4 tables. It is a deli.

The best tasting bbq ribs! We tried this place to pick up some ribs and a duck for a party and this place did not disappoint. It's a little hole in the wall. It doesn't look like much but boy is the food good. We also ordered some plate lunches. We had the barbecue pork fried rice, which was excellent. We had the 1 ton noodle soup. And we also had the pork congee.. they have a few places to sit like three or four tables, but mostly it is takeout. We're very happy with our food and we will be back again..

Some of the most authentic cuisines are where you least expect it. Right next door to H-Mart in Aurora lies this tiny BBQ shop. You can get BBQ meat whole (yes, you'll see whole ducks hanging right when you walk in), by the pound, or as a rice plate. There's a couple of tables inside and outside for those who want to dine-in. Not the coziest but suffice. They take your order at the counter, chop up and fire up your food, then bring it to you. You help yourself to their fridge for a beverage and then once you're done with your meal, you ring up and close out at the counter. There's usually two ladies at the front and knows exactly what your ordered. I always try to pay right after ordering the food and they'll remind me to just chill, and have a seat.

This is more suited for to-go orders. I would not recommend dining in. I took some crispy roast pork to go (asked them to keep it whole so that I can put this in the oven at home to crisp it up again). The meat itself was juicy and tender. The beef chow fun is fantastic!

This place is a hidden gem. It oozes of authentic Chinese deli vibes, with the small space, the auntie working the counter, and incredibly delicious food for a good price. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could eat more. My partner and I couldn't finish all the food between the two of us, but we still wanted more. I would've taken more home if I wasn't going to the airport lol. Great quality food that's fresh and warm.

This place is a hidden gem right next to HMart. I actually think a lot of people know about New Canton BBQ, but it's been hidden to us, even though we're at HMart weekly. We came at around 1pm on a Saturday and they had a lot of stuff in stock. We ordered half a duck and a half pound of crispy pork. It was about $35 for it all, which isn't too bad. The Crispy Pork was perfectly crunchy with juicy bits of meat. The crunch was a but on the saltier side, but paired greatly with white rice. The duck was so succulent and juicy. I think it's the best roasted duck I've gotten from a place. Love this place and will be coming back! Also, it's a tiny place so it fills up fast. Anymore than 5 people waiting causes the room to be very crowded.

For foodies looking for Chinese BBQ in South Denver, New Canton BBQ right by the Aurora HMart is the place to go. Very authentic and quite a lot of selections. The portion is large and good value for the price. Besides BBQ and braised dish with rice, they also have congee, wonton and noodles. Here is their triple roast meat rice. They now are close on Wednesdays (used to be Mondays).

Omg I can't believe I already reviewed New Canton- good work, past Lisa. ;) Back to 2024 Lisa- another resounding FIVE stars for this family gem! Brought my parents- who have verrrry high and particular standards and expectations for Asian food- and they loved it. The family is soooo kind and wonderful. We ordered half a duck- my folks, from Vegas, were shocked how inexpensive ($18 for half duck), flavorful and meaty it was. We also got steamed duck wings and pig ears for my folks. To my Asian friends- the aunties and uncles will approve!

Love this local family restaurant, great roasted duck and other authentic Chinese dishes. There isn't a lot of in house seating so we usually just grab and go. They are friendly and fast. Definitely recommend checking them out.

It's pretty awesome we have a location in Aurora that serves Hong Kong BBQ. It can be a hit or miss depending on the day and how busy they are. The only inconsistency I have experienced is the size of how big the pieces of the duck are cut in. Sometimes they're huge and other times they're pretty slim and great. The flavor is usually pretty great. If you go early and want to try something different, we always ask if they have pipa roast duck. The difference may be subtle if you're new but we like it better and they're one of the few locations that sells it. Otherwise, the other items on the menu are delicious like the char siu or the roast pork belly or the pig intestines. The owners and staff are pretty friendly. They speak Cantonese and understand my elementary level.

Excellent option near Hmart for roasted pig and duck. We also got bbq pork. Ugh can't believe I just found out about this place!!!!

Just moved here and finding good Cantonese food is challenging. We happened upon this while going to H Mart. A small hole in the wall. Limited seating (3 tables inside and some outside). Most come to buy their roast duck to take out. We had beef chow fun which was delicious. Also ordered the duck congee. We have been here twice and would come again to try something else.

We opted for a 3 item bbq plate - roast duck, roast pork and bbq pork (char siu). The bbq pork was fine, nothing special but the highlight was the roast duck and pork. The skin on the duck is still crispy, and had a good ratio of fat to meat and bones. Some places make it with a strong star anise flavor, but HKB does not. The flavor on the duck is sooo good and not too salty. The roast pork was juicy and the skin super crunchy! They gave a solid portion too. I'd spend my $20 on this any day! The 2 item and 3 item bbq options are on a separate lunch menu, but I'm not sure if it's offered daily or just weekdays. The rice plates come with some steamed chinese broccoli and a big scoop of rice. They also provide the bbq with a little dipping sauce. It pairs well with the greens, but is a tad bit salty so use sparingly. We also ordered beef chow fun, dry style. The beef slices are tender, the chow fun has that good wok hei flavor, nice and smoky. I do wish the noodles were a tad bit wider but overall, very solid dish. Sesame balls look/taste like the pre made frozen kind. It had a good chew, solid red bean filling and you get a ton for $5. The service here is nice and friendly. They give you giant cups of water and will check on you to refill it as well. It's in a plaza, lots of shared parking spaces and they do take CC for payment. I am devastated that my now favorite HK BBQ is not in California, but if anyone asks me where to eat in Denver, this spot is going to be my #1 recommendation.

Best to be eaten right away otherwise it gets soggy. The peiking duck was a little fatty but can't complain given the crispy skin and just being able to experience this in Denver, where it's rare to get real Chinese food. The Bao is super fluffy as well.

Once we got the food out to the vehicle, it smelled too good not to try right away so we did and the first bites were so good, we rushed in to ask if we could place an order for more to go! They told us no problem, offered us some water while we waited and told us it would be done in about 10 minutes. Decided to bring our other food in and eat that while we waited. They gave us dishes for sauces, napkins and welcomed us to eat there while we waited and even brought our new food out to be eaten at the restaurant even though they closed very soon after! We each got an order of the variety soup dumplings which was so fun to try and were each unique and tasty! The fried pork dumplings were phenomenal, they reminded us of our favorite spot back home! And the orange chicken was made a bit differently than the typical Americanized version of the dish usually is but in the BEST way possible! We will DEFINITELY be back when we are in the area!!

Not sure if they already used up the good parts of the meat and that's what they had leftover, but this is what's keeping them from being a 5. Otherwise it tasted good, I could see the potential. This was a disappointment. We got overly sweetened little tiny riblets with no smokiness. They were super thin and not what we expected. Will kit order this again. The black mushroom with vegetables was ok. I expected the black mushrooms to be more tender and felt they could have been simmered more to make them softer.
