count my blessings.. all of them! There is street parking only. I didn't have any issues parking on a Sunday afternoon. The inside of this restaurant is not big but I was comfortable dining in.

Good southern food on a Sunday afternoon while visiting. Couldn't tell from the Yelp pictures but…read moreit's a really small restaurant with food displayed buffet style behind the clear partition that they serve you in a container. Only about 3 people at a time can hold inside before it's starts getting crowded. It stay pretty busy. Options are 1 meat with two sides or 2 meats with three sides combination. A la cart is available as well. They have ice tea or lemonade drinks in a cup that they also serve you. Lemonade was good. There's a very small counter to pay after you order. Fry chicken is tasty with perfect crisp. Collard greens were seasoned well and perfect texture. Yams (my favorite) was perfect - flavorful, not too sweet and firm but not hard. Both of us thought the Black eyed peas looked really good but taste bland. I would have preferred it without the Okra. I didn't see that when I ordered. One in our group commented the meat loaf was good. The dressing was really good too - well seasoned and tasty. After paying there's a dining area for self seating. It serves the purpose to sit and eat but definitely could use sprucing up along with the restrooms. Please seriously consider! It would make the experience much more pleasant to enjoy their delicious food. I took off two stars for that reason and yes it's that unpleasant as the tables/chairs are also too clustered together. The chairs don't fit around the table properly. Overall good southern food at a reasonable price and recommended. Skip dining in if you don't have too. Just my two cents.

Buffets...a special kind of place where all shame gets left out the door only to be stuffed like a…read moreThanksgiving turkey until the body is ready to burst. With all the trash talk about them, much of the world has a special affinity for these establishments nonetheless, whether it's a grand Las Vegas buffet brunch, an extravagant all you can eat feast in Dubai or a place like the King Buffet in Pelham, a countryside low cost, high volume spot to feed the masses of the blue collar class. King Buffet opened in 2023 in a space formerly occupied by Golden Corral. It's pleasantly renovated and as clean as an establishment can be for a buffet concept. There are all the classics here and a few nice extras, like crab. The seafood at King Buffet is plentiful, but to be fair, not particularly good. The crawfish are somehow extremely tasteless, not because they are not spiced, but they just don't taste like crawfish. That's something I've never encountered before. The coconut shrimp is subpar. Mongolian beef is very loosely reminiscent of beef. With that said, all the dishes are not bad either, they are just not great. Where King Buffet shines is the service, with extremely attentive wait staff and superb cleanliness that results from that. As a whole, it does justice to this category of food and there is absolutely no reason to pass by if craving a buffet style meal.
