Food is excellent. We ordered delivery to Calusa Lakes and the delivery came within 20 minutes. (estimated time was 30-40 minutes). The prices are very reasonable. My wife has the General's Tso's chicken and I had the house special Singapore chow mei fun. It was made with a pasta like Angel Hair pasta but the tast and mix were great. I highly recommend it. When I walked in I was taken back to my time is Asia. The decor, smells and overall environment is authentic for certain. The menu is pretty standard. When I was seated A bowl of pretzel like crackers were put on the table. Just from the sight of the various sizes, I could tell that this bowl was filled with the bottom of the bag parts upon tasting one my theory was confirmed as they were very stale. The food arrived less than 5 minutes after my soup. I like to have a little time to enjoy my first dish before being given my second. But to each their own I guess. The tea was smooth and in general the food was just the same as any other China themed stateside eatery I've eaten at before. This place has changed hands three times that I know of, but it always comes back as a typical generic Chinese restaurant. Maybe a little worse than average this time. The Szechuan beef had plenty of meat and vegetables, just not much flavor. Szechuan is supposed to be spicy, but this was very bland. The "hot and sour" soup was neither. This supports my long-held belief that one factory in Beijing generates millions of tons of boring Americanized food and blasts it through tunnels through the center of the earth to 95% of the Chinese restaurants in the USA, which is why they all taste pretty much the same. read more

Went to New China after reading the reviews on Yelp. I'm from out of town and needed some good Chinese food. It was excellent. While I waited for my food, I went to the Publix Liquors next door and chose a bottle of wine. That was a great choice for a time filler! The food was ready in 10 or 12 minutes and it was so good! Try the New China, it is tasty and reasonably priced. I had the shrimp egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, and shrimp lo mein. All excellent. read more

I'm sorry, but this was the worst Chinese take-out we have ever had. Except for the LoMein, everything was dried out, overcooked and impossible to eat. This was right at the opening of 4 pm on a Sunday and all we could think of was that these were left-overs reheated from the day before. Very disappointed. read more

Being new to the area, I happened upon this place as I was nearby at another business. I went in, and it was empty, walked up to the counter and in the little connecting room about 5 ft from me, a woman and little boy were sitting at a table. I stood there about 5 mins and finally said Is there anyone here to help me please? She reluctantly got up and asked what I'd like to order. She was not friendly at all and acted like I was being a bother. I asked a question or two, but decided I'd try the Won Ton Soup to see if I liked their cooking so ordered the quart for 2 people to go. I asked her if the crunchy noodles were included and she said yes. I got it home and the two TINY bags of crunchies was being cheap, but more important was the soup. The soup had a funny aftertaste to it and the won tons were chewy. It was very disappointing overall and I'm glad I didn't spend more money there. If they treat all customers like this and give this quality food, it's amazing they are open at all. read more

They seem to have cut down on their portions sizes since I came last (2 months ago). The prices are now much more in line with what you get. I was very disappointed, but the food is still tasty. If they were going to reduce portion sizes, a healthy price decrease would've been appreciated as well. I am still holding out for an extended menu, as their current selection is weak. We have tried virtually every Chinese restaurant in 20 mile radius. This is the winner. Very clean and efficient. Family that runs it is very gracious and friendly. Giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the food was pretty good, although I won't order pork again for sure. We likely won't actually order from them again as it took more than an hour and a half for it to be delivered. I placed the order at 3:45, and they don't start delivering until after 4, which was fine. I was ordering online and it wouldn't let me select a time before 5, so I chose 5. I assumed an hour and 15 minutes would be more than enough for them, and surely it would even come a little before 5. By 5:10, I called, and the first guy was friendly and put me on hold to check the status. I'm assuming the man who is the owner then picked up and was extremely short with me and didn't seem to be worried about customer service. He said 15 more minutes. Our card was then charged for the total, and it was another 20 minutes before it finally arrived. We are 4 miles from the location, and I'm assuming they didn't send anyone to us with the order until after we called. Super poor service. read more
