They are rude.. they lie.. and they can't tell me if they're staying true to the restaurants menu in preparation of their items so I will not waste another two hour round-trip because my last time, they screwed up my food and promised if I came back that they would redo it.. and assured me that they were making the dish the same.... but the lady got an attitude with me. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten (including China Town in NYC)! The egg drop soup is great, we took guests from Florida last weekend and they greatly enjoyed it. My nephew commented on how fresh the veggies were and the flavor of the food is outstanding. Lastly the prices are so reasonable, do yourself a favor and check them out. My first time here, I am chinese descendant, so I grew up around original chinese food. Not from restaurants mostly made by my grandpa. The service was very nice and pleasant. The food was ready on a timely matter My problem: I asked for Pecking Duck. Is usually roasted, deboned with little chinese rice pancakes. Food is pretty mediocre, I've heard some pretty bad rumors from trustworthy sources as well. It's always empty too.

Ordered on Christmas Day ( door dash), food was really good, good portions. Highly recommend the steamed dumplings. House fried rice and general tso's was delicious too. Will definitely be ordering from here again read more

I went there and ordered three meals to go for my family. One of the meals was sweet and sour chicken, it comes with fried rice and an egg roll for 7 something. I asked for another sweet and sour chicken with meat only because I wanted to order a side of fries. The Chinese lady told me I couldn't do that but I could buy a box of chicken for 8.25 and then add my fries. I was not asking to substitute, I was asking for the rice and egg roll to simply be left of my plate and that I would pay for my fries separately but she said I had to buy the $8.25 box to do that. So I get my food, drive home, open the boxes and immediately notice that the sweet and sour chicken is the same amount that comes with the 7.25 meal. Keep in mind I paid 8.25 for chicken only! I decide it's not worth it to drive back up there and complain so I start eating my chicken and first bite was nothing but breading. The entire piece of "chicken" was nothing but bread/ dough. I try another piece and it was super hard and had a small sliver of meat to it that tasted like jerky. At this point I am feeling annoyed. I try a third piece, and again, nothing but breading. Fuming, I start ripping each piece open looking for meat, I separated the breading from the meat and the ratio was 10:1. To put it in perspective, all of the meat combined may have made one chicken tender and the meat was hard and jerky like. I put just the breading back into the box and it was full almost to the stop of the box so I basically paid 8.25 for a box of breading that goes on sweet and sour chicken and 1 over cooked hard as jerky chicken tender. My husband did go up there and they replaced the box but it sucks that we had to go through all that to begin with. Simply put, never again. read more

The hot and sour soup is wonderful! Their egg rolls and the addictive sauce is to die for! I've eaten at this place many times while traveling through the state and they are by far the friendliest hard working owners I've ever met! They work hard 7 days a week, how many places do you know are that dedicated and their chicken wings...I crave that and I have never had a teriyaki sauce that ever tastes at good! I love the New York steaks are grilled to perfection and always get it when I get a chance I order their sweet and sour chicken and pork and the fried rice oh man, their fried rice in that hot smoking wok is such a great smoky flavor! The owners are wonderful folks and they work so hard from new refugees to working so hard and now they finally have made the restaurant made their dreams a reality! Highly recommended and the prices are sooooo freaking cheap! Looking forward to eating here when I visit Georgia again! read more

Okay so I came to this restaurant with an open mind. I saw the reviews and thought I'd check it out. The menu variety was good. We ordered chicken katsu only for them to tell us they didn't have it‍ I guess she was a trainee. Then why keep it on the menu? Our server didn't know some questions about the menu but like I said she was a trainee. I ordered beef and broccoli (don't recommend) and the gave me the dinner special plate. I didn't order that but oh well. And when she gave us our fortune cookies, they were stale. So I don't really recommend this place. read more

Hell naw. I came to this place, because I am from the area and I have not dined here in a long time. Horrible mistake. The lo-mein I purchased tasted like fish oil and the vegetables were soggy like they had been sitting and waiting all day for someone to use them. Not only did I immediately become a fan of the Chinese cuisine during my visit, I became a fan of their culture. I live within walking distance of New China and I have only tried them once. It was awful! I'd rather travel 30 minutes to Hinesville for good Chinese. New China needs a major overhaul! We tried the chicken and broccoli and the shrimp and broccoli. They seem to do a lot of business though. Not sure if its because they are one of the only two Chinese food restaurants in Jesup or if there is something that they actually cook right... Buyer beware... read more

Moved to the area last August from the North East and have been searching for a quality Chinese restaurant. I noticed this restaurant while driving through Jesup. So I looked it up on Yelp. I figured with 3 1/2 stars, it was worth my trying it out. Well I did, and have to say, I will NOT be going there again. My trial order was something that was relatively simple. I ordered their Chicken and Broccoli dinner. It was horrible! My idea of Chicken and Broccoli is geometric pieces of meat with broccoli florets, stir fried in a savory Chinese stir fry sauce. Not this one. It appeared that the chicken and broccoli pieces were poached in chicken broth. Not what I am accustomed to, or even seen before! It was watery, salty, and tasteless. The fried rice that came with it was dry, and again did not look to me to be traditional stir fried rice. I past that up and tried the egg roll, which was mediocre, but edible. Needless to say, I won't be back and my search continues for a quality Chinese restaurant. read more

New China in Jesup is one of the best places in town. Extremely friendly, always customer service oriented; you feel like family here. The food is tasty, ample, and suited to local paletes, with fast, accommodating service. Locally owned and well run -- they are part of the fabric of the community. Literally the worst chinese food I've ever had. Not to mention the prices were ridiculous. They don't have General T so chicken and their sesame seed chicken taste like it could just as easily be sesame seed pigeon (minus the sesame sauce). I wouldn't ea tty here if they paid me for it. read more
